Take with sugar water, or immediately crush fresh radish and drink the juice.
Drink two teacups of yellow mud water to be cured. Alternatively, use four taels of maltose (Yitang), form into small pills, and swallow with pure sesame oil to be cured. Another prescription uses concentrated decoction of dark plum (Wumei) for gavage.
In case of sudden fainting, immediately administer clear water in a cool, ventilated place.
Take with sugar water and drink.
Grind Lanzi into a liquid and take orally to resolve the toxicity.
Grind raw white lablab bean (Baidou) into powder and take with cold water.
Burn silkworm pupal skin (the old paper left after silkworms spin cocoons) into ash, finely grind one qian, and take with cold water. Alternatively, take juice from water chestnut (Biqi) mixed with indigo dye (Dianqing).
For those who have ingested salt brine and are in critical condition, immediately take a live duck or chicken, cut off its head, insert the neck into the patient's mouth, and pour hot blood into them to resolve the toxicity. If a large amount of brine was ingested, several birds are needed to fully absorb the toxin. It is also advisable to administer hot tofu milk.
Drink cold water to find relief. Eat one or two jujubes before sleep each time, or hold them in the mouth, to prevent unconsciousness.
Symptoms include dizziness, tinnitus, fever, severe lethargy, and fearfulness. Taking earth slurry (Dijiang) is the best method; alternatively, eating clam meat is good. Or, melt one jin of black lead, add one sheng of wine, repeat this process more than ten times until the wine reduces to half a sheng, then take it all at once to resolve the toxicity.
(This refers to Gu Poison.)
This is an evil sorcery practiced in Lingnan, Fujian, and Guangdong, particularly prevalent in Gutian and Changxi of Fuzhou. It involves using curse methods in food and drink, where fish and meat can turn towards the caster's hometown. Silverware should be used to test food and drink beforehand; if toxic, it turns black. Alternatively, stir with rhinoceros horn; if toxic, white foam rises. Another method to verify Gu poisoning: vomiting that feels like intense heat indicates Gu poisoning. If pain and toxicity are in the upper chest and diaphragm, take alum (Baifan) and Cimicifuga (Shengma) to induce vomiting. If pain is below the diaphragm indicating lower toxicity, take Curcuma zedoaria (Yujin) powder mixed with rice soup, two to three qian, to induce purgation. These three ingredients can be taken together; if vomiting does not occur, purgation will occur. (Song Dynasty Li Xuyan, Vice Prefect of Leizhou, obtained this prescription while adjudicating cases, saving countless lives. Recorded in Fan Shihu's collection.)
1. Toad Gu and Tadpole Gu: Symptoms include abdominal distension and pain, dry mouth with desire for water, inability to eat, and stifling panting. Take half a jin of axle grease (Chezhi) slowly with hot wine; the Gu worm will naturally exit.
2. Snake Gu: Contracted through food and drink, feeling as if there is an object in the throat that cannot be swallowed or vomited out, with heat and stifling sensation in the epigastrium. Take Decoction of Aristolochia Manshuriensis (Madouling), one liang, to induce vomiting.
3. Golden Silkworm Gu: Drink decoction made from pomegranate root bark (Shiliu Genpi).
4. Gu Poison causing hematemesis or melena resembling goose liver, or acute abdominal pain as if being bitten by an object. If not treated promptly, death ensues. Take ash of aged drum skin (Baigupi) mixed with wine, two qian; or take three he of wheat flour, divided into three doses, taken with cold water. Finish within half a day; expulsion of the Gu worm leads to recovery.

Realgar (Xionghuang) and Musk (Shexiang) (equal parts)
Grind these together into powder. Take a piece of raw sheep lung the size of a finger, cut open with a knife, insert two spoonfuls of the powder inside, and swallow.
