Commentary states: The Lower Jiao (Lower Burner) is like a ditch; its Qi originates from the lower epigastrium of the Stomach, branches off into the Ileum, and pours into the Bladder. Its primary function is to expel waste without retaining essence, thereby facilitating conduction and transformation. If the Qi of the Lower Jiao is deficient and cold, it fails to secure body fluids, resulting in unceasing diarrhea and urinary incontinence, pain in the hypogastrium, and aversion to hearing human speech. The treatment should employ warming methods.
