热病邪气在表。或者尚未发汗，或者已经经过发汗、催吐、攻下之后，表证仍未解除。毒邪未能消散，导致烦热且口渴，即使有水也无法饮用。因表虚里实，所以身体出现如锦绣花纹般的斑疹。
治疗心肺脏腑积热，毒邪攻冲于皮肤，全身生出红色斑疹；病情重者颜色呈紫黑色。适宜服用解毒香豉饮子方。

以上药物，捣碎过粗筛制成散剂。每次服用三钱，用水一中盏，加入竹叶十四片，煎煮至剩余六分药液。去渣滓，不拘时候，温服。
治疗热病发斑。适宜服用茵陈散方。
茵陈（二两） 川大黄（一两，锉碎后微炒） 玄参（一两） 栀子仁（一分） 甘草（半两，生用）
以上药物，捣碎过筛制成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，煎煮至剩余六分药液。去渣滓，不拘时候，温服。
治疗热病发斑，具有解毒功效。适宜服用牛黄散方。
牛黄（半两，细研） 人参（一两，去芦头） 栀子仁（三分） 川升麻（半两） 甘草（三分，生用）
川大黄（一两，锉碎后微炒） 槟榔（半两） 木香（一分） 犀角屑（一分） 羚羊角屑（一分）
以上药物，捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次服用时，不拘时候，用煎好的竹叶汤送服二钱。
治疗热病，由温毒大疫引起的发斑。适宜服用生地黄膏方。
生地黄（半斤，切片） 豉（一升） 雄黄（二钱，细研） 麝香（二钱，细研）
以上药物，用猪脂油一升（或一斤），慢火煎煮地黄和豉，煎去其三分之一的体积，剩二分时，绞去渣滓。加入雄黄和麝香，搅拌使其均匀，病即可痊愈。
治疗热病，毒邪外攻，皮肤出斑，狂乱燥热。适宜服用解毒犀角散方。
犀角屑（一两） 黄芩（一两） 栀子仁（半两） 大青（二两） 牛黄（半两，细研） 马牙硝（一两） 麝香（少许）
以上药物，捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次服用时，不拘时候，用煎好的竹叶汤调服二钱。
治疗热病发红色斑疹，心神烦躁。适宜服用升麻散方。
川升麻（一两） 川大黄（一两，锉碎后微炒） 甘草（半两，生用） 犀角屑（一两） 玄参（一两） 人参（一两，去芦头）
以上药物，捣碎过细罗制成散剂。每次服用时，用新汲取的冷水调服二钱，每日四五次。
治疗热病，温毒侵入人体，出现斑疹。红色斑疹者，十死一生；黑色斑疹者，百死一生。大瘟疫难以救治，均适宜服用此方。

以上药物，捣碎过筛制成粉末，用炼蜜调和并捣击三二百下，制成如弹丸大小的药丸。每次服用时，不拘时候，用新汲取的冷水研磨化开一丸服用。如果口渴，只喝水，不久应当感到寒冷，寒战停止后便会出汗而病解。如果未解，再服用一丸。
治疗热病，热毒发斑，遍布头面及全身。使用大青散方。
大青（二两） 阿胶（半两，捣碎炒至香燥） 豉（一合）
以上药物，都用水一大盏半，煎煮至一盏，去渣滓。加入阿胶使其溶解，不拘时候，分两次温服。
治疗热病，斑疮发于头面及全身，顶端皆含有白色浆液。
取优质蜂蜜，涂抹全身疮口处。也可以用蜜煎煮升麻，多次涂抹患处。
又一方：
用水浓煮升麻，用绵布过滤后清洗患处。
治疗热病斑发，须臾间遍布全身，顶端皆含有白色浆液。这是热毒邪气旺盛的表现。
右侧方法：煮葵菜叶以及韭菜根（韭薤），食用后即可止住。
又一方：
用新鲜羊血，服用二三合即可止住。初发病急症时服用。
When heat-pathogen is in the exterior, either sweating has not yet been induced, or after sweating, vomiting, or purging have been applied, the exterior syndrome remains unresolved. The toxic qi fails to dissipate, causing vexation, heat, and thirst; even with water available, the patient cannot drink. Due to deficiency in the exterior and excess in the interior, the body develops macules resembling brocade patterns.
To treat heat accumulating in the Heart and Lung viscera, where toxic pathogenic factors attack the skin, causing widespread red macules; in severe cases, the color becomes purple-black. It is appropriate to administer Jiedu Xiangchi Yinzi Decoction (Detoxifying Fermented Soybean Drink).

The above herbs are finely cut, mixed evenly. Each dose consists of 0.5 liang, decocted with one large cup of water, adding 0.5 fen of fresh ginger and seven cun of scallion white. Decoct until five parts remain. Strain and discard the dregs. Take warm at any time.
To treat heat disease manifesting as red eyes, restlessness, delirious speech, inability to sit or lie comfortably, and the emergence of red macules on the body. It is appropriate to administer Xijiao San (Rhino Horn Powder).

The above herbs are coarsely ground and sieved to make a powder. Each dose is 3 qian, decocted with one medium cup of water, adding fourteen leaves of Bamboo Leaf (Zhuye). Decoct until six parts remain. Strain and discard the dregs. Take warm at any time.
To treat heat disease with macule eruption. It is appropriate to administer Yincheng San (Artemisia Capillaris Powder).

The above herbs are finely ground through a sieve to make a powder. For each dose, at any time, take 2 qian administered with decocted Bamboo Leaf Tea.
To treat heat disease, specifically macule eruption caused by warm-toxic epidemic pathogens. It is appropriate to administer Shengdihuang Gao (Rehmannia Paste).

The above herbs are slow-cooked with one sheng (or jin) of lard. Decoct the Rehmannia and fermented soybean until three-tenths are evaporated, leaving two-tenths. Strain and discard the dregs. Add Realgar and Musk, stir until uniform. The illness will resolve.
To treat heat disease where toxic pathogenic factors attack externally, causing skin macules, mania, agitation, and dry heat. It is appropriate to administer Jiedu Xijiao San (Detoxifying Rhino Horn Powder).

The above herbs are finely ground through a sieve to make a powder. For each dose, mix 2 qian with freshly drawn cold water. Take four to five times daily.
To treat heat disease where warm-toxic pathogens invade the person, resulting in macule eruption. If the macules are red, mortality is high (five die, one lives); if black, mortality is extremely high (ten die, one lives). Epidemic diseases are difficult to save. All such cases should be treated with this formula.

The above herbs are ground into powder, mixed with refined honey, and pounded three to two hundred times. Form pills the size of a bullet. For each dose, at any time, grind one pill in freshly drawn cold water and ingest. If thirsty, drink only water. Soon, chills will occur; once the chills subside, sweating will ensue and the disease will resolve. If unresolved, administer another pill.
To treat heat disease where heat-toxin causes macules covering the head, face, and entire body. Use Daqing San (Indigo Naturalis Powder).
Indigo Naturalis (Daqing) (2 liang) Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao) (0.5 liang, crushed and stir-fried until fragrant and dry) Fermented Soybean (Chi) (1 he)
The above herbs are decocted with one and a half large cups of water until one cup remains. Strain and add the gelatin to dissolve. Take warm in two divided doses at any time.
To treat heat disease where macular sores erupt on the head, face, and body, all containing white pus/fluid at the apex.
Apply good quality honey over the entire body onto the sores. Alternatively, decoct Bupleurum Root (Shengma) in honey and apply it multiple times to the affected area.
Another prescription:
Decoct Bupleurum Root (Shengma) strongly in water, filter through cotton cloth, and wash the affected area.
To treat heat disease macule eruption that spreads rapidly over the whole body, all containing white pus/fluid at the apex. This indicates excessive heat-toxic qi.
Right method: Decoct leaves of Malva Verticillata (Kuicaiye) and leeks/scallions (Jiu Xie), consume them to stop the condition.
Another prescription:
Consume 2-3 he of fresh sheep blood to stop the condition. Administer urgently at the onset of the illness.
