又一方：取十根石菖蒲根、一粒去心的巴豆，一起捣碎制成七丸，用棉布包裹后塞入耳内。
又一方：取杏核烧至微微冒烟，敲破取出杏仁，用棉布包裹后塞入耳内。
又一方：将驴油滴入耳中；或者使用蛇油、[缺失药材]油都可以。
又一方：将乌头削成枣核大小，在苦酒（醋）中浸泡一夜，稍干后塞入耳中，效果显著。
又一方：取一条干地龙，放入葱尾中，加入少许盐，使其化为水，滴入耳中。
治疗患聋多年听不见的：取牡荆子一升，用三升酒浸泡七夜，滤去渣滓，随意饮尽即可恢复听力，非常有效。
治疗耳聋伴有疼痛的：取百合晒干，研为细末，每次服用二钱，饭后用温水调服。
治疗耳痛：将石菖蒲研为细末并炒热，趁热包裹塞入耳中，效果很好。
治疗耳内肿痛，流出脓血：将白矾烧成细末，加入少量麝香，吹入耳中，每天三四次；或者用棉布包裹塞入耳中，立即痊愈。
治疗耳内有脓，称为“通耳”：将猪蓝子（猪胆汁或相关部位，此处指代特定药材）研为细末，吹入耳内，不超过两三次即可痊愈。
又一方：取如枣核大小的甘遂，用棉布包裹塞入耳中，同时在口中慢慢咀嚼甘草。
又一方：将香附子研为细末，用砂锅煎萝卜种子汤，饭后、临睡前服用二钱。干萝卜也可以，注意不要接触铁器。
治疗耳聋：将细辛研为细末，用熔化的黄蜡调和制成如鼠粪大小的丸剂，用棉布包裹，塞入耳中。
又一方：将鼠胆倾入耳中。
又一方：取草麻子五十个去皮，与一枚熟枣一起捣烂，制成如小枣大小的丸剂，再加入小儿乳汁调和。每次使用一丸。
又一方：取全蝎四十九个，去除毒刺并用湿水泡过，取半升糯米铺在大瓦片上，将蝎子铺在米上焙烤，直到米粒变黄，研为细末调服。
又一方：取一块长七分长的苍术，将一头切平，另一头削尖，将尖头插入耳内，在平头上放置如筷子头大小的艾炷（进行艾灸）。
又一方：取七个杏仁去皮，研碎分为三份，每份加入一小粒豆大小的盐，用棉布包裹，放在饭甑中蒸，等到饭熟时取出使用。
治疗耳聋鼻塞：取三枚干柿切碎，粳米三合，少许豆豉，煮粥空腹服用。
治疗肾气虚损导致的耳聋：取一对鹿肾，去除脂膜切碎，在豆豉汁中加入粳米二合煮粥，用五味调料调和，空腹食用。

又一方：将驴牛乳灌入耳中。
又一方：将韭菜汁灌入。如果伴有脑痛，用熟桃叶塞住双耳，或者用葱汁、生姜汁灌入耳中。
治疗耳中有异物无法取出：用细麻绳剪开使头部散开，蘸好胶，伸入耳中粘住异物，慢慢引出。
治疗诸虫入耳：将苍耳草捣烂取自然汁，灌入适量于耳内，虫子就会倒出来。
治疗蜒蚰（蜗牛/蛞蝓）入耳：将少许龙脑（冰片）吹入，虫子即化为水。
又一方：用羊乳酪灌入，也化为水。
又一方：用黑驴乳灌入耳中。
又一方：取猫尿灌入耳中，虫子立即出来。取猫尿的方法：用盆盛放猫，用生姜擦拭猫的牙齿。
治疗虫入耳：取椒末一钱，半盏醋浸泡良久，少量灌入，虫子自然会从耳中出来。
治疗风虚耳聋：取柘木白皮及向东生长的根部白皮煮汁，蘸酒服用，有验证的效果。
治疗耳有脓：取桑螵蛸一个，慢火炙烤保留药性，麝香一字，研细。用棉杖缠绕去除脓血，掺半字量入耳，
Treatment for Tinnitus (Ear Ringing): Cut fresh Rehmanniae Radix (Sheng Dihuang) into pieces the size of a jujube pit, wrap in wet paper, and gently roast over low heat. Insert into the ear, replacing frequently until cured.
Treatment for Tinnitus and Itching: Equal parts of Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Wutou) burnt to ash and Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu) are ground into powder. Wrap in cotton and insert into the ear, changing twice daily.
Another prescription: Take fresh Aconitum carmichaelii root (Sheng Wutou), peel while moist, and shape into a jujube-pit size. Insert into the ear, changing once in the morning and once at night; cured in three days.
Treatment for Deafness: Equal parts of Realgar (Xionghuang) and Sulfur (Liuhuang) are ground into powder, wrapped in cotton, and inserted into the ear.
Another prescription: Ten stalks of Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu) root and one seed of Crotonis Fructus (Badou) with the heart removed are pounded together to make seven pills. Wrap in cotton and insert into the ear.
Another prescription: Dried Stemona Root (Gusuibu) is cut into strips and fire-roasted. While hot, insert into the ear.
Another prescription: Gum from Sophora japonica (Huaijiao) and Pheretima (Dilong) are heated by roasting, wrapped in cotton, and inserted into the ear.
Another prescription: Apricot kernels are burned until slight smoke appears, cracked open, and the kernel extracted. Wrapped in cotton, insert into the ear.
Another prescription: Donkey fat is dripped into the ear. Snake oil or [missing herb] oil are also effective.

Treatment for Deafness with Pain: Dry Baeckeae Bulbus (Baihe) is sun-dried and ground into powder. Take two qian per dose, mixed with warm water after meals.
Treatment for Earache: Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu) is ground into powder and stir-fried. While hot, wrap in cloth and insert into the ear. Very effective.
Treatment for Ear Swelling, Pain, and Purulent Discharge: Calcined Alum (Baifan) is ground into powder with a small amount of Moschus (Shexiang). Blown into the ear three to four times daily, or wrapped in cotton and inserted for immediate cure.
Treatment for Chronic Otorrhea (Tong Er): Powdered Pig Gallbladder/Bile components (Zhu Lanzi) are blown into the ear. Cured within two or three applications.

Treatment for Deafness: Asiasari Radix (Xixin) is ground into powder, mixed with melted beeswax to form pills the size of mouse droppings. Wrap in cotton and insert into the ear.

Grind the first three ingredients into powder, mix evenly.
Treatment for Hot Ears with Sweating: One qian each of Talcum (Huashi), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), and Platycodonis Radix (Tianhuafen), plus a little Borax (Naozi), are ground into powder and applied into the ear.
Treatment for Unstopping Otorrhea: One liang of dried and roasted Caulis Bambusae in Taenia (Wubeizi) and three qian of burnt Scorpion (Quanxie) ash are ground into powder and applied into the ear.

Treatment for Ear Pus: One Sangpiaoxiao (Spermopteri Ootheca) is slow-roasted to retain nature. Mix with one "zi" of Moschus (Shexiang) and grind fine. Use a cotton swab to remove pus/blood, then apply half a "zi" into the ear.
Treatment for Ear Bleeding: Ground Ochra (Longgu) is blown into the ear.
Treatment for Ear Moisture and Purulent Discharge: One liang each of calcined Minium (Chuang Huangdan) and Calcined Alum (Kubai Fan), and two qian each of Carthami Flos (Lingxiaohua) and Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishaoyao) are ground into powder. Blow into the ear.
