伤寒病中出现心狂热症状的，是因为心在五行中属火。心主司血液的运行。当阳气亢盛时，血液就会随阳气而壅滞于阳分。热邪侵袭心的经络，就会导致心神烦乱、胸部不适。
治疗伤寒脉象浮起，医生用火法强行发汗，出汗过多必然导致亡阳。此时心生狂热，坐卧不安。适宜服用龙骨救逆汤方。

For the condition of heart heat mania (Xin Re Kuang) in cold damage disease (Shang Han), it is due to the Heart belonging to Fire. The Heart governs Blood. When Yang Qi is excessive, Blood merges with Yang. Heat pathogen attacks the Heart collaterals, causing mental restlessness and chest discomfort.
