Jade Dust (finely ground) *Ligusticum chuanxiong* (Chuanxiong), *Trichosanthes kirilowii* root (Tugua Gen), *Polygonatum odoratum* rhizome (Weirui), *Prunus persica* seed (Taoren), *Gastrodia elata* tuber (Baifuzi), *Angelica dahurica* root (Baizhi), *Benincasa hispida* seed (Donggua Ren), *Magnolia officinalis* bark (Mulan), *Magnolia biondii* flower bud (Xinyi) (each 1 liang); *Cuscuta chinensis* seed (Tusizi), *Ligusticum sinense* rhizome (Gabens), *Aucklandia lappa* root (Qingmuxiang), *Bombyx batryticatus* (Baijiangcan), *Angelica sinensis* root (Danggui), *Scutellaria baicalensis* root (Huangqin), *Agastache rugosa* herb (Huoxiang), *Asarum sieboldii* root (Xixin) (each 18 zhu); *Moschus* (Shexiang), *Saposhnikovia divaricata* root (Fangfeng) (each 0.5 liang); White eagle droppings (Yingshi Bai, 1 he); Pig pancreas (San ju, finely cut); Shu water flower (Shuishuihua, 1 he); White dog fat (Baiquan Zhi), Goose fat (Ezhi), Bear fat (Xiongzhi) (each 1 sheng).

Take the above twenty-eight ingredients. First, soak the pig, goose, dog, and bear fats in water, changing the water multiple times until all blood vessels and impurities are completely removed, then they can be used. Coarsely crush the herbs, steep them in one dou of clear wine overnight. On the next morning, tear open the raw pig and goose fats and place them into the mixture. Take a copper pot and place it on charcoal fire, simmer gently until evening when it is fully cooked. Filter through silk cloth and store in a porcelain vessel for facial application. Additionally, tie slices of processed Baizhi to a string; observe when the color turns yellow, indicating the ointment is ready. Take the pig pancreas, extract its juice from the medicinal wine infusion, and add this juice to the pot. Powder the Jade Dust, Shuishuihua, Yingshi Bai, and Shexiang, add them to the ointment, and stir thoroughly to mix evenly.

Take the above twenty-one ingredients, slice thinly, wrap in silk cloth, and steep overnight in pig pancreas juice. Before dawn, take six sheng of pig fat, heat gently over low fire using the "three up, three down" method (repeated heating and cooling), [until] the Baizhi color [changes].

Whenever preparing facial cream, one must first know the method of refining fat. In the twelfth month, purchase extremely fatty pig fat, soak in water for seven to eight days, changing the water daily. After boiling, submerge the clarified fat in water to cool. Refining goose and bear fat follows this same method.
