Fried and powdered *Radix Allii Tuberosi* (Jiu Zi, 韭菜子), one liang. Take two qian with wine each time. It also treats leukorrhea-like turbid urine (Bai Zhuo) and night sweats (Dao Han).
Select one male pig stomach, clean it thoroughly. Add half a jin of *Cortex Eucommiae* (Duzhong, 杜仲), sew it shut with thread, boil until soft, then remove the herbs. Consume both the stomach and the broth to achieve a cure. This prescription is also highly effective for treating lower back pain.
Wash black soybeans (*Soyae Semen Nigrum*, Heidou) thoroughly and grind them into tofu slurry. Boil in a pot until a skin forms on the surface. Eat one sheet per meal, washed down with hot black soybean milk. Drinking black soybean milk every morning provides great tonification and can prevent consumption (Lao Bing).
Take five chicken eggs. Gently crack the shells all around without damaging the inner membrane. Soak them in child's urine (Tong Bian, 童便) for a day and a night. Remove them, cook thoroughly by gradually heating in cold water, and eat. Two doses result in a cure. Eating two or three eggs every morning provides great tonification.
Seven lotus seeds (*Nelumbinis Semen*, Lianzi), seven black dates (*Ziziphi Jujubae Fructus*, Heizao), one he of floating wheat (*Frumentum Levissimum*, Fumai), and one he of horse feed beans (*Soyae Semen Nigrum*, Maliaodou). Decoct with one large bowl of water until reduced to eight-tenths. Take this dose. Three courses lead to complete recovery.
Take one sheet of bamboo-fiber paper, cut into four strips, and roll them like firecrackers. Seal one end with paste. Melt one liang of yellow beeswax (*Cera Flava*, Huangla) in an iron pot. Pour the melted wax evenly around the outside of the paper tube, ensuring no wax enters the inside. Have the patient lie supine, place the wax tube over the umbilicus (Shenque, CV8), and use a dough ring to secure the base of the tube to prevent tipping or leakage. Ignite the top of the tube and burn until the flame reaches the dough ring, then cut it off. Replace with a new tube and continue burning. Observe if yellow fluid resembling egg white flows from the umbilicus; if so, remove the tube. For mild cases, fumigate with three to five tubes; for severe cases, fourteen, twenty-one, or forty-nine tubes. The treatment should continue until all yellow fluid is expelled, yielding miraculous results.
On a clear, sunny morning, ensure that chickens, dogs, or women do not witness the preparation. Take a handful of peach roots (*Persicae Radix*, Taogen) growing eastward, with a thickness similar to chopsticks or hairpins. Cut finely. Decoct with one large sheng of water and take orally on an empty stomach. Within three to five days after administration, the jaundice will gradually dissipate like thin clouds, taking one hundred days to fully resolve. During episodes of jaundice, drinking a cup of clear wine occasionally may help disperse the jaundice in the eyes; otherwise, dispersion is slow. Avoid consuming hot-natured noodles, pork, fish, and other such foods.
