以上药物，用半天河水一中盏，井华水（清晨第一次打的井水）一大盏，同煎至一大盏，滤去药渣。饭后分两次温服。

冬瓜瓤一两，晒干捣碎。用水一中盏，煎煮至六分，滤去药渣温服。

黍米泔水（洗黍米的第二遍水）一大盏，温服。

田中活螺（三升，洗去泥土）
以上药物，用糯米二升，煮成稀粥，水量可达二斗左右。待冷却后，将田螺放入冷粥盆内，用东西盖住饲养。等到螺吃尽粥，吐出泡沫，收集这些泡沫。随意饮用。

黄色的肥大栝蒌一颗，用酒一中盏，清洗取出瓤，去皮和籽，煎制成膏。加入白矾末一两，调和制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用不分时候，用粥汤送服十丸。

黑铅锉成粉末，用水银同结合成泥状。取大豆大小的一块，经常含在口中咽下津液。

Xiaoke (Wasting and Thirsting Syndrome) is characterized by thirst without a corresponding increase in urination volume. This condition arises from the long-term accumulation of mineral drugs, such as Wushi Wan (Five-Mineral Pills), taken in youth, leading to the binding of mineral toxicity in the Kidneys and dysfunction of the Lower Jiao (Lower Burner).
For Xiaoke presenting with body heat, mental restlessness, headache, and inability to eat, use Maidong San (Ophiopogon Powder).
Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, 2 liang, heart removed) Maogen (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 2 liang, sliced) Gualougen (Radix Trichosanthis, 2 liang) Lugeng (Bambusae Caulis Retinens, 1 liang, sliced) Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, 2 liang) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 1 liang, honey-fried until slightly red and sliced)
Crush the above herbs into a coarse powder. Take 4 qian per dose. Add 1 zhong of water and 100 grains of wheat. Decoct until 6 fen remains. Strain. Take warm at any time.
For persistent Xiaoke accompanied by mental restlessness and confusion, this formula is suitable.
