大蒜（捣烂） 路上土
新汲水一盏，调服或灌立止。
治中暑口渴饮水身热头晕发昏者。
石膏（五钱 ） 知母（二钱五分） 生甘草 粳米（一撮）
水煎服。病重者加倍用。
此症夏天最多。肚腹急痛，唇指青黑者。
用透明生白矾研末。每服二钱。用冷水热水各半杯，调服即愈。
仁人须预带明矾，或在舟车长途或黑夜之际，应手奏功。再于爪甲肉际臂腿弯等处，刺
出黑血为要。切忌姜汤茶叶汤大荤米面，直待甚饿吐泻三个时辰方可食粥。此症须认明，若
阴症误视不效。
患痧大抵腹痛，亦有并不痛者。但昏沉胀闷，莫可形状，医未能识者。急取田中生芋艿
洗净嚼之，如非痧则生涩难食，若是痧则甘美异常。再食一枚，脱然起矣。屡验。腹痛者同
治。
白明矾（一分） 胡椒（二分） 芒硝（一分）
共为细末，盐醋调和。摊男左女右手心紧合阴处，盖暖出汗即愈。其效如神。
（三钱研细）
滚烧酒送下即愈。预将生黄豆令病患嚼之，不知豆者是。

研极细末。热酒一钟，搅匀澄清顿服。
寒火相结小腹疼痛方（俗名阴寒此方屡验）
枯白矾（枣子大一块） 带须葱白（三段） 胡椒（按病患岁数一岁一粒）
用男孩儿吃之乳，合一处共捣为丸，安放肚脐上，一炷香时痛即止。 忌用生冷要紧。

治疗中暑导致口渴饮水、身体发热、头晕发昏的症状。

Instruct the patient to stand upright facing a wall. One person dips their hand in warm water and slaps the popliteal fossa (back of the knee) with the back of the hand dozens of times. If blue-red veins protrude, immediately prick them with a needle to release black blood; the symptoms will stop immediately.
Formula for Treating Huoluan (Cholera-like Disease): Use broomcorn millet panicles that are still intact. If left too long, they will lose their panicles.
Take one handful of the panicles of sorghum brooms, including the branch tips, decoct in water, and take warm; it will cure immediately.
Another Formula:
Agastache Folium (Huoxiang Ye) and Exocarpium Citri Reticulatae (Guang Chenpi) (each 5 qian).
Add two zhong of water, decoct to one zhong, take warm; it will cure immediately.
Garlic (mashed) and soil from the road.
Take one zhan of newly drawn water, mix and take or administer by force-feeding; it will stop immediately.
For treating heatstroke manifesting as thirst with drinking, body fever, dizziness, and fainting.
Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) (5 qian), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhimu) (2.5 qian), Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Sheng Gancao), and Oryza Sativa (Jingmi) (a pinch).
Decoct in water and take. For severe cases, double the dosage.
Crushed juice of Lablab Leaf (Bian Dou Ye) drunk; it will cure immediately.
This condition is most common in summer. It manifests as acute abdominal pain, with lips and fingers turning cyanotic/black.
Use transparent raw Alum (Bai Fan), grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Mix with half a cup of cold water and half a cup of hot water, stir and take; it will cure.
Benevolent people should carry Alum in advance. Whether on long boat/carriage journeys or in the dark, it works promptly. Additionally, pricking the nail beds, arm creases, and leg bends to release black blood is crucial. Strictly avoid ginger soup, tea soup, heavy meats, rice, and wheat noodles. Only after feeling very hungry and after vomiting/diarrhea have persisted for three shichen (6 hours) can one eat congee. This condition must be clearly identified; if it is a Yin syndrome, this method will be ineffective.
Patients with Sha disease (sand/heat stroke toxin) mostly have abdominal pain, though some do not. They suffer from lethargy, distension, and oppression, indescribable in nature, often unrecognized by doctors. Immediately take taro grown in fields, wash clean, and chew. If not Sha disease, it tastes raw and astringent; if it is Sha disease, it tastes exceptionally sweet. Eat another piece, and the illness will resolve suddenly. Tested repeatedly with success. Those with abdominal pain are treated similarly.
White Alum (1 fen), Piper Longum (Hu Jiao) (2 fen), Mirabilite (Mang Xiao) (1 fen).
Grind all into fine powder, mix with salt and vinegar. Spread on the palm of the male's left hand or female's right hand, press tightly against the yin area, cover to keep warm until sweating occurs; then it cures. The effect is miraculous.
(3 qian ground fine).
Swallow with boiling strong liquor; it cures immediately. Have the patient chew raw soybeans beforehand; those who cannot taste the bean flavor have Sha disease.
Heart pain, lower abdominal pain, cyanosis of face and fingers indicates Yin Syndrome.
"Zuo KT Long" refers to White Pigeon Droppings (one large scoop).
Grind into extremely fine powder. Take with one zhong of hot wine, stir well, let settle, and drink at once.
Formula for Lower Abdominal Pain due to Cold-Fire Binding (Commonly known as Yin-Cold, this formula is frequently effective):
Withered Alum (piece the size of a jujube), Scallion White with roots (three segments), Piper Longum (Hu Jiao) (one grain per year of age).
Mix with breast milk from a boy, pound together into pills, place on the umbilicus. After burning one incense stick's time, the pain stops. Avoid cold/raw foods; this is critical.
