论述说：肌肉跳动，称为微风。这是因为邪气搏结于分肉之间，卫气运行不畅，阳气在体内鼓动，所以导致肌肉跳动。然而风邪侵入经脉，具有善行数变的特性，也会引起口眼歪斜、肢体抽搐偏瘫的疾病。
治疗八风及十二痹证，腿脚无力、半身不遂，历节疼痛，肌肉干枯粗糙，皮肤跳动，或者筋脉松弛或拘急疼痛，病位不固定，突然发作时目眩，心神失守、恍惚，胡言乱语、错乱颠倒，身上生出疮疡，面部浮肿起疹，或者有黄色汁液流出，互相沾染浸渍，或者干燥或者潮湿，面色赤白青黑不定，角弓反张，忽冷忽热。用八风散方：
麻黄（去除根和节）一斤，白术一斤，栝蒌根（去除泥土），甘草（炙），栾荆，天雄（炮裂，去皮和脐），芦头二斤，茵芋，大黄（锉碎炒制半斤），细辛，砂（研磨），丹参各六两，山茱萸。
以上二十五味药，捣碎过筛成细散。用酒送服二钱匕，每日一次。三十日后改为每日两次，五十日见效，百日痊愈，一年完全恢复健康。
治疗风虚引起的肌肉跳动，手足颤抖，虎骨丸方：
虎胫骨（酥炙），松节（锉碎，酒炒），天麻，牛膝（酒浸后切片焙干），赤箭，海桐皮（炒），独活（去芦头焙干），仙灵脾，甜瓜子。
以上十六味药，先将十五味药捣碎过筛成细末，加入研碎的乳香，再次共同研磨均匀。用酒煮面糊，制成梧桐子大小的丸药。每次服用十五丸至二十丸，用荆芥汤或茶、酒送服均可，不限时间。

Discourse states: Muscle twitching is called "slight wind" (Wei Feng). This occurs because pathogenic factors contend with the intermuscular spaces, causing Wei Qi (Defensive Qi) to be obstructed and Yang Qi to surge internally, thus resulting in muscle twitching. However, when wind pathogens enter the meridians, they are characterized by rapid movement and frequent changes, and can also cause diseases such as facial paralysis (Kou Yan Pian Dou) and hemiplegia.
Treatment for Eight Winds and Twelve Bi syndromes, leg weakness, hemiplegia, joint pain (Li Jie), dry and rough muscles, skin twitching, or tendons that are either flaccid or spasmodic and painful, with lesions not fixed in one location; sudden onset of vertigo, loss of heart spirit (Shi Xin) with confusion, delirious speech and errors; sores arising on the body, swelling and rashes on the face, or exudation of yellow fluid that spreads and stains; conditions that are either dry or damp, with complexion varying unpredictably between red, white, green, and black; opisthotonos; alternating chills and fever.
