论曰心气下通胞络，妊妇临产，心气和平，则胞络滑利，若恐怖惊忧，则心气不能下通
胞络，故令难产，凡临产切忌惊忧，傍人挥霍，及胎未逼迫，先用气力之类，根据此将护，必
免难产之厄。

论述说：心气向下通达于胞络（子宫及其脉络），孕妇临产时，若心气平和，则胞络滑利通畅；如果遭遇恐怖、惊吓或忧愁，就会导致心气无法向下通达胞络，从而引起难产。因此，凡是临近分娩，最忌讳受到惊吓和忧虑，旁人不要喧哗躁动，以及在胎儿尚未压迫产道之前，产妇不要过早用力等情形。若能依据这些原则进行护理，必定能避免难产的灾难。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩，或者生产不顺利、各种方法都无法使胎儿安定的情况。立生酥葵膏方：
酥（一斤） 秋葵子（一升） 白蜜（半斤） 滑石（一两半） 瞿麦（一两） 大豆黄卷（二两）
以上六味药，用清酒一升，将葵子细细研磨，放入酥和蜜中，用微火熬煮至熔化，然后加入其他药物。用慢火煎煮，经常保持沸腾如鱼眼泡状，煎至约半升，用新棉过滤，储存在瓷器中。每次服用半匙，逐渐增加至一匙。服用过多恐怕会引起呕吐逆气。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩，或生产不顺理，百方无效者。立生甘草散方：
甘草（炙后锉碎一两） 黄芩（去除黑心部分） 大豆黄卷（炒制） 干姜（炮制） 桂枝（去除粗皮） 吴茱萸（汤洗去涎）
以上八味药，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用三钱匕，用温酒调服。若在预产期前一个月，每日频繁服用。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩，养胎并易于生产。大黄丸方：
大黄（锉碎炒制二两） 枳实（去除瓤麸炒） 芍药（各一两） 川芎（三分） 干姜（炮制） 浓朴（去除粗皮生姜汁炙透） 吴茱萸（汤洗去涎）
以上九味药，捣碎过筛制成末，炼蜜调和捣匀，制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用两丸，用温酒送下，不拘时间。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩，滑胎易产。瞿麦汤方：
瞿麦（去除根锉碎） 榆白皮（锉碎） 木通（锉碎，各二两） 冬葵子（拣选干净微炒一合） 滑石（一两）
以上五味药，粗捣筛过。每次服用四钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至七分，去渣，空腹温服。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩。葵子汤方：
冬葵子（炒一合） 滑石（碎） 瞿麦（去除根锉碎，各一两） 丹参（锉碎一两半）
以上四味药，粗捣筛过。每次服用四钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至八分，去渣，加入牛酥和白蜜各半合，再煎至六分。饭前温服。入月（临近预产期）预先服用。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩，滑胎。当归散方：
当归（切焙一两） 麻子仁（一合） 吴茱萸（汤洗去涎焙干，再与大豆同炒香） 干姜（炮制） 糯米（各一合）
以上十味药。捣碎过筛制成散剂，研细。每次服用二钱匕，空腹用温酒调服，逐渐增加至三钱匕。若想制成丸剂，则用炼蜜和丸，梧桐子大小。温酒送下二十丸。
治疗妊娠多日未能分娩。大豆黄卷散方：
大豆黄卷（拣选微炒） 麻子仁 吴茱萸（汤洗去涎焙干炒，各半两） 甘草（炙） 干姜（炮制）
以上八味药，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用二钱匕，用温酒调服，不拘时间。

以上一味药，烧铜弩牙至通红，投入半盏食醋中，临产时服用。
Commentary states: The Heart Qi (vital energy of the heart) descends to connect with the Bao Luo (uterine collaterals). When a pregnant woman is near delivery, if her Heart Qi is peaceful and harmonious, the Bao Luo will be smooth and unobstructed. However, if she experiences terror, fright, or sorrow, the Heart Qi cannot descend to connect with the Bao Luo, thus causing difficult labor. Therefore, when approaching delivery, one must strictly avoid fright and worry; bystanders should not make noise or act restlessly; and the mother should not exert force prematurely before the fetus presses against the birth canal. If care is taken according to these principles, the disaster of difficult labor can surely be avoided.

Take in advance once entering the ninth month.
