丝从舌出。一切痈疽肿毒，用生矾末二钱，温酒调下立效。一霍乱吐泻，头旋眼晕，手
足转筋，四肢逆冷，枯矾末一钱，百沸汤点服。一毒蛇所伤，用生矾以滚水泡，洗其伤处。一 疮，用
枯矾末，陈酽醋敷疮四围，好皮上干则换，渐渐收敛，则渐渐敷之。一切肿毒疮疖，用生矾入水化开，用皮
纸蘸矾水，频搭患处，立消。一诸肿毒发背，一应恶疮，用端午日取白矾研末，但遇疮毒初起，每三钱，加
葱头切，拌匀，好酒调服。一乳鹅斗喉，用枯矾、白僵蚕炒，等分为末，吹之立已。
文蛤散
一诸般肿毒疼痛，用五倍子炒为细末，醋调敷患处，立消。一自汗，盗汗不止，用五倍子为末，津液
调填满脐中，绢帛缚之，过一宿即止。一偏坠气，用倍子五六个，烧存性为末，好酒调，空心服，以醉为
度。一 耳，俗云耳底脓出，用倍子烧存性为末，吹入耳中。一火眼疼痛，风热肿烂，用倍子、蔓荆子等分，
水浓煎，温洗之。一久痢腹痛，日夜无度，不思饮食，倍子、枯矾等分为末，醋糊为丸，每三四十丸，空心
米汤下。一脱肛，用倍子半斤，水煮极烂，盛在桶中熏之，待温以手慢慢托上。一法，以倍子为末敷之，
频托。一手冻裂疮，用倍子为末，牛骨髓调搽疮口，以帛缚之。一妇人赤白带下，用倍子炒桃仁，炒去皮尖，
等分为末，空心烧酒调服。一小儿夜啼，用倍子末，津调纳脐中，即止。一发背痈疽，用好醋， 倍子，入
猪脑髓同捣如膏贴之。如疮在左，用左边脑。一鱼口疮，初出三五日，用倍子炒为末，入百草霜，醋调贴患处，
一日夜即消。一中药毒，用五倍子二两重研细，用无灰酒调服，毒在上即吐，在下即泻，大效。
舌头上长出丝状物。对于一切痈疽肿毒，用生明矾末二钱，温酒调服，立即见效。有一例霍乱引起的呕吐腹泻，头晕眼花，手足抽筋，四肢冰冷，用枯明矾末一钱，用刚开的水冲服。有一例被毒蛇咬伤，用生明矾以滚水泡开，清洗受伤部位。有一例疮疡，用枯明矾末，陈年浓醋敷在疮疡四周，好皮肤上干了就更换，逐渐收敛，就逐渐敷药。一切肿毒疮疖，用生明矾入水化开，用皮纸蘸取矾水，频繁搭在患处，立即消散。有一类诸般肿毒发背，一应恶疮，用端午日采集白明矾研成末，只要遇到疮毒初起，每次三钱，加葱头切碎，拌匀，用好酒调服。有一例乳蛾（扁桃体肿大）和锁喉风，用枯明矾、白僵蚕炒制，等分为末，吹入咽喉，立即痊愈。
文蛤散
有一类诸般肿毒疼痛，用五倍子炒为细末，醋调敷在患处，立即消散。有一例自汗、盗汗不止，用五倍子为末，津液调匀填满肚脐中，用绢帛包扎，过一夜即可停止。有一例偏坠气（睾丸肿胀下垂），用五倍子五六个，烧至存性为末，用好酒调服，空腹服用，以喝醉为度。有一例耳底流脓，俗称为耳底脓出，用五倍子烧至存性为末，吹入耳中。有一例火眼疼痛，风热导致的红肿溃烂，用五倍子、蔓荆子等分，用水浓煎，温洗患处。有一例久痢腹痛，日夜无度，不思饮食，用五倍子、枯明矾等分为末，醋糊做成丸剂，每次三四十丸，空腹米汤送下。有一例脱肛，用五倍子半斤，水煮极烂，盛在桶中熏蒸，待温度适宜时用手慢慢托回。另一方法，将五倍子为末敷在患处，频繁托举。有一例手部冻裂疮，用五倍子为末，牛骨髓调搽疮口，用布包扎。有一例妇人赤白带下，用五倍子炒桃仁，炒后去皮尖，等分为末，空腹烧酒调服。有一例小儿夜啼，用五倍子末，津液调匀纳入肚脐中，立即停止。有一例发背痈疽，用好醋、五倍子，加入猪脑髓同捣如膏贴敷。如果疮在左边，用左边的猪脑。有一例鱼口疮（腹股沟淋巴结炎），初出三五天，用五倍子炒为末，加入百草霜，醋调贴患处，一天一夜即可消散。有一例中毒，用五倍子二两重研细，用无灰酒调服，毒邪在上则呕吐，在下则腹泻，效果显著。
Silk-like filaments emerge from the tongue. For all types of carbuncles, ulcers, swelling, and toxic sores, use 2 qian of raw alum powder, mixed with warm wine for oral administration; immediate effect is expected. In a case of cholera morbus with vomiting and diarrhea, dizziness, vertigo, convulsions of the hands and feet, and cold extremities, use 1 qian of calcined alum powder, taken orally with boiling water. For snakebite injuries, soak raw alum in boiling water and wash the injured area. For a sore/ulcer, apply calcined alum powder mixed with aged strong vinegar around the periphery of the lesion; replace when the healthy skin becomes dry, gradually applying as it converges. For all swelling, toxic sores, and boils, dissolve raw alum in water, dip paper into the alum solution, and frequently apply to the affected area for immediate resolution. For various carbuncles and back abscesses, as well as all malignant sores, collect white alum on the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu), grind into powder. When a sore or toxin first appears, take 3 qian each time, mixed with chopped scallion bulbs, blended well, and taken with good wine. For tonsillar hypertrophy (Ru'e) and throat obstruction (Douhou), stir-fry calcined alum and whitish silkworm (Bai Jiangcan) in equal parts, grind into powder, and insufflate into the throat for immediate cure.
Wen Ge San (Clam Shell Powder)
For various painful swellings and toxic sores, stir-fry Chinese gallnut (Wu Bei Zi) into fine powder, mix with vinegar, and apply to the affected area for immediate resolution. For spontaneous sweating and night sweats that do not cease, grind Chinese gallnut into powder, mix with saliva to fill the umbilicus, bind with silk cloth, and stop after one night. For unilateral testicular swelling and descent (Pian Zhui Qi), use 5-6 Chinese gallnuts, burn until carbonized but retaining efficacy (Cun Xing), grind into powder, mix with good wine, and take on an empty stomach until intoxicated. For otorrhea (pus discharge from the ear base, commonly called "ear bottom pus"), burn Chinese gallnut until carbonized, grind into powder, and insufflate into the ear. For fiery eye pain and redness/swelling/ulceration due to wind-heat, use equal parts of Chinese gallnut and Vitex fruit (Man Jing Zi), decoct strongly in water, and wash the eyes with the warm liquid. For chronic dysentery with abdominal pain, day and night without limit, and loss of appetite, use equal parts of Chinese gallnut and calcined alum, grind into powder, make pills with vinegar paste, take 30-40 pills on an empty stomach with rice soup. For rectal prolapse, use half a jin (approx. 500g) of Chinese gallnut, boil until extremely soft, place in a bucket for fumigation, and once warm, manually push it back up slowly. Another method: apply Chinese gallnut powder to the area and frequently push it back. For cracked hands due to frostbite, grind Chinese gallnut into powder, mix with ox marrow, apply to the cracks, and bind with cloth. For women with red and white leukorrhea, stir-fry Chinese gallnut with peach kernel (Tao Ren), stir-fry until skin and tips are removed, grind equal parts into powder, and take on an empty stomach with distilled liquor. For infantile nocturnal crying, grind Chinese gallnut into powder, mix with saliva, and insert into the umbilicus to stop crying immediately. For back carbuncle and ulcer, mix good vinegar, Chinese gallnut, and pig brain marrow, pound into a paste, and apply as a plaster. If the sore is on the left, use the left side of the pig's brain. For fish-mouth sore (inguinal lymphadenitis), within 3-5 days of onset, stir-fry Chinese gallnut into powder, add Baicao Shuang (soot from burning various herbs), mix with vinegar, and apply to the affected area; resolve within one day and night. For poisoning from ingesting toxic substances, grind 2 liang (approx. 75g) of Chinese gallnut finely, mix with clear wine (without ash residue) for oral administration; if the toxin is upper, induce vomiting; if lower, induce diarrhea; highly effective.
