苦参
依前生槐子煎不觉，可宜合后黄 十味散服之方。

【广济方】治疗痔疮下血的方子。
用蛇（不论多少）煎煮，直到蛇肉完全烂掉，滤去药渣，用汁液调和婆罗粥，加少许盐食用，效果显著，没有任何饮食禁忌。

以上六味药捣碎过筛，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，空腹时用酒送服二十丸，每日两次，不再增减剂量。（均出自第四卷）
【范汪方】治疗痔疮下血，黄连曲散方。
黄连（二两）、曲（一两）。
以上两味药捣碎过筛，用稀蜜调匀，饭前用温水送服五分匕的量，每日三次，若无效，增加至一方寸匕的量。
【集验方】治疗痔疮，[槐]皮丸方。
槐子（三两）、附子（炮制，二两）、当归（二两）、连翘（二两）、干地黄（五两）、干姜（二两）、矾石（二两，烧至汁液流尽）、续断、黄（各一两）、[槐]皮（一具，细切后熬至焦黑）。
以上十味药捣碎过筛，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，用温水送服十五丸，每日两次，可增至三十丸，也可主治[肠风/脏毒]，长期常用效果显著。（《肘后备急方》《文仲方》《删繁方》《千金方》《古今录验》相同）
【又方】
用生槐皮十两，削去黑皮，熟捣成泥，制成如弹子大小的丸剂，用绵布包裹纳入肛门内，效果显著。（与《备急千金要方》相同）
【又方】
用槐赤鸡一斤研成散剂，用温水送服一方寸匕的量。（《千金方》注：槐赤鸡即槐糯）
【千金方】治疗痔疮的神效方。
在七月七日多采集槐子，熟捣取汁，用多层绵布绞出汁液，盛放在铜器中，置于庭院高处门梁上晾晒，二十天以上煎炼成膏，取如鼠粪大小的药团纳入肛门内，每日三次，也可主治[肠风]及各种疮疡。（与《救急方》《崔氏方》《古今录验》相同）
【又方】
鲤鱼肠（两条，用火烤至香）。
以上一味药，用绵布包裹纳入肛门内，一顿饭的工夫虫子就会出来，鱼肠多次更换，用完所有鱼肠病即可痊愈，另一说法是坐上药后虫子会排出。（与《古今录验》相同）
【又方】
虎头骨（炙）、犀角。
以上两味药分别研成粉末，每次用量如鸡蛋大，用未经污染的猪脂调和，涂抹在疮口上即刻痊愈。（与《救急方》《深师方》相同，均出自第二十四卷）
【崔氏方】治疗痔疮方。
雀林草（一大把，粗切）。
以上一味药，用水两大升，煮取一升，一次性服完，三天后再做一剂服用，没有不愈的。
【又方】
取骆驼下巴下的毛，烧成灰，取半个鸡蛋大小的量，用酒调和一次性服下。（均出自第四卷）
【必效方】熨痔法，痔疮脱出或疼痛难忍的方子。
取枳实，在炭火灰烬中煨热，趁热熨烫患处，用尽七枚即可平复，复发时再熨，可永久根除。
【又方】
将麝香当门子印成的盐块混合，用手涂抹在痔疮头上，若让人帮忙涂抹也很好，疼痛难以忍受者，不超过两次即可永久痊愈。
【又方】
吃烤野猪肉，吃十顿即可痊愈，三方称此法奇效。
【又方】
取五月五日的苍耳子，阴干后研成粉末，用水送服三方寸匕的量，每日三次，痊愈后停止。
【又方】
将使用了二十年的旧针线袋口烧成灰，分次加水调和服用。
【又方：痔疮正发作疼痛】
用葱带须浓煮汤，倒入盆中坐浴浸泡，片刻后疼痛即可停止。
【又方】
用狸肉做羹食用，或做成肉脯食用，不超过三顿，没有不愈的。

取一颗肥大红枣，剥去红皮，取水银放在手掌中，用唾液研磨至极细腻，涂在枣瓤上，纳入肛门内即可痊愈。
【又方】
用蓼根叶捣汁，服用一升，一到两服即可痊愈。

姜屑（二两）。
以上一味药，用水三大合煮之，取一合，滤去药渣，温热时空腹服用，隔日再服。忌食猪肉、蒜等。

挖地深一尺，圆径四寸，用炭火烧至通红，移去火源，在坑口放上鱼簿（一种薄板或席子），取莨菪子一合放入坑中燃烧产生烟雾，痔疮患者坐在上面，用被子盖住使其出汗，在密室中进行，待烟尽后再放一合莨菪子继续熏蒸，避风如同发汗的方法一样，病即可痊愈。
【又方：治疗各种痔疮，以及下血不止导致身体虚弱消瘦者，服用无不有效的方子】
黄（二大两半，细锉后熬至黄色）、枳实（二大两半，细锉后熬至黄色）、黄矾石（一大两，用炭火烧经过一个时辰，期间多次翻转使其受热均匀，冷却后细筛去沙净）。
以上三味药，先将黄和枳实捣碎过筛，然后加入矾石再次捣匀，用蜂蜜和匀制成丸剂，空腹用酒送服二十丸，可增至三十丸，每日两次。忌食荞面、猪肉、蒜、鱼及劳累之事，只有长期服用半年到一年才能痊愈，疗效确切。
【又方：治疗痔疮】
鲤鱼肠（约半升）。
以上一味药挑选干净并保持新鲜，取一块宽约二尺、厚约二寸的木板，中间凿孔，深一寸半，圆形如酱盏口大小，将鱼肠铺在其中，撒上碎末好麝香，取两层或三层厚毡，中间开孔，大小与木板孔相当，铺在上面，虫排尽则停止。
【许仁则曰】此病有内痔和外痔之分，内痔只是排便时有血，外痔有所不同，外痔肛门下有孔，每次出血从孔中流出，不痛。
生槐子（一斗，在未坚硬时采摘）。
以上一味药捣碎，绞取汁液，日晒浓缩至稠状，取地胆晒干，捣碎过筛成散剂，与槐子煎膏制成丸剂，用温水送服十丸，每日两次，可增至三十丸，如桐子大小，同时将煎膏捻成如枣核大小的药条纳入肛门内，日夜三四次，也可以捣苦参，依照前述生槐子煎膏的方法制作，如果不方便，可以适宜配合后面的黄十味散服用。
【黄十味散方】
黄（五两）、苦参、玄参（各六两）、附子（炮制）、大黄（各三两）、干姜（二两）、[槐]皮（炙，二两）、黄连（各四两）、槐子（六合）、猪悬蹄甲（一具，炙）。
以上药物捣碎过筛成散剂，空腹用温水送服一方寸匕，每日两次，逐渐增加至两匕。忌食猪肉、冷水。（出自下卷）
[Guangji Formula] For treating hemorrhoids with bleeding.
Boil snakes (quantity unspecified) until the meat is completely decomposed, strain the residue, and mix the juice with Boluo porridge, adding a little salt to eat. It is highly effective, with no dietary restrictions.
[Another Formula: Huang Wan]
Huang (3 liang), Zhishi (Zhi, 3 liang), Wushe (Zhi), Danggui, Chishizhi (2 liang each), [Huai]pi (2 liang, Zhi).
Crush and sieve the above six ingredients, mix with honey to make pills the size of sophora seeds. Take 20 pills orally on an empty stomach with wine, twice daily. Do not adjust the dosage further. (All from Volume 4)
[Fan Wang's Formula] For treating hemorrhoids with bleeding, Huanglian Qu San.
Huanglian (2 liang), Qu (1 liang).
Crush and sieve the above two ingredients, mix with thin honey paste. Take 5 fen bi before meals with water, three times daily. If ineffective, increase to 1 fang cun bi.
[Jiyan Formula] For treating hemorrhoids, [Huai]pi Wan.
Huai zi (3 liang), Fuzi (Pao, 2 liang), Danggui (2 liang), Lianqiao (2 liang), Gadihuang (5 liang), Ganjiang (2 liang), Fanshi (2 liang, calcined until juices run out), Xuduan, Huang (1 liang each), [Huai]pi (1 piece, finely cut and roasted until charred).
Crush and sieve the above ten ingredients, mix with honey to make pills the size of sophora seeds. Take 15 pills with warm water, twice daily, increasing up to 30 pills if necessary. It can also treat intestinal wind/damp-heat, and long-term use is very effective. (Same as *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, *Wenzhong Fang*, *Shanfan Fang*, *Qianjin Fang*, *Gujin Lu Yan*)
[Another Formula]
Take 10 liang of fresh Huai pi, scrape off the black outer bark, pound thoroughly into a paste, and form into pills the size of marbles. Wrap in cotton cloth and insert into the anus. Highly effective. (Same as *Beiji Qianjin Yaofang*)

Grind 1 jin of Huaichi ji into powder. Take 1 fang cun bi with water. (*Qianjin Fang* notes: Huaichi ji refers to Huainuo).
*[Qianjin Fang]* Divine formula for treating hemorrhoids.
Harvest Huai zi abundantly on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. Pound thoroughly to extract juice, squeeze through multiple layers of cotton cloth, and store in a copper vessel. Place it high up on a door beam in the courtyard to sun-dry for over twenty days until it becomes a concentrated paste. Form pieces the size of mouse droppings and insert into the anus, three times daily. It can also treat intestinal wind and various sores. (Same as *Jiuji Fang*, *Cui Shi Fang*, *Gujin Lu Yan*)
[Another Formula]
Li yu chang (2 pieces, roasted until fragrant).
Wrap this single ingredient in cotton cloth and insert into the anus. Worms should exit within the time it takes to eat one meal. Replace the fish intestine repeatedly until all are used up, and the disease will heal. Another version says sitting on the medicine expels worms. (Same as *Gujin Lu Yan*)

Hu tou gu (Zhi), Xi jiao.
Grind both into powder. Use an amount the size of a chicken egg, mix with unadulterated lard, and apply to the sore for immediate healing. (Same as *Jiuji Fang*, *Shenshi Fang*, both from Volume 24)
[Cui Shi's Formula] For treating hemorrhoids.
Que lin cao (one large handful, coarsely chopped).
Boil one ingredient in 2 sheng of water until reduced to 1 sheng. Drink all at once. Prepare another dose every three days; there are no cases that do not heal.

Collect hair from under the camel's chin, burn it to ash. Take an amount the size of half a chicken egg, mix with wine, and take in one dose. (Both from Volume 4)
[Bixiao Formula] Ironing method for hemorrhoids, for prolapsed hemorrhoids or unbearable pain.
Take Zhishi, roast it in hot charcoal ashes until hot, and apply heat compresses to the affected area. Using seven pieces will stabilize the condition immediately. Apply whenever it recurs to permanently cure it.

Mix musk "dangmenzi" salt blocks together. Apply to the top of the hemorrhoid by hand. Having someone else apply it is also good. For unbearable pain, two applications are sufficient for permanent cure.

Eat roasted wild boar meat. Healing occurs after ten meals. Three sources claim this is a miraculous effect.

Collect Cang'er zi on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, dry in shade, and grind into powder. Take 3 fang cun bi with water, three times daily. Stop when healed.

Burn the opening of a needle bag used for twenty years to ash. Mix with water and take in divided doses.
[Another Formula: Pain during acute hemorrhoid attack]
Boil scallions with roots in thick soup. Sit in a basin containing the hot soup. Pain stops shortly after.

Make a soup or dried jerky from Li rou (fox/cat meat) and eat it. Healing occurs within three meals without exception.
[Another Formula]
Take one large, fat red date, peel off the red skin. Place mercury in the palm, grind with saliva until extremely fine, spread on the inside of the date pulp, and insert into the anus to cure.

Pound the roots and leaves of Liao (Polygonum aviculare) to extract juice. Take 1 sheng. Heal in one or two doses.

Jiang xie (2 liang).
Boil this single ingredient in 3 he of water until reduced to 1 he. Strain and drink warm on an empty stomach. Repeat every other day. Avoid pork, garlic, etc.

Select dead bamboo that has turned black, break it, burn to ash, sieve, and take 1 fang cun bi with thin beverage. Avoid beef; no other restrictions. (From Volume 3)
[Gujin Lu Yan Formula] For treating hemorrhoids, Huang Wan. (Provided by Zhen Liyan, Official of the Imperial Library)
Huang, Qingxiangzi, Loulu, Biejia (Zhi), Yelangya (each 5 fen), Huangbai (4 fen), Xijiao xie (8 fen), Banmao (remove feet/wings, roast), [Huai]pi (4 fen, Zhi), Baifan (10 fen, calcined to remove juice), Yuanjing (remove feet/wings, roast), Dichan (remove feet/wings, roast), Wugong (each 10 pieces, Zhi), Zhu xuantijia (7 pieces, Zhi).
Crush and sieve the above fourteen ingredients into powder. Mix with honey to make pills the size of sophora seeds. Take 2 pills orally on an empty stomach with water, twice daily, increasing gradually until effective. Avoid all greasy foods and amaranth.
[Another Formula]
Dig a pit 1 chi deep and 4 cun in diameter. Heat charcoal until red-hot inside the pit. Remove fire, place a thin board/sieve over the mouth, put 1 he of Langdang zi into the pit to smoke. The patient sits on the board over the pit. Cover with a blanket to induce sweating. Perform in a sealed room away from wind. When smoke dissipates, add another 1 he of Langdang zi and fumigate again. Following this sweat-inducing method leads to cure.
[Another Formula: For treating various hemorrhoids, continuous bleeding leading to weakness and emaciation, universally effective]
Huang (2.5 da liang, finely cut and roasted yellow), Zhishi (2.5 da liang, finely cut and roasted yellow), Huangfanshi (1 da liang, roasted in charcoal for one fu period, turning frequently to ensure even heating, cooled, finely sieved to remove sand).
First crush Huang and Zhishi and sieve. Then mix with Fanshi and crush evenly. Make pills with honey. Take 20 pills orally with wine on an empty stomach, increasing to 30 pills, twice daily. Avoid buckwheat, pork, garlic, fish, and physical labor. Long-term use for half a year to one year yields excellent results.
[Another Formula: For treating hemorrhoids]
Li yu chang (approx. 0.5 sheng).
Clean the ingredient while keeping it fresh. Take a wooden board approx. 2 chi wide and 2 cun thick. Carve a hole in the center, 1.5 chi deep, round like a sauce cup opening. Place the fish intestine inside, sprinkle with finely crushed good musk. Cover with 2-3 layers of thick wool felt with a central hole matching the board's hole. Place over the anus. Stop when worms cease to appear.
[Xu Renze stated]: This disease includes internal and external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids bleed only upon defecation. External hemorrhoids differ; they have openings below the anus, and blood exits from these openings without pain.
Sheng Huai zi (1 dou, harvested before hardening).
Crush this ingredient, squeeze to extract juice, sun-dry to a thick consistency. Dry Dichan, crush and sieve into powder. Mix with the Huai zi decoction paste to make pills. Take 10 pills with water, twice daily, increasing to 30 pills, size of tung seeds. Also, shape the decoction paste into pill sizes like date pits and insert into the anus, 3-4 times day and night. Alternatively, crush Kushen and prepare according to the aforementioned Sheng Huai zi decoction method. If inconvenient, it may be combined with the following Huang Ten-Ingredient Powder.
[Huang Ten-Ingredient Powder Formula]
Huang (5 liang), Kushen, Xuanshen (6 liang each), Fuzi (Pao), Dahuang (3 liang each), Ganjiang (2 liang), [Huai]pi (Zhi, 2 liang), Huanglian (4 liang each), Huai zi (6 he), Zhu xuantijia (1 piece, Zhi).
Crush and sieve the above herbs into powder. Take 1 fang cun bi orally with water on an empty stomach, twice daily. Gradually increase to 2 bi. Avoid pork and cold water. (From Lower Volume)
