The wind disease encompasses four hundred and four types. Generally speaking, they do not exceed five categories, which are governed by the Five Winds. The first is Yellow Wind, the second is Green Wind, the third is [missing character] Wind, the fourth is [missing character] Worm, the fifth is [missing character] Wind, and the sixth is [missing character] Liver. For treating Great Wind disease, characterized by numbness of the skin and muscles, sores on the head, face, and body, swollen and blackened complexion, intestinal worms, and collapse of the nasal bridge (nasal columella collapse), it is suitable to take Zhusha San (Cinnabar Powder) formula.
Zhusha (Cinnabar, 1 liang, finely ground, processed by water flotation), Zitan (Sappan Wood, 1 liang, chopped), Loulu (Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae, 1 liang), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang, finely ground), Cihuang (Orpiment, 0.5 liang, finely ground), Wei [missing character] (0.5 [missing character]), Mian [missing character] (1.5 liang).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a fine sieve to become powder, mixed with mineral medicine powder, and ground evenly again. Each dose is taken before meals, mixed with warm wine and administered as one qian. If hungry, one should eat [missing character] or when [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, at the initial stage when sores have not yet appeared, with swelling of the head and face, and stubbornly dark, itchy skin, it is suitable to take Xingren Wan (Apricot Seed Pill) formula.
Xingren (Bitter Apricot Seed, 1.5 liang, soaked in water, skin and pointed ends removed, using double-kernel seeds, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow), Leiwan (Folium Polypori, 1 liang), Guanzhong (Rhizoma Cyrtomii, 1 liang), Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae, 1 liang), Jitou Shi [missing character] ([missing character] liang), Shihu [missing character] ([missing character] liang).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder, mixed with refined honey, and pounded three to two hundred times. They are formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Each dose is taken before meals, sent down with twenty pills using warm wine.

For treating Great Wind disease, where nodules gather all over the body like peach or plum kernels, forming sores, Kushen Wan (Sophora Root Pill) formula is indicated.
Kushen (Sophora Root, 5 liang, chopped), Sheng Gan Dihuang (Dried Rehmannia Root, 4 liang), Zhusha (Cinnabar, 2 liang, finely ground, processed by water flotation), Xunhuang (Orpiment, 0.5 liang), Gancao (Licorice Root, 1 liang, stir-fried until slightly red).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder, mixed with Zhusha (Cinnabar) to ensure even distribution, combined with refined honey, and pounded three to two hundred times. They are formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Each dose is taken without restriction on time.

For treating Great Wind disease, heat-toxin in the head and face, skin sores, and facial nodules resembling fallen eyebrows, one should take this Shiliu Jinjiu (Pomegranate Infused Wine) formula.
Suan Shiliu (Sour Pomegranate, 7 fruits, mashed with peel), Tian Shiliu (Sweet Pomegranate, 7 fruits, mashed with peel), Renshen (Ginseng Root, 2 liang, rhizome removed), Kushen (Sophora Root, 2 liang, chopped), Shashen [missing character].
The above medicines are finely chopped, wrapped in cotton cloth, and soaked in one dou of unadulterated wine in a porcelain bottle. The bottle mouth is sealed tightly. Soak for seven days in spring and summer, and fourteen days in autumn and winter.

For treating severe Great Wind disease, characterized by body sores and swelling, itching with pus discharge, and extreme wind toxicity, Liuzhi Jian Fangfeng Wan (Willow Branch Decoction with Saposhnikovia Pill) formula is taken.
Daochui Liuzhi (Weeping Willow Branch, 2 jin), Sangzhi (Mulberry Twig, 2 jin), Huaizhi (Locust Twig, 2 jin), Tianliaomu Zhi (Polygonum Multiflorum Stem, 2 jin), Xianlingpi Ye (Acanthopanacis Senticosi Leaf, 2 jin).
All are chopped, boiled in seven dou of water in a large silver pot until reduced to one dou. All dregs are filtered out. Use one sheng of silkworm excrement, stir-fried until fragrant, crushed and passed through a sieve to become [powder].
Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, 1 liang, rhizome removed), Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome, 1 liang), Wuweizi (Schisandra Fruit, 1 liang), Renshen (Ginseng Root, 1 liang, rhizome removed), Wujia Pi (Acanthopanacis Cortex, 1 liang), Bai Jili [missing character] ([missing character] liang, shell removed), Wushe [missing character].
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder, mixed with refined honey, and pounded three to two hundred times. They are formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Each dose is taken with one zhong cup of warm wine, added with one [missing character] of the decocted medicine.

For treating malignant Great Wind disease, characterized by intestinal worms, skin sores and swelling, and impending loss of hands and feet, Heihu Dan (Black Tiger Pellet) formula is used.
Tianlinggai (Human Skull Cap, 3 liang, coated with butter and roasted until slightly yellow), Xama (Toad, 1 piece, head and feet removed, coated with butter and roasted until slightly yellow), Shexiang (Musk, 1 fen, finely ground), Taoren (Peach Kernel, 2 [missing character] liang, [missing character] [missing character] yellow).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder, mixed with refined honey, and pounded three to two hundred times. They are formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Each dose is taken before meals, sent down with thirty pills using warm porridge drink. Take [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, characterized by skin sores, swelling, itching, joint pain, and phlegm obstruction in the heart and diaphragm, Wushe Wan (Snake Pill) formula is suitable.
Wushe (Snake, soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, roasted until yellow), Xuanshen (Scrophularia Root), Shashen (Glehnia Root, rhizome removed), Renshen (Ginseng Root, rhizome removed), Wujia Pi (Acanthopanacis Cortex, 1 liang), Fangfeng [missing character] (remove [missing character]) (each of the above [missing character] 1 liang).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder. Use ten stalks of Gleditsia Sinensis fruit, add two sheng of water, knead to extract thick juice, filter out dregs, and boil until thick like thin malt syrup. Mix with the medicine powder, pound [missing character] three two [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, characterized by changes in skin and flesh, and impending loss of eyebrows and beard, Baihua She San (White Flower Snake Powder) formula is suitable.
Baihua She (White Flower Snake, 5 liang, soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, lightly roasted), Lufengfang (Honeycomb, 2 liang, roasted until yellow), Kushen (Sophora Root, 1.5 liang, chopped), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, 1 [missing character] liang, rhizome removed), [missing character] liang), Bai Jili (Tribulus Fruit, 1 liang, lightly stir-fried, remove [missing character]).
The above medicines are finely crushed and passed through a sieve to become powder. Every morning on an empty stomach, mix with warm wine and take two qian. Take another dose before evening meal.

For treating Great Wind disease, characterized by impending muscle deterioration, change in eye color, loss of eyebrows and hair, and scattered voice, Rufang San (Frankincense Powder) formula is suitable.
Ruxiang (Frankincense, 3 liang), Tianma End (Gastrodia Rhizome Powder, 3 liang), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis, 1 liang), Shexiang (Musk, 1 liang, finely ground), Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang, finely ground), Huma [missing character] (2 jin [missing character] fear cauldron inside [missing character]).
The above medicines are all ground until uniform and fine. Every morning on an empty stomach and before evening meal, mix with tea liquor from waxed noodles and take two qian. For the first three days of taking, there may be cardiac rebellion; on the fourth day [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, characterized by impending muscle deterioration and presence of worms, Xionghuang San (Realgar Powder) formula is suitable.
Xionghuang (Realgar, 0.5 liang, finely ground), Cihuang [1 liang (fen), finely ground], Leiwan (Folium Polypori, 3 fen), Awei (Asafoetida, 0.5 liang, wrapped in dough and baked until dough is cooked), Huashi [missing character], Shiyin [missing character] (0.5 liang [missing character]).
The above medicines are finely crushed and passed through a sieve to become powder. Add the already ground medicines and grind uniformly. Select the Dragon Boat Festival day, or the Three Yuan days, or seasonal days, and June 6th. After taking medicine [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, Tianliao San (Polygonum Multiflorum Powder) formula.
Tianliao, Tianma, Heshouwu, Wangbuliuxing.
The above medicines are finely crushed and passed through a sieve to become powder. Each dose is taken without restriction on time, mixed with hot grain water and taken as two qian.

For treating Great Wind Leprosy formula.
Jinqi (Gold Lacquer, 5 he), Wushe (Snake, 3 liang, soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, lightly roasted), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, 3 liang, rhizome removed), Sang'e (Mulberry Goose, 3 liang, harvested in winter), Gualou [missing character].
The above medicines, first crush the Wushe, Fangfeng, and Sang'e into powder. Take three sheng of fermented sorghum wine, use one and a half sheng first, grind Xu [missing character] Suizi [missing character] down [missing character].
Take one slice each time, chew thoroughly and send down with tea. Take on an empty stomach and before evening meal. After taking for one hundred days, sideburns and eyebrows will grow back as usual.

For treating Great Wind disease, Chijian Wan (Aruncus Pill) formula.
Chijian (Aruncus Rhizome, 5 liang), Chicheng (Tamarisk Twig, 5 liang), Yinyu (Berberis Stem Bark, 5 liang), Digupi (Phellodendri Cortex, 5 liang), Wushe (Snake, 5 liang), Baiyang Pi [1 (10) [missing character] liang, remove [missing character]].
The above medicines are finely chopped, boiled in five sheng (dou) of water in a cauldron until reduced to one sheng (dou), filter out dregs, clarify, and boil again into paste.
Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, 5 liang, rhizome removed), Tianma (Gastrodia Rhizome, 5 liang), Qinghao Mo (Artemisia Annua Powder, 5 liang).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder, mixed with the prepared paste to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Each dose is taken before meals, sent down with ten pills using Schizonepeta Decoction.

For treating Great Wind, sores not yet erupted, eyebrow loss formula.
Shengqi (Raw Lacquer, 2 liang), Sheng Dihuang (Fresh Rehmannia Root, 3 jin, washed in water, ground and squeezed to extract juice).
Mix the above two ingredients, put into a silver pot, boil using double-boiling method. Stir with a willow wood spatula. Wait until it becomes paste, then use to mix with subsequent medicines.
Wushe (Snake, 2 liang, soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, lightly roasted), Baifuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma, 1 liang, processed until cracked), Xionghuang (Realgar, 0.5 liang, finely ground like powder).
The above medicines are crushed, passed through a sieve to become powder, then all ground uniformly. Mix with the previous paste to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. After every night, send down with seven pills using warm wine. Sweat out [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, it is suitable to take Guizhi Jinjiu (Cinnamon Twig Infused Wine) formula.
Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig, 1 liang), Xiong [missing character] (1 liang), Duhuo (Angelica Pubescens Root, 1 liang), Gancao (Licorice Root, 1 liang, stir-fried until slightly red), Niuxi (Achyranthes Root, 1 liang, sprouts removed), Shuyu [missing character] (1 liang), Xiong [missing character] (1 [missing character] liang half, processed until cracked, skin and navel removed), Yinyu (Berberis Stem Bark, 1.5 liang), Duzhong (Eucommia Bark, 1.5 liang, wrinkled skin removed, roasted until slightly yellow), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, 1.5 liang), Shuo [missing character] KT Gen (2 liang), Gan [missing character].
The above medicines are finely chopped, stored in a raw silk bag, and soaked in two dou of clear wine for seven days. After the period is full, every morning on an empty stomach and at night before bed, warm a small cup and take it.

For treating Great Wind disease, Yinyu Jiu (Berberis Stem Bark Wine) formula.
Yinyu (Berberis Stem Bark, 1 liang), Wutou (Aconitum Carmandii Root, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and navel removed), Tianxiong (Aconitum Kusnezoffii Root, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and navel removed), Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and navel removed), Chuan [missing character] Xin (1 [missing character] liang).
The above medicines are finely chopped, placed in a raw silk bag, and soaked in one dou and five sheng of clear wine for twenty-one days. After the period is full, every morning on an empty stomach and before bed, warm a small cup [missing character].

For treating Great Wind, Divine Effective Formula.
Tongming Ruxiang (Transparent Frankincense, 20 liang), Kushen (Sophora Root, 4 liang, plump and good quality, finely chopped).
First soak Kushen in five sheng of good wine in a porcelain bottle, boil using double-boiling method for one fu-shi (approx. 2 hours). Do not use fierce fire under the pot, but keep it constantly simmering [missing character]. Four liang [missing character] daily [missing character].

Dama Ren Jiu Method.
Dama Ren (Hemp Seed, 3 sheng), wash with water until clean, wait until dry, soak in one dou of wine overnight. Then mix with wine and grind to extract white juice, filter through raw silk. Then enter [missing character].
After taking the previous medicine, it is suitable to take Zi Qiezi Gen San (Purple Eggplant Root Powder) formula.
Zi Qiezi Gen (Purple Eggplant Root, sliced, dried, crushed, sifted to obtain 1 jin powder), Bai Yao Mo (White Medicine Powder, 2 liang), Gancao [processed until slightly red, crushed, sifted to obtain 1 (2) liang powder].
Mix the above medicines evenly. From after breakfast to evening, take three doses evenly. Each dose, mix with warm water and take two qian.

For treating Great Wind disease, Baihua Jian (Hundred Flowers Decoction) formula.
Baimi (White Honey, 20 liang), Suan Shiliu (Sour Pomegranate, 7 pieces), Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger, 0.5 jin).
Crush the fresh ginger and pomegranate together with their peels, squeeze to extract juice, filter again until clean. Mix into the honey until uniform. Use a porcelain bottle, first weigh to know the weight [missing character] bottle weight [missing character].

For treating Great Wind, worms in abdominal organs causing skin sores, change in voice, and loss of eyebrows and sideburns, it is suitable to take Rufang Jian (Frankincense Decoction) formula.
Ruxiang (Frankincense, 3 liang, finely ground), Xionghuang (Realgar, 2 liang, finely ground), Yuzhizi (Fructus Claoxyli, 2 liang, crushed to powder).
First, take the fragrance powder with one dou of water, in a silver pot, boil slowly over low heat until reduced to five sheng. Add Yuzhizi and Xionghuang, simmer slowly until it becomes paste.

For treating Great Wind disease, Divine Effect Formula.
Shuiyin (Mercury, 2 liang), Huang (Sulfur, 1 liang, finely ground), Songzhi (Pine Resin, refined, 2 liang, powdered).
Put the above medicines together into a crucible, melt over fire to form sand-like particles. Take one intact large crow, wrap in seven layers of wet paper, then wrap in mud to form a ball [missing character] each [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, it is suitable to take this formula.
Refined Songzhi (Pine Resin, 2 liang), Xingren (Apricot Seed, 1 sheng, soaked in water, skin and pointed ends removed, double kernel).
First crush the Xingren, gradually add water, grind and squeeze to extract five sheng of juice. Add Songzhi and boil for five to seven boils. While hot, filter out dregs, put into porcelain bottle [missing character].

For treating Great Wind disease, Yelangdu San (Wolf's Bane Powder) formula.
Yelangdu (Ligusticum Wallichii Root, 3 fen, stir-fried with sesame oil until yellow, then remove sesame oil), Qinjiao (Gentiana Macrophylla Root, 3 fen, remove sprouts).
The above medicines are finely crushed and passed through a sieve to become powder. Each dose is taken on an empty stomach and before evening meal, mixed with warm wine and taken as one qian.

For treating Great Wind disease, Molie Xiang (Myrobalan Fragrance) formula.
Molie Xiang (Myrobalan, 1 jin, select the brightest ones from within the nipple).
The above medicine is finely ground, mixed with five fen (sheng) of cow milk and four liang of Gancao powder, placed in a porcelain box, stirred uniformly, carried on a small table to the courtyard [missing character] middle. For treating Great Wind disease, Tianliao Zhou (Polygonum Multiflorum Porridge) formula.
Take Tianliao, scrape off coarse skin, finely chop four liang, boil in one dou of water until reduced to one sheng, filter out dregs. Use the juice to cook glutinous rice into porridge. Eat on an empty stomach [missing character].

For treating Great Wind Leprosy, stubborn numbness of muscles, contracture of hands and feet, long-term use lightens the body and prolongs life, improves complexion and prevents aging formula.
Refined Songzhi (Pine Resin) [3 sheng (jin)].
Grind into powder, place in a double-layered silk bag. Each dose, on an empty stomach and before evening meal, mix with warm unadulterated wine and take two qian.

For treating Great Wind disease, first it is suitable to take this Xuanxie Zaojiao Wan (Expurgating Gleditsia Pill) formula.
Zaojiao (Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit, 20 stalks, take ten stalks, remove black skin, coat with butter, roast until yellow and charred, remove seeds, crush and pass through sieve to get powder; take ten stalks, remove skin and seeds, beat until broken).
Add five sheng of water, boil broken Zaojiao until reduced to one sheng. Wrap in raw cloth, filter out dregs, boil again into paste. Mix with the previously obtained Zaojiao powder, form pills the size of paulownia [missing character].
