Shi Qi Bing (Seasonal Epidemic Disease) is caused by the disharmony of seasonal climates and irregularities in warmth and cold. When the human body contracts abnormal climatic qi, illness ensues. Such diseases are often contagious. Therefore, it is necessary to take medicine in advance and employ various methods for prevention.
To treat the mutual transmission of Shi Qi Bing, one must avoid contact with patients. During dietary care, sharing food or utensils is prohibited. If one person falls ill, the entire household becomes unsettled.
