治胸膈痰结唾如胶，不下食者方。
旋复花 细辛 前胡 茯苓 甘草（各二两） 生姜（八两） 桂心（四两） 半夏（一

上九味 咀，以水九升，煮取三升，去滓，分三服。
治胸中积聚痰饮，饮食减少，胃气不足，咳逆呕吐方。
姜汁（七分） 川椒（三合） 桂心 附子 甘草（各一两） 橘皮 桔梗 茯苓（各
二两）
半夏（三两）
上九味 咀，以水九升，煮取二升半，去滓纳姜汁，煮取二升，分三服，服三剂止。
若饮服大散诸五石丸，必先服此汤，及进黄 丸，佳。（一方不用甘草。
治痰冷 气呕沫，胸满短气，头痛，饮食不消化方。
生姜（八两） 附子（四两，生用四破）
上二味 咀，以水八升，煮取二升，分四服。亦主卒风。
治心上结痰饮实寒冷心闷方。
瓜丁（二十八枚） 赤小豆（二七枚） 人参 甘草（各一分）
上四味治，下筛为末，酒服方寸匕，日二。亦治诸黄。
治胸中痰 方。
恒山（三两） 甘草 松萝（各一两） 瓜蒂（二十一枚）
上四味 咀，以水酒各二升半，煮取一升半，分三服。后渐减之，得快吐后，须服半
夏汤。（方见本卷前篇。）
治胸中痰积热皆除方。
松萝（二两） 乌梅 栀子（各十四枚） 恒山 甘草（各三两）
上五味 咀，以酒三升浸一宿，平旦以水三升，煮取一升半，去滓，顿服之。亦可分
二服。一服得快吐，即止。
治疗胸膈部痰浊凝结、唾液粘稠如胶、无法进食的方剂。

以上九味药，切碎，用水九升，煎煮至二升半，滤去药渣后加入姜汁，再煎煮至二升，分三次服用，连服三剂后症状停止。
如果同时服用大散及各类五石丸，必须先服用此汤，随后进服黄[丹]丸，效果更佳。（另一版本不使用甘草。）
治疗因痰冷引起的呃逆、呕吐涎沫、胸部胀满、呼吸短促、头痛、饮食不消化的方剂。
生姜（八两） 附子（四两，生用并破开四块）
以上两味药，切碎，用水八升，煎煮至二升，分四次服用。此方也主治突发中风。
治疗心部结聚痰饮、实邪寒冷导致的心胸闷痛的方剂。
瓜丁（二十八枚） 赤小豆（十四枚） 人参 甘草（各一分）
以上四味药处理后，筛成粉末，用酒送服一方寸匕大小的药量，每日两次。此方也治疗各种黄疸病。
治疗胸中痰浊的方剂。
恒山（三两） 甘草 松萝（各一两） 瓜蒂（二十一枚）
以上四味药，切碎，用水和酒各二升半，煎煮至一升半，分三次服用。之后逐渐减量，在引起剧烈呕吐后，必须服用半夏汤。（该方见本卷前面的篇章。）
治疗清除胸中痰积热邪的方剂。
松萝（二两） 乌梅 栀子（各十四枚） 恒山 甘草（各三两）
以上五味药，切碎，用三升酒浸泡一夜，清晨再加水三升，煎煮至一升半，滤去药渣，一次性服下。也可以分两次服用。一次服药若能引起剧烈呕吐，即停止服用。
Formula for treating phlegm accumulation in the chest and diaphragm with saliva thick as glue, preventing food intake.
*Sinuo Hua* (Inulae Flos), *Xixin* (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), *Qianhu* (Peucedani Radix), *Fuling* (Poria), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 2 liang); *Shengjiang* (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) (8 liang); *Guixin* (Cinnamomi Ramulus); *Banxia* (Pinelliae Rhizoma) (1 sheng); *Wutou* (Aconiti Radix) (3 pieces).
The above nine ingredients are chopped, boiled in 9 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng, strained, and divided into three doses.
Formula for treating phlegm-fluid retention accumulating in the chest, decreased appetite, insufficient stomach qi, cough with counterflow qi, and vomiting.
*Jiangzhi* (Zingiberis Juice) (7 fen); *Chuanjiao* (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) (3 he); *Guixin* (Cinnamomi Ramulus), *Fuzi* (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1 liang); *Juapi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), *Jiegeng* (Platycodonis Radix), *Fuling* (Poria) (each 2 liang); *Banxia* (Pinelliae Rhizoma) (3 liang).
The above nine ingredients are chopped, boiled in 9 sheng of water until reduced to 2.5 sheng, strained, then *Jiangzhi* (Zingiberis Juice) is added, and boiled again until reduced to 2 sheng. Divide into three doses. Take three courses of treatment to stop symptoms.
If taking *Dasan* or various Five-Stone Pills, this decoction must be taken first, followed by *Huang* [Dan] Pill, which is optimal. (Another version does not use *Gancao*).
Formula for treating hiccups and vomiting of frothy saliva due to cold-phlegm, chest fullness, shortness of breath, headache, and indigestion.
*Shengjiang* (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) (8 liang); *Fuzi* (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) (4 liang, raw, broken into four pieces).
The above two ingredients are chopped, boiled in 8 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng, and divided into four doses. It also treats sudden wind-stroke.
Formula for treating phlegm-fluid retention knotting at the heart, causing chest oppression due to excess cold.
*Guding* (Melonis Semen Preparatum? Note: Context suggests a specific preparation or variant, literal "Melon Seed") (28 pieces); *Chixiaodou* (Vigna umbellata Seed) (14 pieces); *Renshen* (Panacis Ginseng Radix), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1 fen).
The above four ingredients are processed, sifted into powder, taken with wine in a dose of one fangcun bi, twice daily. It also treats various types of jaundice.
Formula for treating phlegm turbidity in the chest.
*Hengshan* (Dichroae Radix) (3 liang); *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), *Songluo* (Usnea) (each 1 liang); *Gua Di* (Momordicae Fructus) (21 pieces).
The above four ingredients are chopped, boiled in 2.5 sheng of water and 2.5 sheng of wine until reduced to 1.5 sheng, and divided into three doses. Gradually reduce the dosage later. After inducing vigorous emesis, *Banxia Tang* (Pinellia Decoction) must be taken. (See formula in the previous section of this volume.)
Formula for clearing heat from phlegm accumulation in the chest.
*Songluo* (Usnea) (2 liang); *Wumei* (Mume Fructus), *Zhizi* (Gardeniae Fructus) (each 14 pieces); *Hengshan* (Dichroae Radix), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 3 liang).
The above five ingredients are chopped, soaked in 3 sheng of wine overnight. At dawn, add 3 sheng of water, boil until reduced to 1.5 sheng, strain, and take in one dose. It can also be divided into two doses. If one dose induces vigorous emesis, stop immediately.
