Rub with salt and wash the injured area with saline solution; the pain will cease.
Another method: Chew *Evodiae Fructus* (Wuzhuyu, 吴茱萸) until mashed and apply it to the affected area, or apply mud from the bottom of a well.
Another method: Mash mulberry leaves (*Mori Folium*) or ramie leaves (*Boehmeriae Caulis et Folium*) and apply them to the injured site.
Another method: Light sesame oil (*Sesami Oleum*) in a lamp and fumigate the affected area until healed.
Another method: Mix juice from the root bark of the mulberry tree (*Mori Cortex*) with salt and apply to the wound, or apply powder of Realgar (*Realgar*).
A specific technique: Urgently write the character "Yin" (寅) on the ground with your hand. When reaching the final dot stroke, immediately scoop up the soil from that dot and the top dot with your finger, then rub the injured area with this soil until healed.
Another method: Let fresh blood from the comb of a rooster drip onto the wound to heal it. Alternatively, apply powder from dried chicken manure.

In the past, a maid was using a blowpipe to kindle a fire, unaware that a centipede (*Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans*) was inside. She blew towards the fire, startling the centipede, which darted into her mouth and slid down her throat. She sought help desperately.
People were at a loss. Someone suggested: Take a young chicken, cut its throat to extract the blood, consume it immediately, then drink clear oil to induce vomiting, causing the centipede to be expelled.
Once, a person accidentally swallowed a leech while drinking water at night. It remained in the abdomen for a long time, breeding smaller leeches that fed on the person's liver blood. The patient suffered unbearable abdominal pain, became sallow and emaciated, and lost all appetite. Without treatment, death was inevitable. The prescription used a piece of field mud, three small dead fish, and pig fat (*Su You*), melted and pounded together. Add ten seeds of *Crotonis Fructus* (Badou, 巴豆) with the oil removed. Pound these four ingredients—mud, fish, fat, and croton seeds—together uniformly. Form pills the size of mung beans. Swallow them with cold water from the field. Adults take five to seven pills; children take three. Shortly after, all leeches are excreted. Subsequently, regulate the condition with *Bazhen Tang* (Eight Treasures Decoction).
Chew fresh perilla leaves (*Perillae Folium*) finely and swallow with plain warm water; health will be restored.
Drink good rice vinegar slowly; the toxicity will be resolved.
Immediately wash and wipe the area with urine, then apply sesame oil, or apply powder of Realgar, or apply powder from honeycomb (*Vespa Nidus*).
The *Taiping Yulan* cites the *Records of Wei*: Lady of Pengcheng went to the toilet at night and was stung on the hand by a scorpion. She groaned in agony. Hua Tuo instructed her to soak her hand in warm water, changing it frequently to keep it constantly warm. By dawn, she had recovered.
