眼睛，是由轻薄的膜包裹着水液构成的。它的本性是静止的，其功能如同明镜般清晰，能够观察事物并加以分辨，没有看不见的东西。至于气清神爽的时候，脏腑就会安宁调和。
治疗眼青盲（视力模糊或失明）的明目地肤子散方：
地肤子（一两）、石决明（一两半，捣碎细研，用水飞法处理）、羚羊角屑（一两半）、川芎、车前子、酸枣仁。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂。每次服用一钱，用黑豆汤调服。不限时间服用。
治疗眼青盲的真珠散方：
真珠末（三分）、胡黄连（三分）、石决明（二两，捣碎细研，用水飞法处理）、地肤子（一两）、琥珀（三分）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂。每次服用时，在空腹状态下，用温水调服二钱；夜间临睡前再服一次。
治疗眼青盲，多年不愈，适宜服用牛肝散方：
黄牛肝（一副，切碎晒干）、土瓜根（三两）、羚羊角屑（二两）、蕤仁（一两，用汤浸泡后去掉红皮）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂。每次在空腹时，用温酒调服二钱。
治疗眼青盲，看不见物体的地肤子丸方：
地肤子（半两）、蓝子（半两，微炒）、白蒺藜（半两，微炒去刺）、细辛（一两）、桂心（一两）、车前子（半两，锉碎微炒）、五味子（半两，酒浸三日晒干）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为粉末，炼蜜调和后捣三五百下，制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次在饭后，用温水送服二十丸。
治疗青盲，明目的柏叶丸方：
柏叶（一两，微炙）、夜明砂（一两，用糯米炒至黄色）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为粉末，用牛胆汁拌和，制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每晚临睡前，用竹叶汤送服二十丸。
治疗眼青盲，看不见物体，多泪，适宜点用此方：
雄黄（一两，细研）、细辛（一两）、干姜（一分，炮裂锉碎）、黄连（一两，去须）、蕤仁（三十枚）。
以上药材，捣碎筛成散剂，加入雄黄，拌匀。用蜂蜜二两和内，装入瓷瓶中，用油单严密盖好，放在饭甑内蒸一顿饭的时间。
治疗眼青盲，看不见物体，适宜点用真珠煎方：
真珠末（一两）、白蜜（二合）。
以上药材，混合在一起，用微火煎煮两沸。用绵布过滤取汁，每天点眼三四次。
治疗眼青盲的鱼脑点眼方：
鲤鱼脑（一枚）、鲤鱼胆（一枚）。
以上药材，混合调匀，每天点眼三四次。
治疗积年失明，形成青盲的神效决明散方：
决明子（三两）、蔓荆子（三两，蒸三顿饭的时间，每次晒干）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为散剂。每次在饭后，用温水调服二钱。
治疗眼青盲看不见物体的，适宜服用此方：
天灵盖（二两，多年的烂者，洗净涂酥炙至黄色）、龙胆（二两，去芦头）、白龙脑（一钱，细研）。
以上药材，捣碎过罗成为粉末，加入龙脑研匀。取黑豆一升洗净，用水煮至豆烂，过滤取汁，再将药汁炼成膏状拌入药中，制成丸剂。
治疗眼青盲，瞳神未坏者，治十得九方：
以上取蔓荆子三斤，蒸它直到看到热气上升，用锅中的热水淋洗它，晒干。再蒸再淋，如此重复三遍，最后晒干，捣碎过罗成为细粉。
The eye is composed of a thin membrane wrapping fluid. Its nature is still, and its function is clear like a mirror, enabling vision and discrimination, leaving nothing unseen. When the qi is clear and the spirit is refreshing, the zang-fu organs are peaceful and harmonious.
**Mingmu Difuzi San (Clear-Eye Kochia Seed Powder) for Treating Qingmang (Blindness with Clear Pupil):**
Kochiae Fructus (Difuzi, 地肤子) (1 liang), Haliotidis Concha (Shijuemou, 石决明) (1.5 liang, finely ground and washed by water levigation), Antelopis Cornu (Lingyangjiao, 羚羊角) (1.5 liang), Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix (Chuanxiong, 川芎), Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi, 车前子), Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren, 酸枣仁).
Crush the above herbs and sieve them into a powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with black bean decoction. Take at any time.
**Zhenzhu San (Pearl Powder) for Treating Qingmang:**
Nacreum Pulveratum (Zhenzhumo, 真珠末) (3 fen), Picrorhizae Rhizoma (Huhuanglian, 胡黄连) (3 fen), Haliotidis Concha (Shijuemou, 石决明) (2 liang, finely ground and washed by water levigation), Kochiae Fructus (Difuzi, 地肤子) (1 liang), Succinum (Hupo, 琥珀) (3 fen).
Crush the above herbs and sieve them into a powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm water on an empty stomach; take again before sleep at night.
**Niugan San (Ox Liver Powder) for Treating Qingmang Persisting for Years:**
Bovis Hepatis (Niugan, 牛肝) (one whole liver, finely cut and dried in the sun), Polygoni Cuspidati Radix et Rhizoma (Tuguagen, 土瓜根) (3 liang), Antelopis Cornu (Lingyangjiao, 羚羊角) (2 liang), Pruni Semen Persicae (Ruiren, 蕤仁) (1 liang, soaked in hot water and peeled).
Crush the above herbs and sieve them into a powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine on an empty stomach.
**Difuzi Wan (Kochia Seed Pill) for Treating Qingmang with Inability to See Objects:**
Kochiae Fructus (Difuzi, 地肤子) (0.5 liang), Isatidis Folium (Lanzi, 蓝子) (0.5 liang, slightly stir-fried), Tribuli Fructus (Bijili, 白蒺藜) (0.5 liang, slightly stir-fried and thorns removed), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin, 细辛) (1 liang), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin, 桂心) (1 liang), Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi, 车前子) (0.5 liang, chopped and slightly stir-fried), Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi, 五味子) (0.5 liang, soaked in wine for three days and dried).
Grind the above herbs into powder, mix with refined honey, and pound 300-500 times. Form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 20 pills after meals with warm water.
**Baiye Wan (Catalpa Leaf Pill) for Treating Qingmang and Improving Vision:**
Catalepsi Folium (Baiye, 柏叶) (1 liang, slightly roasted), Vespertilionis Uteri (Yemingcha, 夜明砂) (1 liang, stir-fried with glutinous rice until yellow).
Grind the above herbs into powder, mix with bovine gallbladder juice, and form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 20 pills before sleep each night with bamboo leaf decoction.
**Eye Drop Formula for Treating Qingmang with Inability to See Objects and Excessive Tearing:**
Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) (1 liang, finely ground), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin, 细辛) (1 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang, 干姜) (1 fen, processed, cracked, and chopped), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 黄连) (1 liang, whiskers removed), Pruni Semen Persicae (Ruiren, 蕤仁) (30 pieces).
Pound and sieve the above herbs into a powder, add Realgar, and mix evenly. Mix with 2 liang of honey, seal tightly in a porcelain bottle with oil paper, and steam in a rice steamer for the duration of cooking one meal.
**Zhenzhu Jian (Pearl Decoction) for Eye Dots for Treating Qingmang with Inability to See Objects:**
Nacreum Pulveratum (Zhenzhumo, 真珠末) (1 liang), White Honey (Baimi, 白蜜) (2 he).
Mix the above ingredients, boil gently for two boils, filter through cotton cloth to obtain the juice. Apply to the eyes 3-4 times daily.
**Yunao Dianyan Fang (Fish Brain Eye Drop Formula) for Treating Qingmang:**
Cyprini Carassii Cerebrum (Liyunao, 鲤鱼脑) (one piece), Cyprini Carassii Vesica Bilei (Liyudan, 鲤鱼胆) (one piece).
Mix the above ingredients evenly. Apply to the eyes 3-4 times daily.
**Shenxiao Jueming San (Miraculous Clear-Eye Powder) for Treating Long-term Blindness Resulting in Qingmang:**
Cassiae Semen (Juemingzi, 决明子) (3 liang), Viticis Fructus (Manjingzi, 蔓荆子) (3 liang, steamed for three meals' duration and dried each time).
Crush the above herbs and sieve them into a powder. Take 2 qian per dose with warm water after meals.
**Formula for Treating Qingmang with Inability to See Objects:**
Human Cranium (Tianlinggai, 天灵盖) (2 liang, from old cases, cleaned, coated with su (rendered fat), and roasted until yellow), Gentianae Radix (Longdan, 龙胆) (2 liang, rhizome removed), Borneolum Syntheticum (Bailongnao, 白龙脑) (1 qian, finely ground).
Grind the above herbs into powder, add Borneolum Syntheticum, and grind evenly. Take 1 sheng of clean black beans, boil in water until soft, filter to obtain the juice, refine into a paste, and mix with the powder to form pills.
**Formula for Treating Qingmang with Intact Pupil, 9 out of 10 Cures:**
Take 3 jin of Viticis Fructus (Manjingzi, 蔓荆子), steam until vapor rises, pour boiling water from the pot over it, and dry in the sun. Repeat steaming and pouring water three times, then dry and grind into fine powder.
**Formula for Treating Qingmang:**
Take five porcine vesicae biles, extract the juice, and slowly boil in a copper vessel until it can be formed into pills. Form pills the size of millet grains and insert into the eye as a test of efficacy.
