论曰妊娠之人，将护为难，若触冒风寒，饮食生冷，及喜怒劳动之过，悉致胎动。胎动
则气血失度，故下血也。古方又云，母有宿疾，子脏为风冷所乘者，亦令胎动下血，皆失将

论述说：怀孕的妇女，调养护理很难做到周全。如果触犯冒受风寒，饮食生冷食物，以及情绪喜怒过度、劳累过度的过失，都会导致胎动不安。胎动不安则气血运行失去常度，所以出现阴道下血。古方又说，母亲有旧疾，子宫（子脏）被风冷邪气侵袭的，也会引起胎动下血，这都是因为失于调养护理所导致的。
治疗妊娠期间胎动腹痛，阴道下血伴晕厥闷乱。阿胶汤方

Commentary states: For pregnant women, proper care and nursing are difficult to maintain. If they are exposed to wind-cold, consume raw or cold foods, or suffer from excesses in emotions (joy or anger) and physical labor, all these factors can lead to fetal movement instability. When the fetus moves restlessly, the Qi and blood lose their normal regulation, resulting in vaginal bleeding. Ancient formulas also state that if the mother has a pre-existing condition, and the uterus (Zi Zang) is invaded by wind-cold pathogenic factors, it will also cause fetal movement instability and bleeding; all of these are caused by a lack of proper care.

Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and baked), Ejiao (Jiaojiao, Gelatinum Corii Asini, honey-roasted and baked), Duzhong (Eucommiae Cortex, coarse skin removed, honey-roasted, each 2 liang), Aiye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, one handful), Shu Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata).
The above eight herbs are coarsely crushed and sifted. Each dose consists of 5 qianbi, decocted with one and a half zhan of water and one split jujube until reduced to one zhan. Strain the dregs and take warm. Take at any time.

Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, sliced and baked), Ejiao (Jiaojiao, Gelatinum Corii Asini), Puhuang (Typhae Pollen), Shu Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, baked, each 3 fen), Longgu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi et Scapulae), Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Niujiao (Corvis Tauri Cornu, burnt to ash, each 0.5 liang).
The above seven herbs are pounded and sifted into a powder. Each dose consists of 2 qianbi, taken with Ai Ye Tang (decoction of Artemisiae Argyi Folium) or rice drink.
