以水二石五斗，煮取一大斗半，去滓，澄滤令净，取好醇酒五升和煎，令如饧，每服一合，
消息为度，不知则加之。
又方 治月经不通结瘕，腹大如瓮，短气欲死方∶
虎杖根（百斤，去头，去土，曝干切） 土瓜根 牛膝（各取汁二斗）
上三味 咀，以水一斛浸虎杖根一宿，明旦煎取二斗，纳土瓜、牛膝汁，搅令调和，煎

以上十九味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，每天空腹时以酒送服七丸，若效果不明显则增加剂量，每日服用三次。

以上二十四味药切碎，用四斗酒分装于两个瓮中浸泡七天，合并到一个瓮中，搅拌使其调和，再分成四个瓮盛放。初次服用二合，每日两次，逐渐加量至三四合。
治疗腹内积聚物，虚胀伴有肠鸣音如雷声，四肢沉重，月经不通畅，也治疗男性疾病的方剂。取高地的虎杖根细细锉碎二斛，用水二石五斗，煮取一大斗半的药液，去除药渣，澄清过滤使药液洁净，取优质醇酒五升与药液混合煎煮，直至变成像饴糖一样的稠状，每次服用一合，根据病情调整剂量，若无效则增加用量。
另一个方剂：治疗月经不通畅结成瘕块，腹部大如瓮，呼吸短促近乎死亡的方剂：

The above nineteen ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a wutong seed. Take seven pills orally with wine on an empty stomach daily. If the effect is insufficient, increase the dosage; administer three times a day.

The above twenty-four ingredients are chopped, soaked in four dou of wine divided into two urns for seven days. Combine the contents into one urn, stir to mix well, then divide into four urns. Initially take 2 he, twice a day, gradually increasing to 3-4 he.
Formula for treating intra-abdominal accumulations, false distension with borborygmus (rumbling sounds like thunder), heaviness in the four limbs, and amenorrhea; also treats male diseases. Take highland *Huzhang Gen* (Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix), finely cut, 2 hu. Boil in 2.5 shi of water until reduced to 1.5 dou. Remove dregs, clarify and filter until clean.
