Take the purified powder of each ingredient. Grind finely and mix evenly. It can be used for external application or internal administration. For internal administration, take five fen each time. With four fen of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma nodi. Decoct into a decoction, mix with honey, and take.

One formula treats infantile erysipelas. Apply externally after pounding Portulacae Herba or Indigo naturalis paste.
Manis Squama (use three scales from the tail, roast with mutton fat until yellow) Scorpionis Cauda (seven pieces) Grind together into fine powder. Mix with human breast milk and apply to the nipple. Let the infant suckle.
