细辛 地肤子 决明子 松脂（以上各二两）
上件药。捣细罗为散。每于食后。以竹叶汤。调下一钱。

决明子（二两） 地肤子（一两）
上件药。捣细罗为散。每于食后。以清粥饮。调下一钱。
治眼雀目。至暮无所见。宜服花（老）柏皮散方。
花（老）柏白皮（二两锉） 乌梅肉（一两微炒） 细辛（二两） 地肤子（二两）
上件药。捣细罗为散。每于食后。以温水调下二钱。
又方。
猪肝（一具细切）
上以米泔一斗。煮令熟。置一小口器内。及热。开目就上熏之。甚效。
又方。
七月七日。九月九日。取地草净洗阴干。捣细罗为散。每于食后。以温酒调下二钱。
治雀目不计日月。抵圣散方。
苍术（二两）
上件捣细罗为散。每服一钱。不计猪羊子肝一个。用竹刀子批破。掺药在内。却用麻线

人中有白天视力正常，到了晚上就看不见东西的，世人称之为“雀目”，意思是说像鸟雀在黄昏时一样，就什么都看不见了。
治疗雀目，不分大人小孩，长期患病未愈的方剂。

治疗眼雀目，到了傍晚就什么也看不见，适宜服用花柏皮散方。
花柏白皮（二两，锉碎） 乌梅肉（一两，微炒） 细辛（二两） 地肤子（二两）
以上药物，捣碎过细罗筛成散剂。每次饭后，用温水调服二钱。
又一方。
猪肝（一个，切成细丝）
以上用米泔水一斗，煮至熟透，放入一个小口容器内。趁热，睁开眼对着容器口熏蒸，效果很好。
又一方。
七月七日或九月九日，采集地锦草洗净，阴干，捣碎过细罗筛成散剂。每次饭后，用温酒调服二钱。
治疗雀目，不论病程长短，抵圣散方。
苍术（二两）
以上药物捣碎过细罗筛成散剂。每次服用一钱，不论猪肝或羊肝一个，用竹刀剖开，将药末掺入肝中，再用麻线缠紧。
There are individuals whose vision is clear during the day but who cannot see objects at night. This condition is commonly referred to as "Sparrow Eye" (Que Mu, Night Blindness), meaning that like birds and sparrows at dusk, they lose their sight.
Prescriptions for treating Sparrow Eye (Night Blindness), applicable to both adults and children with chronic conditions that have not healed:
Arisaema Cum Bile (Tian Nan Xing) - one large tuber, processed until cracked; Saposhnikovia Root (Fang Feng) - half tael, removed rhizome and root head; Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin) - half tael; Coptis Rhizome (Huang Lian) - half tael, removed stamens; Sparganium Tuber (Gu Jing Cao) - half tael.
The above ingredients are finely ground and passed through a fine sieve to make a powder. Each dose consists of 1.5 qian. Take one slice of sheep liver, cut it in two places with a bamboo knife, insert the powdered medicine inside.
Another prescription:
Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin); Sparganium Tuber (Gu Jing Cao); Concha Tridacnae (Ge Fen); Cornu Saigae Tataricae (Ling Yang Jiao) - each half tael.
The above ingredients are finely ground and passed through a fine sieve to make a powder. After meals, take 1 qian mixed with warm water.
Another prescription:
Asarum Root (Xi Xin); Kochia Fruit (Di Fu Zi); Cassia Seed (Jue Ming Zi); Pine Resin (Song Zhi) - each two taels.
The above ingredients are finely ground and passed through a fine sieve to make a powder. After meals, take 1 qian mixed with decoction of bamboo leaves.
Another prescription:
Cassia Seed (Jue Ming Zi) - two taels; Kochia Fruit (Di Fu Zi) - one tael.
The above ingredients are finely ground and passed through a fine sieve to make a powder. After meals, take 1 qian mixed with thin rice gruel.
For treating Sparrow Eye (Night Blindness) where vision is lost by evening, Huabo Pi San (Bark of Old Cypress Powder) is suitable:
Cortex Cupressi (Hua Bai Pi) - two taels, chopped; Pericarpium Pruni Mume (Wu Mei Rou) - one tael, lightly stir-fried; Asarum Root (Xi Xin) - two taels; Kochia Fruit (Di Fu Zi) - two taels.
The above ingredients are finely ground and passed through a fine sieve to make a powder. After meals, take 2 qian mixed with warm water.
Another prescription:
Porcine Liver (Zhu Gan) - one whole liver, finely sliced.
Use ten dou of rice washing water to boil the liver until cooked. Place it in a small-mouthed vessel. While hot, open your eyes over the vessel to inhale the steam. This is very effective.
Another prescription:
On the seventh day of the seventh lunar month or the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, collect Polygonum aviculare (Di Cao), wash it clean, and dry it in the shade. Finely grind and pass through a fine sieve to make a powder. After meals, take 2 qian mixed with warm wine.
Disheng San (Powder Reaching the Sage) for treating Sparrow Eye (Night Blindness) regardless of duration:
Atractylodes Rhizome (Cang Zhu) - two taels.
Finely grind the above ingredient and pass through a fine sieve to make a powder. Each dose is 1 qian. Take one pig or sheep liver, cut it open with a bamboo knife, sprinkle the medicine inside, and tie it securely with hemp thread.
