To treat wind-heat toxic qi that suddenly assaults the eyelids, forming lumps the size of rice grains or beans, named hordeolum (needle eye). The white part of the eye may resemble blisters, accompanied by pain and an inability to lie down or sleep comfortably. It is appropriate to take Dahuang San (Rhubarb Powder).
