以上药物，研磨成细末，混合均匀。加入生麻油，调至稀稠适宜。用浆水清洗疮面，擦干后，每日两次涂抹。
治疗面部长粉刺使皮肤光润悦泽的方剂。
硫黄（一两）、密陀僧（一两）、乳香（一两）、白僵蚕（一两，研末）、腻粉（一两）、杏仁（一两，汤浸去皮后研磨如膏状）。
以上药物，共同研磨成粉末，都用牛酥调和，调至稀稠适宜。用暖浆水洗脸后，擦干，将药涂抹其上。避免使用皂荚。
治疗粉刺导致面部黑白斑驳的方剂。
益母草（不限数量，烧成灰）。
以上药物用醋和浆水调和做成团块，用大火烧至通红。如此反复五次，然后细细研磨。夜间睡觉时，加入米粉涂抹。
又一方。
羊胆（五个，取汁）。
以上药物用好酒一升混合，煎煮至浓稠，涂抹于面部。
又一方。
以上药物用白矾灰细细研磨，用酒调和涂抹。每日更换二三次。
治疗面粉刺及黑斑的方剂。
以上药物用三年陈醋二升，浸泡鸡蛋五枚。经过七天，鸡蛋应当变得像泥一样。去掉醋，倒入瓷器中，加入相当于两个鸡蛋大小的胡粉。早晨用浆水清洗面部。

Cinnabar (Zhu Sha, 1 liang), Realgar (Xiong Huang, 1 liang), Lead Monoxide (Miduoseng, 1 liang), Moschus (Shexiang, 0.5 liang), and Calomel (Fenshuang, 0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients together into a fine powder. Mix with animal fat cream (Mianzhi) and apply evenly to the face at night. Wash off with warm fermented grain water (Jiangshui) the next morning.
Red Ointment Formula for Treating Facial Acne.
Cinnabar (Zhu Sha, 1 liang), Moschus (Shexiang, 0.5 liang), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, 0.5 fen), and Realgar (Xiong Huang, 3 fen).
Grind all the above ingredients finely and uniformly. Mix with animal fat cream (Mianzhi) to form an ointment. Apply evenly to the face. Avoid exposure to wind; after one night, the acne will naturally fall off.
Formula for Treating Acne and Facial Sores.
Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian, 2 liang), Japonica Rice (Jingmi, 2 liang), Adzuki Bean (Chixiaodou, 2 liang), Evodia Fruit (Wuzhuyu, 1 fen, stir-fried until yellow), Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin, 1.5 liang), and Cerussa (Hufen, mixed with a small amount of water and ground).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix thoroughly. Add Sesame Oil (Sheng Mayou) and adjust to the appropriate consistency. Wash the sores with fermented grain water (Jiangshui), dry them, and apply the mixture twice daily.
Formula for Treating Facial Acne to Enhance Skin Luster and Radiance.
Sulfur (Huangshi, 1 liang), Lead Monoxide (Miduoseng, 1 liang), Frankincense (Ruxiang, 1 liang), Bombyx Batryticatus (Bai Jiangcan, 1 liang, powdered), Calomel (Nifen), and Apricot Seed (Xingren, 1 liang, soaked in hot water, peeled, and ground into a paste).
Grind all ingredients into a powder and mix with Beef Tallow (Niusu) to achieve the desired consistency. After washing the face with warm fermented grain water (Jiangshui) and drying it, apply the medicine. Avoid using soap pods (Zaojiao).
Formula for Treating Black and White Mottling Caused by Acne on the Face.
Motherwort Herb (Yimucao, quantity unspecified, burned to ash).
Mix the ash with vinegar and fermented grain water to form pellets. Burn over high fire until completely red. Repeat this process five times. Then grind finely. At bedtime, mix with rice flour and apply.
Another formula.
Crush fresh Cuscuta Seed (Tusizi), extract the juice, and apply.
Another formula.
Sheep Gallbladder (Yangdan, 5 pieces, extract juice).
Mix the juice with 1 sheng of good wine, boil until thick, and apply to the face.
Another formula.
Grind Alum Ash (Baifanhui) finely, mix with wine, and apply. Change application two to three times daily.
Formula for Treating Facial Acne and Dark Spots.
Soak 5 eggs in 2 sheng of three-year-old aged vinegar for seven days until the eggs become mush-like. Discard the vinegar, pour the contents into a porcelain vessel, add Cerussa (Hufen) equivalent in size to two eggs. Wash the face with fermented grain water (Jiangshui) in the morning.
