Hematuria with dysuria (Xuelin) is a severe form of heat dysuria (Relin), characterized by blood in the urine, hence the name. The Heart governs the Blood. Blood circulates throughout the body, permeating the meridians and surrounding the Zang-Fu organs. Due to labor-induced heat, the Blood scatters and loses its normal course within the meridians, infiltrating the bladder (Pao) and resulting in hematuria with dysuria.
For treating hematuria with dysuria, where pain in the urination is unbearable, use the Bai Mao Gen San (White Imperata Root Powder) formula:
Bai Mao Gen (Rhizoma Imperatae Cylindricae, 1 liang, cut into pieces) Chi Shao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Rubrae, 3 fen) Hua Shi (Talcum, 1 liang) Mu Tong (Caulis Akebiae Trifoliate, 3 fen, cut into pieces) Zi Qin (Radix Scutellariae, 3 fen) Kui Zi (Semen Malvae, 1 liang) Che Qian Zi (Semen Plantaginis, 3 fen) Luan Fa Hui (Ash of Tangled Hair, 1 fen)

Strain and take warm. Administer another dose after walking approximately 5 kilometers (10 li). Continue until recovery.
