心劳病，应当补益脾气来滋养它。脾脏功能旺盛时就能感应并滋养心脏。如果人违背了夏季养生的规律，就会导致手太阳小肠经的气血生长不足，引起心气在内躁动。顺应这一病理机制进行治疗，可以治疗心劳引起的热证、口疮、心烦、腹部胀满以及小肠功能不利等症状，适宜服用大黄散方。

治疗心劳实热证，表现为皮肤毛发干枯焦躁，面色无光泽润泽，心神不安定，适宜服用茯神散方。

治疗心劳热证，心气与肾气相通，开窍于耳。如果心脏有病，耳朵就会干枯枯燥且鸣响，导致听力下降，听不清远处的声音，适宜服用磁石散方。
磁石（二两，去心，捣碎，用水淘洗去除红色汁液） 赤茯苓（一两） 木通（一两，锉碎） 人参（一两，去芦头） 羚羊角（一两，去心焙干）
以上药物，捣碎过粗罗筛成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，加入竹叶十四片，煎煮至六分水量，滤去药渣，每顿饭前温服。
治疗心劳实热证，容易受惊，梦中恐惧害怕、心神不安，适宜服用人参散方。
人参（一两，去芦头） 石膏（五两或一两） 沙参（一两，去芦头） 茯神（一两半） 赤芍药（一两） 磁石（二两，去心） 甘草（一两，炙微赤，锉碎）
以上药物，捣碎过筛成散剂。每次服用五钱，用水一大盏，煎煮至六分水量，滤去药渣，加入竹沥半合，生地黄汁半合，再煎煮片刻。
治疗心劳实证，表现为喜笑无常，四肢烦热，适宜服用石膏饮子方。
石膏（四两，捣碎） 茯神（一两） 犀角屑（一两） 川芒硝（一两） 栀子仁（一两半） 生地黄（一两）
以上药物，细切混合均匀。每次服用半两，用水一大盏，煎煮至五分水量，滤去药渣，加入堇竹沥半合，再煎煮一沸。
治疗心虚证，因劳损导致身体消瘦羸弱，四肢无力，心神昏沉闷乱，能祛除寒热症状，通畅腰脚，充实肌肤，益气力，适宜服用远志散方。
远志（一两，去心） 白术（一两） 肉桂（一两半，去皱皮） 人参（一两，去芦头） 鳖甲（一两半，涂醋炙令黄） 柏子仁（一两，去目） 酸枣仁（一两，微炒） 甘草（一两，炙微赤，锉碎）
以上药物，捣碎过细罗筛成散剂。每次服用一钱，用温酒调服，空腹及晚饭前服用。忌食鲤鱼和苋菜。
治疗心劳，或因风热侵袭，导致心神不安，睡眠很少，适宜服用犀角散方。
犀角屑（一两） 远志（三分，去心） 麦门冬（一两半，去心焙干） 桃花（三分） 酸枣仁（三分，微炒） 麻黄（一两，去根节） 葳蕤（一两）
以上药物，捣碎过细罗筛成散剂。每次饭后，用温酒调服三钱。
治疗心劳热伤，心中寄生长虫，各虫长约一尺，环绕心脏造成病变，适宜服用此方。
雷丸（一两） 野狼牙（一两） 陈橘皮（一两，汤浸去白瓤焙干） 贯众（一两） 桃仁（一两，汤浸去皮尖双仁，微炒） 桃白皮（一两）
以上药物，捣碎过罗筛成粉末，炼蜜调和捣击三二百下，制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次空腹，用米粥饮送下三十丸，以杀虫。
For Heart Labor Disease (Xin Lao Bing), one should tonify Spleen Qi (Pi Qi) to benefit it. When the Spleen is prosperous, it can sense and nourish the Heart. If a person violates the Qi of Summer, the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine channel will not grow properly, causing Heart Qi to move internally. Following this pathological mechanism for treatment can address heat syndromes caused by Heart Labor, mouth ulcers, mental restlessness, abdominal fullness, and dysfunction of the Small Intestine. To treat Heart Labor Excess-Heat syndrome, characterized by dry and scorched skin and hair, lack luster in complexion, and unsettled mind, it is suitable to take Fushen San (Poria Powder).
Sclerotium Poriae Cum Radix Xylomi (Fushen, 1 liang), Caulis Akebiae (Mutong, 1 liang, crushed), Radix Bupleuri (Shengma, 1 liang), Cornu Rhinocerotis (Xijiao, half liang), Lapis Haematites (Chishizhi, 1 liang), Radix Polygalae (Yuanzhi, 1 liang, heart removed).
The above medicines are coarsely ground and sieved through a coarse sieve. Take 4 qian per dose. Add 1 zhong of water and 1 fen of Zhuru (Bamboo Shavings) to the decoction. Boil until reduced to 6 fen volume. Strain off the dregs. Take warm after meals.
To treat Heart Labor Heat syndrome: Heart Qi connects with Kidney Qi, and opens into the ears. If there is Heart disease, the ears become dry and tinnitus occurs, leading to inability to hear distant sounds. It is suitable to take Cishi San (Magnetite Powder).

The above medicines are ground and sieved into powder. Take 5 qian per dose. Add 1 large zhong of water. Boil until reduced to 6 fen volume. Strain off the dregs. Add Banhe (half he) of Zhuli (Bamboo Juice) and Banhe of Shengdihuang Zhi (Rehmannia Root Juice).
To treat Heart Labor Excess syndrome, characterized by excessive laughter and vexatious heat in the four limbs, it is suitable to take Shigao Yinzi (Gypsum Decoction).
Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, 4 liang, crushed), Sclerotium Poriae Cum Radix Xylomi (Fushen, 1 liang), Cornu Rhinocerotis (Xijiao, 1 liang), Natrii Sulfas (Chuan Mangxiao, 1 liang), Semen Gardeniae (Zhizi Ren, 1.5 liang), Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Shengdihuang, 1 liang).
The above medicines are finely cut and mixed evenly. Take half liang per dose. Add 1 large zhong of water. Boil until reduced to 5 fen volume. Strain off the dregs. Add Banhe of Jin Zhuli (Jin Bamboo Juice) and boil for one more boiling point.
To treat Heart Deficiency syndrome, where labor damage leads to emaciation, weakness in the four limbs, and mental confusion and oppression. It can dispel cold and heat, unblock waist and legs, fill the muscles and skin, and boost Qi and strength. It is suitable to take Yuanzhi San (Polygala Powder).
Radix Polygalae (Yuanzhi, 1 liang, heart removed), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu, 1 liang), Cortex Cinnamomi (Rougui, 1.5 liang, wrinkled bark removed), Radix Ginseng (Renshen, 1 liang, radix removed), Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis (Biejia, 1.5 liang, coated with vinegar and fried until yellow), Semen Platycladi (Baiziren, 1 liang, eyes removed), Semen Ziziphi Spinosae (Suanzaoren, 1 liang, lightly stir-fried), Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gancao, 1 liang, honey-fried, slightly reddened, crushed).

Cornu Rhinocerotis (Xijiao, 1 liang), Radix Polygalae (Yuanzhi, 3 fen, heart removed), Radix Ophiopogonis (Maimendong, 1.5 liang, heart removed and baked), Flos Persicae (Taohua, 3 fen), Semen Ziziphi Spinosae (Suanzaoren, 3 fen, lightly stir-fried), Caulis Ephedrae (Mahuang, 1 liang, root and nodes removed), Herba Polygoni Multiflori (Weirui, 1 liang).
The above medicines are finely ground and sieved through a fine sieve. Take 3 qian per dose after meals, mixed with warm wine.
To treat Heart Labor Heat injury, where long worms reside in the heart. Each worm is about one chi long, encircling the heart and causing disease. It is suitable to take this formula.
Concretio Boliti (Leiwán, 1 liang), Herba Siegesbeckiae (Yelangya, 1 liang), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chenjuapi, 1 liang, soaked in hot water, white pith removed, baked), Radix Cyathulae (Guanzhong, 1 liang), Semen Persicae (Taoren, 1 liang, soaked in hot water, skin and pointed ends removed, lightly stir-fried), Cortex Trunci Pruni Persicae (Tao Bai, 1 liang).
