玉带膏

蜡梅花熬水含之愈。

治各种牙痛经验神方
宽筋藤（八分，切薄片） 连壳鸡蛋（一只）
用山水两大碗，煮数日滚，将蛋去壳，再煮至蛋极老，去蛋及藤服之，其痛立止。
又方
用生小蛤一只，剖开去皮，并头足洗净，遍蘸雄黄末，将蛤敷上患处，合口含住，俟觉
腥闷难忍，然后将口涎吐出，其牙虫随涎出，再含再吐，以痛止虫尽为度。

刺少商穴法
穴在手大指内侧，去爪甲如韭菜叶，刺入二分许，以手自臂勒至刺处，出血即消。若重
者，及脓成者，必须针患处，否则不治也。
黄连、黄柏（各五分），青黛（水飞法处理，一钱），冰片（一钱）。
焙干后研为细末，每次取三分，吹入患处即可自愈。
（重舌和木舌，都属于心火亢盛所致）
用川黄连末一钱，以灯心草汤送服，服用两次即见效。
治疗重舌肿胀，将铁锅烧红，刮下铁锈。研成细末，用水调匀含在口中。

玉带膏
生真龙骨（二两），宫粉（一两五钱），顶上大梅片（冰片，二钱五分），麝香（二钱五分），净黄蝉蜕（二两），真硼砂（二钱五分），陈年黄蜡。
将以上五味药（注：原文列举了六味药材加黄蜡，此处依文意理解为前五味药末与黄蜡混合）研成细末并混合均匀备用。先将黄蜡隔水加热熔化，加入前述药末搅拌均匀，用棉纸将药液倾倒在纸上，用竹刀刮匀，剪成小指宽、一寸长的条状，收贮于瓷瓶内，密封保存备用。
治疗各种牙痛的妙方：

治疗风火牙痛并兼治虫牙。
薄荷（一两），川椒（五钱），细辛（一两），樟脑（一两）。
共同研成细末，放入铜锅内，上面盖一个瓷碗，用文武火炼制取霜使用。
苦瓜霜
火硝（二钱半），青黛（五钱），槟榔衣（一两，黑色）。
共同研成细末，先取一个大苦瓜，在蒂旁切下一片，将药纳入其中，挂在通风处，待皮上结出白霜，取出贮存备用。
牙齿疼痛方：
秋丝瓜藤（一两），槐花（三钱），薄荷（一钱五分），细辛（八分）。
用清水煎煮成浓汁，含漱四五次即见效。
治疗牙痛奇妙且极有效的方子：
好汾酒一小茶杯，放入一撮花椒，用火点燃，等到烧到一半时，将火吹灭，稍候片刻，趁热含在口内，立即吐出，患处立愈。
治疗牙出血方：
生地（三钱），元参（玄参，三钱），麦冬（一钱五分），白芍（一钱五分），女贞子（三钱），丹皮（牡丹皮，一钱五分），泽泻（一钱），知母（一钱五分），盐柏（盐炒黄柏，一钱五分），碎补（骨碎补，二钱五分），连翘（一钱五分），沙参（三钱），生甘（生甘草，一钱）。

治疗虫牙方：
取活田鸡去皮，含在患处，另准备一大碗清水放在桌上，过一会儿等口水流出，吐在碗中，可以在水中观察虫子，大小都能看见，如此操作数次，从此永无此患。
治疗走马疳：
此症口臭，牙齿腐烂流涎，嘴唇下面像羊须一样溃烂。
生大黄（三钱），丁香（十粒），绿豆（一钱）。
共同研成细末，用热醋调敷双脚脚心最为有效，如果再配合真珍珠粉吹入患处，效果更佳。
治疗走马疳：
人中白（二两，红色），儿茶（一两），黄柏（六钱），南薄荷（六钱），真青黛（六钱），大梅片（冰片，三钱）。
研成细末，先用温汤漱口清洗，然后吹药于患处数次。内服银柴胡、芦荟、胡黄连、川黄连、炒牛蒡子、玄参、桔梗、山栀子、熟石膏、薄荷、羚羊角各五分，用水二盅，煎服。
治疗牙疳妙方：
咸马肾子（腌制过的马肾脏），连同水一起含在口中，然后吐掉，再喝一盅水即可痊愈。
擦牙关兼去除口中异味：
大黄（五钱），甘杜（可能指甘松或类似香料，原文存疑，暂录），香附（去毛，酒制），白芷，生石膏（各五钱），真川椒，绿豆（各四十九粒），细辛（三钱），青果核（十八颗），淮盐（八两，火煅，过绢筛使用），牙灰（三两，水飞，晒干）。

活鲫鱼一条，重十两，将白砒一钱放入鱼腹内，放在无风、无猫、无狗的地方，七天后鱼身发白，用鸡毛拂去毛发，用少许药膏收集起来。每当遇到病牙，取少量药膏贴在牙齿片刻，牙齿就会脱落。
脱牙：
白马肉埋在地下等待生出虫子，取出烧成灰，点涂在牙齿上，牙齿即脱落。
又一方：
柠檬果皮煲黑醋含漱即可痊愈。
治疗各种牙痛的经验神方：
宽筋藤（八分，切薄片），带壳鸡蛋（一只）。
用山水两大碗，煮几天至沸腾，将蛋去壳，再煮至蛋非常老，去掉蛋及藤头服用，疼痛立刻停止。
又一方：
用一只生小蛤蜊，剖开去皮，并将头足洗净，遍蘸雄黄末，将蛤蜊敷在患处，合住嘴巴含住，等到觉得腥闷难忍时，然后将口水吐出，牙虫随口水出来，再含再吐，直到疼痛停止、虫子排尽为止。
刺少商穴法：
穴位在手大拇指内侧，距离指甲边缘如韭菜叶宽度处，刺入约二分深，用手从手臂向针刺处推勒，出血后肿痛即消。如果病情严重，或者脓液已形成，必须针刺患处，否则无法治愈。
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) and Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) (each 0.5 qian), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) (processed by water flotation, 1 qian), Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) (1 qian).
Dry them by baking and grind into fine powder. Use 0.3 qian each time, insufflate into the affected area for self-healing.
(Heavy tongue and wooden tongue both belong to excessive Heart Fire.)
Use 1 qian of Coptidis Rhizoma (Chuanlian) powder, taken with Decoction of Juncus Effusus (Dengcao Tang). Two doses will show efficacy.
To treat heavy tongue swelling, heat an iron pot until red-hot, scrape off the rust. Grind into powder, mix with water, and hold in the mouth.
This condition occurs at the jaw hinge and gum bed, where nodules have formed, either on the left or right side, accompanied by pain at the bottom of the ear. Treatment should follow the meridians above, below, to the left, and to the right. If there is swelling, apply external medication; tooth loss must be strictly avoided, as it becomes incurable once teeth fall out.
This condition originates below the gum root, presenting with black spots, which is toxicity emanating from the Kidney Meridian. Initially use Huanglian Xiaodu San (Coptis Detoxification Powder), followed by medications that nourish Yin and descend Fire. Externally, grind Borax (Pengsha), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) together into a fine powder and apply to the affected area for cure.
This condition arises in the gum bed and is named "Zouma Yagan" (Running Horse Gum Gangrene). Tooth loss is most taboo; if teeth fall out, it is incurable. Treat according to the aforementioned meridian theory, using Yulong San (Jade Dragon Powder) or Bingpeng San internally and externally.
Yaxie refers to bleeding from the gum roots.
Decoct Cassiae Semen (Juemingzi) in water, rinse the mouth several times for cure.
Another prescription:
Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen) and Alum (Kufan), ground into equal parts powder, apply to teeth for effect.
For unbearable severe toothache:
Saltpeter (Huoxiao), Borax (Pengsha), and Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian), ground together into powder, apply to the affected area for cure.
Prescription for Toothache:
Select high-quality Zhenqinghua Rougui (True Clear Flower Cinnamon Twig), cut into thin slices. Use 0.1 qian each time, chew and apply to the affected area for immediate pain relief. If the cinnamon is of poor quality, chewing it may increase pain.
Yudai Gao (Jade Belt Plaster)
Raw Longgu (Fossilized Bones) (2 liang), Gongfen (Lead White) (1.5 liang), top-grade Bingpian (Borneol) (2.5 qian), Moschus (Shexiang) (2.5 qian), Jing Huangchan (Clean Cicada Slough) (2 liang), Zhen Pengsha (Real Borax) (2.5 qian), Chen Huangla (Aged Beeswax).
Grind the first five ingredients into fine powder and mix evenly for later use. First, melt the beeswax over hot water, add the medicinal powder, and stir well. Pour the mixture onto cotton paper, spread evenly with a bamboo knife, cut into strips one finger-width wide and one inch long, store in a porcelain jar, seal tightly, and keep for use.
Wonderful Prescription for Various Toothaches:
Strong overnight tea, used to rinse the mouth every morning, prevents dental problems forever.
Jinxing Zhuixian Dan (Venus Star Saliva-Chasing Pill)
Treats wind-fire toothache and also addresses worm-related issues.
Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) (1 liang), Zanthoxyli Pericarpium (Chuanjiao) (5 qian), Asari Radix (Xixin) (1 liang), Camphora (Zhangnao) (1 liang).
Grind into fine powder, place in a copper pot, cover with a porcelain bowl, and refine using mild and strong fire to collect the frost/sublimation for use.
Kugua Shuang (Bitter Melon Frost)
Saltpeter (Huoxiao) (2.5 qian), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) (5 qian), Arecae Semen Testa (Binglangyi) (1 liang, black).
Grind into powder. Take one large bitter melon, cut off a piece near the stem, insert the medicine inside, hang in a ventilated place until white frost forms on the skin. Collect and store for use.
Prescription for Tooth Pain:
Autumn Luffae Caulis (Qiusi Gua Teng) (1 liang), Sophorae Flos (Huaihua) (3 qian), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) (1.5 qian), Asari Radix (Xixin) (8 fen).
Decoct in clean water to make a concentrated decoction, hold in the mouth and rinse 4-5 times for efficacy.
Wonderful and Extremely Effective Prescription for Toothache:
Take a small teacup of good Fenjiu (Fen Wine), add a pinch of Sichuan Pepper (Huajiao), ignite with fire. When half burned, blow out the fire, wait a moment, then hold the hot liquid in the mouth and spit it out immediately. The affliction heals instantly.
Prescription for Gum Bleeding:
Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdi) (3 qian), Scrophulariae Radix (Yuanshen/Xuanshen) (3 qian), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) (1.5 qian), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) (1.5 qian), Ligustri Lucidi Fructus (Nvzhenzi) (3 qian), Moutan Cortex (Danpi) (1.5 qian), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie) (1 qian), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhimu) (1.5 qian), Phellodendri Cortex prepared with salt (Yanbai) (1.5 qian), Drynariae Rhizoma (Suibu) (2.5 qian), Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao) (1.5 qian), Glehniae Radix (Shashen) (3 qian), Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Shenggan) (1 qian).
If bleeding is due to Yin deficiency with hyperactive Fire, remove Shashen and Huangbai from the formula, add Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root) 5 qian, Dendrobii Caulis (Chahuye/Shihu) 1.5 qian, and Panax Notoginseng/Asiatic Ginseng (Yangshen) 2 qian. Take orally for immediate effect.
Prescription for Gum Bleeding with Headache and Tidal Fever:
Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdi) (3.5 qian), Scrophulariae Radix (Yuanshen) (3 qian), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong) (1.5 qian), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao) (1.5 qian), Ligustri Lucidi Fructus (Nvzhenzi) (3 qian), Moutan Cortex (Danpi) (1.5 qian), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie) (1 qian), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhimu) (1.5 qian), Phellodendri Cortex prepared with salt (Yanbai) (0.5 qian), Glehniae Radix (Beishashen) (3.5 qian), Stellariae Radix (Yinchaihu) (8 fen), Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao) (1.5 qian), Drynariae Rhizoma (Suibu) (1.5 qian), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) (2.5 qian), Arctii Fructus (Niubangzi) (1.5 qian), Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Shenggan) (1 qian).
Decoct in water and take orally for efficacy.
Pain from Worm Teeth:
Decoct Wubeizi (Chinese Gallnut) into a concentrated juice, rinse the mouth several times; the worms die immediately.
Prescription for Worm Teeth:
Peel a live bullfrog, hold it in the affected area. Prepare a large bowl of clear water on the table. After a while, when saliva flows out, spit it into the bowl. Observe the worms in the water; their sizes are visible. Repeat this several times to eliminate the problem permanently.
Treatment for Teeth Growing Several Cun Long:
Process real Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome) with human milk by steaming, and take orally for cure.
Treatment for Teeth Growing Extra Length:
Holding raw Shengdi (Rehmannia Root) in the mouth is best.
Treatment for Running Horse Gangrene (Zouma Gan):
This condition features bad breath, rotting teeth with flowing saliva, and ulceration under the lips resembling goat whiskers.
Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Shengdahuang) (3 qian), Caryophylli Flos (Dingxiang) (10 pieces), Phaseoli Radiatus (Lvdou) (1 qian).
Grind into powder, apply with hot vinegar to the soles of both feet for best effect. If combined with insufflation of real Zhenzhu (Pearl Powder), it is even better.
Treatment for Running Horse Gangrene:
Renzhongbai (Calculus Humanus) (2 liang, red), Catha Edulis/Catechu (Ercha) (1 liang), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) (6 qian), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Nanbohe) (6 qian), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) (6 qian), Bingpian (Borneol) (3 qian).
Grind into powder. First rinse the mouth with warm water, then insufflate the medicine into the affected area several times. Internally, take Yin Chai Hu (Stellariae Radix), Lu Hui (Aloe), Hu Huang Lian (Picrorhizae Rhizoma), Chuan Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma), fried Niu Bang Zi (Arctii Fructus), Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix), Shan Zhi Zi (Gardeniae Fructus), Shu Shi Gao (Calcined Gypsum), Bo He (Mint), Ling Yang Jiao (Saiga Antelope Horn), each 0.5 qian. Decoct in two cups of water and take orally.
Wonderful Prescription for Gum Gangrene:
Hold salty horse kidney (Xian Mashenzi) with water in the mouth, then spit it out. Drink one cup of water afterwards for cure.
Brushing Gums and Removing Bad Breath:
Da Huang (Rhubarb) (5 qian), Gan Du (likely Gan Song or similar), Xiang Fu (Cyperi Rhizoma, de-haired, wine-processed), Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Sheng Shi Gao (Raw Gypsum) (each 5 qian), Zhen Chuan Jiao (Sichuan Pepper), Lv Dou (Mung Bean) (each 49 grains), Xi Xin (Asari Radix) (3 qian), Qing Guo He (Betel Nut Husk) (18 pits), Huai Yan (Huai Salt) (8 liang, fired, sifted through silk), Ya Hui (Tooth Ash) (3 liang, water-flown, sun-dried).
Grind into fine powder, sift through silk, store in a jar. Brush teeth with it every early morning; not only will dental diseases be prevented forever, but teeth will become white as jade.
Wonderful Prescription for Extracting Teeth:
Take a live carp weighing 10 liang, put 1 qian of Realgar (Pi) inside its stomach. Place it in a draft-free area without cats or dogs. After seven days, the fish body turns white. Brush off the scales with a chicken feather, collect the substance into a plaster. Whenever encountering a diseased tooth, apply a small amount of this plaster to the tooth for a moment, and the tooth will fall out.
Loose Teeth:
Bury white horse meat underground until insects grow. Remove, burn to ash, and apply to the tooth to cause it to fall out.
Miraculous Prescription for Toothache:
Decoct Wax Plum Blossom (Lameihua) in water and hold in the mouth for cure.
Another Prescription:
Simmer lemon peel in black vinegar and hold in the mouth for cure.
Empirical Divine Prescription for Various Toothaches:
Kuan Jin Teng (Marsdeniae Vine) (8 fen, sliced thin), Egg with shell (1 piece).
Cook in two large bowls of mountain spring water for several days until boiling. Remove the eggshell, continue cooking until the egg is very hard. Discard the egg and vine, and consume the decoction; pain stops immediately.
Another Prescription:
Take one small live clam, cut open, remove the skin, wash the head and feet thoroughly. Coat generously with Xiong Huang (Realgar) powder. Apply the clam to the affected area, close the mouth, and hold. When the smell becomes nauseatingly pungent, spit out the saliva. The toothworms come out with the saliva. Repeat holding and spitting until the pain stops and all worms are expelled.

Method of Needling Shaoshang Acupoint:
The acupoint is located on the medial side of the thumb, at a distance from the nail edge equivalent to the width of a leek leaf. Needle to a depth of approximately 2 fen. Press from the arm towards the needling site to induce bleeding; swelling and pain will subside. In severe cases, or when pus has formed, it is necessary to needle the affected local area directly, otherwise it is incurable.
