高良姜（一两锉） 干木瓜（半两） 莲子心（半两） 菖蒲（半两） 丁香（一分）
上件药。捣筛为散。每服三钱。以水一中盏。入生姜半分。
煎至六分。去滓。不计时候热服。
又方。
丁香（一分） 陈橘皮（一两汤浸去白瓤焙）
上件药。捣粗罗为散。每服三（二）钱。以水一小盏。煎至四分。去滓。不计时候热服。
治气逆。咳 不止方。
伏龙肝（一两） 丁香（半两）
上件药。捣细罗为散。不计时候。煎桃仁醋汤调下一钱。
治寒气攻胃。咳 方。
吴茱萸（半两汤浸七遍焙干微炒） 青橘皮（半两汤浸去白瓤焙）
上件药。捣筛为散。每服三钱。以水一中盏。入生姜半分。煎至五分。去滓。不计时候
热服
又方。
草豆蔻（一两去皮） 益智子（一两去皮） 干柿（二两）
上件药。捣为散。每服三钱。以水一中盏。入生姜半分。煎至五分。去滓。不计时候热
服。
又方。
胡椒（三十颗） 麝香〔二（一）钱细研〕
上捣破胡椒。入麝香。用酒一中盏。煎至半盏。稍热服。
又方。
上用黑豆二合。于瓶子中。以热醋沃之。纸封。开一小孔子。令患人以口吸其气人咽喉
中。
又方。
上用木瓜汁生姜汁等分和匀。温服一合。
又方。
上用薄荷汁一合。生蜜一钱。和调服之。
咳嗽，是肺气上逆的表现。气属于阳，在脏腑间流通，宣发于腠理（皮肤纹理及汗孔）。而气是由肺所主管的。肺作为五脏之一，若气机逆乱而不能固摄，就会引发咳嗽。
治疗胃寒引起的咳嗽：因气机厥逆不通所致。高良姜散方。

以上药物，捣碎并粗罗过筛制成散剂。每次服用二至三钱，用水一小盏，煎煮至四分，滤去药渣，不分时候热服。
治疗气机上逆、咳嗽不止的方子：
伏龙肝（一两） 丁香（半两）
以上药物，捣碎并细罗过筛制成散剂。不分时候，用桃仁醋汤调服一钱。
治疗寒气侵袭胃部引起的咳嗽：
吴茱萸（半两，用汤浸泡七遍，焙干，微炒） 青橘皮（半两，用汤浸泡后去掉白色瓤部，焙干）
以上药物，捣碎并过筛制成散剂。每次服用三钱，用水一中盏，加入生姜半分，煎煮至五分，滤去药渣，不分时候热服。
另一个方子：
草豆蔻（一两，去皮） 益智子（一两，去皮） 干柿（二两）
以上药物，捣碎制成散剂。每次服用三钱，用水一中盏，加入生姜半分，煎煮至五分，滤去药渣，不分时候热服。
另一个方子：
胡椒（三十颗） 麝香（一至二钱，细研）
将胡椒捣破，加入麝香，用酒一中盏，煎煮至半盏，稍热时服用。
另一个方子：
取黑豆二合，放入瓶中，用热醋浇灌，用纸密封，开一个小孔，让患者通过口吸入药气进入咽喉中。
另一个方子：
取薄荷汁一合，生蜜一钱，调和后服用。
Cough is a manifestation of rebellious Lung Qi. Qi belongs to Yang, circulating through the Zang-Fu organs and disseminating to the Couli (skin texture and pores). Qi is primarily governed by the Lung. As one of the Five Zang organs, if the Lung fails to control and secure Qi due to rebellious movement, cough ensues.
To treat cold-induced cough originating from the Stomach: caused by Qi Jue (rebellious Qi stagnation) and obstruction. Gaoliangjiang San Decoction.
Gaoliangjiang (Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum, 1 liang, crushed) Ganmugua (Dried Chaenomeles Fruit, 0.5 liang) Lianzixin (Plumula Nelumbinis, 0.5 liang) Changpu (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii, 0.5 liang) Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli, 1 fen)
Crush and sieve the above herbs into a powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 0.5 ban of fresh ginger to 1 zhong of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take hot at any time.
Another prescription:
Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli, 1 fen) Chenjupi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, 1 liang, soaked in boiling water, white pith removed, dried)
Crush and coarsely sieve the above herbs into a powder. Take 2-3 qian per dose. Add 1 xiao zhong of water, decoct until reduced to 4 fen, strain, and take hot at any time.
Prescription for treating rebellious Qi and persistent cough:
Fulonggan (Calaminis Figlina, 1 liang) Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli, 0.5 liang)
Crush and finely sieve the above herbs into a powder. At any time, mix 1 qian with vinegar-infused peach kernel decoction and take orally.
Prescription for cough caused by cold pathogen attacking the Stomach:
Wuzhuyu (Fructus Evodiae, 0.5 liang, soaked in boiling water seven times, dried, slightly stir-fried) Qingjupi (Exocarpium Citri Grandis, 0.5 liang, soaked in boiling water, white pith removed, dried)
Crush and sieve the above herbs into a powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 0.5 ban of fresh ginger to 1 zhong of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, strain, and take hot at any time.
Another prescription:
Caodoukou (Semen Karvae, 1 liang, peeled) Yiziren (Semen Alpiniae Oxyphyllae, 1 liang, peeled) Ganshi (Dried Persimmon, 2 liang)
Crush the above herbs into a powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 0.5 ban of fresh ginger to 1 zhong of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, strain, and take hot at any time.
Another prescription:
Hujiao (Piperis Longi Fructus, 30 grains) Shexiang (Moschus, 1-2 qian, finely ground)
Crush the pepper, add musk, use 1 zhong of wine, decoct until reduced to half a zhong, and take when slightly warm.
Another prescription:
Take 2 he of black beans, place them in a bottle, pour hot vinegar over them, seal with paper, make a small hole, and let the patient inhale the vapor into the throat through the mouth.

Mix equal parts of Chaenomeles juice and fresh ginger juice, and take 1 he warm.
