The *Qianjin Fang* (Thousand Golden Prescriptions) provides a formula for treating infantile genital sores and swelling.
Take the concentrated decoction of *Da Ye Lang Ya* (Radix Teucrii Scorodoniae, commonly referring to plants in the Euphorbiaceae family such as *Euphorbia pekinensis*) and wash the affected area with it.
Another prescription:
*Coptidis Rhizoma* (Huanglian) and *Plumbum Subacetatum* (Huafen, lead subacetate), used in equal parts.
Grind the above two ingredients into fine powder, mix them, and apply with fragrant balm oil; the condition will heal.
The *Beiji Qianjin Yaofang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold for Emergencies) offers a formula for treating infantile genital sores.
Burn human feces into ash and apply it to the sore; it will heal immediately. (This method is also found in *Qianjin Fang*.)
Another prescription:
Burn cat bones into ash and apply to the sore; it will heal immediately. (*Qianjin Fang* notes that dog bone ash can be used instead.)
Another prescription for treating sores appearing between the child's thighs connected to the scrotum, oozing fluid, starting with itching followed by pain, which heals spontaneously after five to ten days but recurs every twenty days within a month, persisting for years without healing:
Perform moxibustion on the sore. After a scab forms, scratch off the scab, wipe dry with cotton, apply honey to a cake-like substance, heat it until cooked, then spread maltose syrup on the cake and apply it as a hot compress to the affected area. Stop when it cools down. Repeat this process twice for healing. (This method is also found in *Qianjin Fang*.)
Another prescription for treating infantile genital swelling:
Take five sheng (a traditional unit of volume) of pig manure, boil it in water, wrap it in cloth, and apply it to the swollen area. (This method is also found in *Qianjin Fang*.)

Perform seven moxa cones at Dacun (LR1, Great Push) acupoint for healing. (This method is also found in *Qianjin Fang*.)

Crush the leaves and roots of turnip greens (*Brassica rapa var. parachinensis*) and apply them topically.
*Bie Tou Wan* (Softshell Turtle Head Pill) from *Beiji Qianjin Yaofang* treats persistent dysentery in infants and young children, where prolonged diarrhea leads to prolapsed rectum that does not heal, accompanied by abdominal coldness, anal pain, and inability to reduce the prolapse:
One dead softshell turtle head (roasted until charred), one small snake skin (roasted until charred), four liang of Magnetitum (Cishi), three liang of Cinnamon Twig Heart (Guixin).
Grind these four ingredients into powder, sift them, and make pills using honey, sized like soybeans. Children aged three to five should take five to ten pills per dose, three times a day. As the child grows older, adjust the dosage accordingly. (This method is also found in *Qianjin Fang*.)
Another prescription for treating infantile rectal prolapse:
Perform three moxa cones at the center of the whorl of hair on the vertex of the head; the prolapse will reduce immediately.
Another prescription:
Perform three moxa cones at Weicui (the tip of the coccyx or a specific point near the tailbone) for healing. (This method is also found in *Qianjin Fang*.)
Another prescription:
Perform three moxa cones at Shenque (CV8, Umbilicus) for healing. (*Qianjin Fang* notes to use "age-related moxa cones," meaning the number of cones corresponds to the child's age in years.)
*Gujin Luyan* provides a prescription for treating infantile rectal prolapse caused by chronic dysentery:
Five fen of Earth from the East Wall (Dongbitu), one softshell turtle head (roasted until charred), five fen of Five-Color Dragon Bone (Wuse Longgu), four fen of Serpylli Herba (Juanbai).
Grind these four ingredients into a powder, apply the powder to the affected area, and manually push the prolapse back inside; it will heal.
