End of sweet melon seed (Cucumeris Fructus Semen) powder. Snuff into the nasal cavity. Hold cold water in the mouth. The condition is cured when yellow fluid is discharged.
Black morning glory seed (Ipomoeae Turbinatae Semen, Qian Niu Zi) (seven grains) and Amomum fruit (Amomi Fructus, Sha Ren) (one grain). Grind into fine powder. Mix with well water drawn at dawn (Jing Hua Shui) to form a juice. Instill into the nose while tilting the head back. Recovery occurs immediately upon discharge of saliva/phlegm.
Frankincense (Boswelliae Resina, Ruxiang) and Castor bean (Ricini Semen, Bimaren) (equal parts). Pounded into a paste/biscuit. Apply to the Taiyang acupoint (Ex-HN5, Taiyang) on the affected side. It resolves pathogenic factors and releases exterior pathogens. Highly effective.

Scalp ringworm (also known as La Li or Lai Tou). Burn castor beans (Ricini Semen, Maziren) (two sheng) until charred, grind into powder. Mix with lard (Porci Adipis, Zhuzhi) and apply. Continue until hair grows back. Alternatively, for early stages, mix white wheat flour (Tritici Vulgaris Farina, Baifan) and fermented soybean (Sojae Preparata, Douchi), grind and apply.
