上以水一大盏半。煎取一盏。分为三服。如人行三五里。再服。
治产后恶血不尽。心膈烦闷。腹中刺痛。宜服此方。

上捣细罗为散。不计时候。以温酒调下一钱。

生地黄（四两细切）
上以酒二大盏。煎三五沸。去滓。分为五服。不计时候服之。

上件药。捣细罗为散。每服不计时候。以红蓝花酒。调下二钱。
治产后虚劳。心热烦闷。不识人方。
上取生鸡子一枚。打破。去壳吞之。
又方。
童子小便（一小盏） 生姜汁（一合） 生地黄汁（二合）
上相和。煎一沸。放温。分为二服。频频服之。
又方。
生地黄汁（一中盏） 童子小便（一中盏） 蒲黄（半两）
上相和。搅令匀。不计时候。分温四服。
又方。
上以生藕。捣绞取汁。暖饮一小盏。频频服之。
又方。
上饮淡竹沥一小盏。立效。
产后烦闷，是由于产后脏腑劳损受伤，气血虚弱亏损，风邪趁机侵袭，与血相搏结，导致气机运行不畅而阻滞涩滞，从而产生烦闷的症状。
治疗产后心中烦闷不解的紫葛饮子方：
紫葛（半两）、麦门冬（半两，去心）、生地黄（半两）、小麦（半合）、甘草（一分，炙至微赤后锉碎）。
生姜（适量）。
以上药物，细切并混合均匀，分为二或三服。用水一大盏，煎煮至剩余五分药液，滤去药渣，不限时间温服。
治疗产后突然因血气上攻心胸，导致烦闷、口干、高热、不思饮食的生地黄饮子方：
生地黄汁（一中盏）、童子小便（一中盏）、当归（一两，锉碎）、生姜汁（一合）、酒（一中盏）。
以上药物，捣碎混合，煎煮五到七沸，滤去药渣，不限时间，温服一小盏。
治疗产后因虚热内生，致使心神烦闷的麦门冬散方：
麦门冬（一两，去心）、羚羊角屑（半两）、人参（一两半，去芦头）、甘草（半两，炙至微赤后锉碎）、蒲黄（适量）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用三钱，用水一中盏，加入竹叶十四片、小麦半合，煎煮至剩余二分药液，滤去药渣。
治疗产后口干、烦闷、心躁的黄耆散方：
黄耆（一两，锉碎）、麦门冬（一两，去心）、赤茯苓（一两）、当归（半两）、甘草（半两，炙至微赤后锉碎）、生姜（适量）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，加入生姜半分，煎煮至剩余六分药液，滤去药渣，不限时间温服。
治疗产后血气上攻胸膈，导致烦闷不安的蒲黄散方：
蒲黄（一两）、当归（一两）、赤芍药（一两）、麦门冬（一两，去心）、生干地黄（一两）、鬼箭羽（适量）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用三钱，用水一中盏，加入竹叶十四片、粳米五十粒，煎煮至剩余六分药液，滤去药渣，不限时间温服。
治疗产后内虚，烦闷且短气的竹茹饮子方：
竹茹（一两）、人参（一两，去芦头）、白茯苓（一两）、黄耆（一两，锉碎）、甘草（一分，炙至微赤后锉碎）。
以上药物，细切混合均匀。每次服用半两，用水一大盏，加入大枣三枚，煎煮至剩余五分药液，滤去药渣，不限时间温服。
治疗产后血气攻心，导致烦闷、气息将绝、神志不清不识人的红蓝花饮子方：
红蓝花（半两）、紫葛（半两，锉碎）、赤芍药（半两，锉碎）、生地黄汁（三合，后下）、童子小便（适量）。
以上药物，全部用水一大盏、酒半盏，煎煮至剩余八分药液，滤去药渣，加入地黄汁和小便，再煎煮两三沸，不限时间服用。
治疗产后恶血不下，心膈烦闷的琥珀散方：
琥珀（一两）、蒲黄（一两）、刘寄奴（一两）、赤芍药（一两）、莲子心（半两）、鬼箭羽（半两）。
以上药物，捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次服用不限时间，用豆淋酒调服二钱。
治疗产后躁热，心神烦闷的忽麻散方：
忽麻子（一两）、红蓝花（半两）、当归（半两，锉碎微炒）、赤芍药（半两）、琥珀（半两）、嫩荷叶（适量）。
以上药物，捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次服用不限时间，用生地黄汁调服二钱。
治疗产后心神烦闷，眩晕昏迷不醒，唇口发冷，脉象欲绝，面色青紫，血气上冲的情况，应当立即服用此方：
浓醋（三合）、鸡蛋（一枚，打破浮在碗中）。
以上药物，先煎醋一两沸，倒入盛有鸡蛋的碗中，充分搅拌后一次服下，立刻见效。
治疗产后烦闷，手脚躁热，气息微弱欲绝，血晕，心头硬满，忽冷忽热的情况，宜服用此方：
续骨皮（一握，锉碎）。
以上药物用水一大盏半，煎取一盏药液，分为三服。如人行走三五里路程后，再服第二次。
治疗产后恶血不尽，心膈烦闷，腹中刺痛的情况，宜服用此方：
延胡索（一两）、益母草（半两）。
以上药物捣碎过细罗制成散剂，不限时间，用温酒调服一钱。
又一方：
生地黄（四两，细切）。
以上药物用酒两大盏，煎煮三到五沸，滤去药渣，分为五服，不限时间服用。
又一方：
当归（二两，锉碎微炒）、鬼箭羽（二两）。
以上药物捣碎过细罗制成散剂，每次服用不限时间，用红蓝花酒调服二钱。
治疗产后虚劳，心热烦闷，神志不清不识人的方剂：
取生鸡蛋一枚，打破，去壳吞服。
又一方：
童子小便（一小盏）、生姜汁（一合）、生地黄汁（二合）。
以上药物混合，煎煮一沸，放温后分为二服，频频服用。
又一方：
生地黄汁（一中盏）、童子小便（一中盏）、蒲黄（半两）。
以上药物混合，搅拌均匀，不限时间，分四次温服。
又一方：
用新鲜莲藕，捣碎绞取汁液，温热饮用一小盏，频频服用。
又一方：
饮用淡竹沥一小盏，立刻见效。
Postpartual restlessness and oppression arise from the exhaustion and injury of the zang-fu organs after childbirth, leading to deficiency and depletion of blood and qi. Wind-pathogen takes advantage of this weakness to invade, combing with blood, causing qi mechanism to be unsmooth and obstructed, thereby generating restlessness.
Formula for Treating Postpartual Restlessness and Oppression Not Resolved in the Heart: Zige Yinzi (Purple Vine Decoction)
Zige (Caulis Cissampi, 0.5 liang), Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, 0.5 liang, heart removed), Shengdihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens, 0.5 liang), Xiaomai (Frumentum Tritici, 0.5 he), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, 1 fen, roasted until slightly reddish and chopped).
Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are finely chopped and mixed evenly, divided into two or three doses. Boil with one da zhen (approx. 200ml) of water until reduced to five fen (approx. 40ml). Strain the dregs. Take warm at any time.
Formula for Treating Sudden Attack of Blood and Qi to Chest and Heart Causing Restlessness, Dry Mouth, High Fever, and Loss of Appetite after Childbirth: Shengdihuang Yinzi (Rehmannia Juice Decoction)
Shengdihuang Zhi (Jus Radicis Rehmanniae Recens, one zhong zhen), Tongzi Xiaobian (Urine of a Healthy Young Boy, one zhong zhen), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 1 liang, chopped), Shengjiang Zhi (Jus Rhizomatis Zingiberis Recens, 1 he), Jiu (Vinum, one zhong zhen).
The above herbs are crushed and mixed, boiled for five to seven boils. Strain the dregs. Take one zhong zhen warm at any time.
Formula for Treating Restlessness of the Mind Caused by Deficiency-Heat after Childbirth: Maidong San (Ophiopogon Powder)
Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, 1 liang, heart removed), Lingyangjiao Xie (Cornu Saigae Tataricae, 0.5 liang), Renshen (Radix Ginseng, 1.5 liang, radix tip removed), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, 0.5 liang, roasted until slightly reddish and chopped), Puhuang (Pollen Typhae, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted, and made into powder. Each dose is 3 qian. Boil with one zhong zhen of water, add 14 leaves of Zhuye (Folium Bambusae), and 0.5 he of Xiaomai. Boil until reduced to two fen. Strain the dregs.
Formula for Treating Dry Mouth, Restlessness, and Mental Agitation after Childbirth: Huangqi San (Astragalus Powder)
Huangqi (Radix Astragali, 1 liang, chopped), Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, 1 liang, heart removed), Chifuling (Poria Cum Ligno Rubra, 1 liang), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 0.5 liang), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, 0.5 liang, roasted until slightly reddish and chopped), Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted, and made into powder. Each dose is 4 qian. Boil with one zhong zhen of water, add 0.5 fen of Shengjiang. Boil until reduced to six fen. Strain the dregs. Take warm at any time.
Formula for Treating Restlessness and Unease due to Attack of Blood and Qi to Chest and Diaphragm after Childbirth: Puhuang San (Typha Pollen Powder)
Puhuang (Pollen Typhae, 1 liang), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 1 liang), Chishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 1 liang), Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, 1 liang, heart removed), Shenggandi Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, 1 liang), Guijianyu (Ramulus Corni Swinhoei, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are crushed, sifted, and made into powder. Each dose is 3 qian. Boil with one zhong zhen of water, add 14 leaves of Zhuye and 50 grains of Jingmi (Oryza Sativa). Boil until reduced to six fen. Strain the dregs. Take warm at any time.
Formula for Treating Internal Deficiency, Restlessness, and Shortness of Breath after Childbirth: Zhuru Yinzi (Bamboo Shaving Decoction)
Zhuru (Caulis Bambusae in Taenia, 1 liang), Renshen (Radix Ginseng, 1 liang, radix tip removed), Baifuling (Poria, 1 liang), Huangqi (Radix Astragali, 1 liang, chopped), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, 1 fen, roasted until slightly reddish and chopped).
The above herbs are finely chopped and mixed evenly. Each dose is 0.5 liang. Boil with one da zhen of water, add three dates (Zao). Boil until reduced to five fen. Strain the dregs. Take warm at any time.
Formula for Treating Blood and Qi Attacking the Heart, Causing Restlessness, Impending Death of Qi, and Unconsciousness after Childbirth: Honglanhua Yinzi (Carthamus Decoction)
Honglanhua (Flos Carthami Tinctorii, 0.5 liang), Zige (Caulis Cissampi, 0.5 liang, chopped), Chishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 0.5 liang, chopped), Shengdihuang Zhi (Jus Radicis Rehmanniae Recens, 3 he, added later), Tongzi Xiaobian (Urine of a Healthy Young Boy, appropriate amount).
All herbs are boiled with one da zhen of water and half a zhen of wine until reduced to eight fen. Strain the dregs. Add the Rehmannia juice and urine, boil for two or three more boils. Take at any time.
Formula for Treating Failure of Lochia Discharge and Restlessness in Chest and Diaphragm after Childbirth: Hupo San (Amber Powder)
Hupo (Electrum, 1 liang), Puhuang (Pollen Typhae, 1 liang), Liujinu (Herba Siegesbeckiae, 1 liang), Chishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 1 liang), Lianzixin (Plumula Nelumbinis, 0.5 liang), Guijianyu (Ramulus Corni Swinhoei, 0.5 liang).
The above herbs are finely crushed, sifted through a fine sieve, and made into powder. Each dose is taken at any time, mixed with Doulin Jiu (Soybean Dripping Wine) and administered as 2 qian.
Formula for Treating Restless Heat and Mental Restlessness after Childbirth: Huma San (Hemp Seed Powder)
Humazi (Semen Cannabis, 1 liang), Honglanhua (Flos Carthami Tinctorii, 0.5 liang), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 0.5 liang, chopped and lightly stir-fried), Chishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, 0.5 liang), Hupo (Electrum, 0.5 liang), Nenheye (Folium Nelumbinis Tenellum, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are finely crushed, sifted through a fine sieve, and made into powder. Each dose is taken at any time, mixed with Shengdihuang Zhi and administered as 2 qian.
For postpartual mental restlessness, vertigo and coma, cold lips and mouth, impending pulse disappearance, cyanotic face, and upward rush of blood and qi, this formula should be taken urgently:
Yan Cu (Strong Vinegar, 3 he), Ji Zi (Ovum Galli, one egg, broken and floated in a bowl).
Boil the vinegar until it boils once. Pour into the bowl with the egg. Stir well and take immediately. Effect is instant.
For postpartual restlessness, restless heat in hands and feet, weak breath nearing cessation, blood syncope, hardness in the heart region, alternating chills and fever, take this formula:
Xugu Pi (Cortex Erythrinae, one handful, chopped).
Boil with one and a half da zhen of water to obtain one zhen. Divide into three doses. After walking for three to five li, take the next dose.
For postpartual incomplete expulsion of lochia, restlessness in chest and diaphragm, and stabbing pain in abdomen, take this formula:
Yanhusuo (Rhizoma Corydalis, 1 liang), Yimucao (Herba Leonuri, 0.5 liang).
Crush and sift through a fine sieve to make powder. Take 1 qian mixed with warm wine at any time.
Another Formula:
Shengdihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens, 4 liang, finely sliced).
Boil with two large zhen of wine for three to five boils. Strain the dregs. Divide into five doses. Take at any time.
Another Formula:
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 2 liang, chopped and lightly stir-fried), Guijianyu (Ramulus Corni Swinhoei, 2 liang).
Crush and sift through a fine sieve to make powder. Take 2 qian mixed with Honglanhua Jiu (Carthamus Wine) at any time.
Formula for Treating Postpartual Consumption, Heart Heat, Restlessness, and Unconsciousness:
Take one raw chicken egg, break it, remove the shell, and swallow it.
Another Formula:
Tongzi Xiaobian (Urine of a Healthy Young Boy, one small zhen), Shengjiang Zhi (Jus Rhizomatis Zingiberis Recens, 1 he), Shengdihuang Zhi (Jus Radicis Rehmanniae Recens, 2 he).
Mix together, boil once, let cool to warm temperature. Divide into two doses. Take frequently.
Another Formula:
Shengdihuang Zhi (Jus Radicis Rehmanniae Recens, one zhong zhen), Tongzi Xiaobian (Urine of a Healthy Young Boy, one zhong zhen), Puhuang (Pollen Typhae, 0.5 liang).
Mix together and stir until uniform. Divide into four warm doses. Take at any time.
Another Formula:
Use fresh lotus root (Ou), crush and squeeze to extract juice. Drink one small zhen warm. Take frequently.
Another Formula:
Drink Dan Zhu Li (Nodus Bambusae in Taenia Infusum, one small zhen). Effect is instant.
