上捣令极烂。纳米泔中浸一宿。去滓。平旦沐发。一月用之即长。
足少阴肾经的血液滋养于荣穴，气血旺盛则头发生长迅速且光泽亮丽；若气血虚弱，则头发难以生长，必须通过药物进行治疗。
使头发快速生长并变黑的方剂：

以上药材，切碎，用隔年的米醋三升，浸泡一夜，滤出药汁，加入麻油二斤、猪脂二斤，共同煎煮，直到药渣呈现焦黄色。
促进头发生长及生发的摩发膏方：
细辛（一两） 防风（一两，去芦头） 续断（一两） 川芎（一两） 皂荚（一两） 柏叶（二两） 荆芥子（四两） 竹叶（切，三合） 松叶（切，三合） 胡麻油（四升）。
以上药材，切碎，用桑根白皮半斤，加水三升，煮取一升药液，再取韭菜根汁三合与之混合，将药材浸泡一夜，日夜浸泡以促长发，使其快速生长。
使头发快速生长、变黑且润泽的胡麻膏方：
胡麻油（一升） 腊月猪脂（一升） 乌鸡脂（一合） 丁香（一两半） 甘松香（一两半） 零陵香（一两） 蓍草香（三两） 桑寄生（一两） 柏叶（二两）。
以上药材，全部切碎，用米醋浸泡一夜，滤出，放入油、猪脂、鸡脂中，用慢火煎煮，等到白芷颜色变为焦黄时，膏即制成。
促进头发生长的涂香油方：
松皮（一两或二两） 天麻（二两） 莽草（一两） 秦艽（一两，去苗） 独活（二两） 川乌头（一两） 零陵香（一两） 牛膝（一两，去苗）。
以上药材，切碎，用醋五升，浸泡一夜，滤出，加入生的胡麻油六斤，在锅中用微火煎至沸腾，等到白芷颜色变为焦黄时停止。
促进头发生长的神验方：
蔓荆子（三两） 青葙叶（三两） 莲子草（三两） 附子（三两，去皮脐，生用） 乱发灰（半两）。
以上药材，切碎，用酒五升，在瓷瓶中浸泡，密封瓶口，经过十四天后药成。使用前先用米泔水洗发洗净，每日用乌鸡脂调和涂抹，一个月左右头发可长高一尺。
洗头使头发生长的方剂：
梧桐叶（半斤） 大麻仁（半斤）。
以上两味药，捣碎，用米泔汁一斗，煮至五升，去渣，每日洗头，半个月后头发即可生长。
使头发容易生长的方剂：
蔓荆子（二斤） 附子（五枚，去皮脐，生用）。
以上药材，切碎，用酒一斗浸泡，用瓷器盛装，十日后逐渐涂抹使用。二十日后，另取乌鸡脂共同煎煮后涂抹。
又一方：
熊脂（一两） 蔓荆子（一两，研末）。
以上药材，混合均匀，用醋调匀后涂抹，头发会逐渐生长。
又一方：
莲子草（绞汁三升） 羊乳（一升） 麻油（二升） 猪脂（一升）。
以上药材，先煎羊乳至沸腾，其次加入油脂等，再煎煮两三沸，放冷，用瓷盒储存，每日涂抹头发，七日后见效。
又一方：
向东生长的枣根（三尺）。
将其横向放置在蒸笼中心，蒸煮它，两头流出的汁液收集起来，涂抹后头发即可生长。
The meridians of the Foot-Shaoyin (Kidney) channel nourish the Ying-Spring points; when Qi and Blood are abundant, hair grows rapidly and becomes lustrous. If deficient, hair fails to grow, necessitating treatment with medicinal herbs.

Process: Finely chop the above ingredients. Soak in three sheng of aged rice vinegar overnight. Strain the liquid. Add two jin of Sesame Oil (MAYOU) and two jin of Porcine Fat (Zhuzhi). Simmer together until the herbal dregs turn scorched yellow.

Asari Radix (Xixin, 1 liang)
Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 1 liang, remove rhizome head)

Process: Finely chop the above ingredients. Use half a jin of Morus Alba Root Bark (Sanggen Baipi) boiled in three sheng of water to yield one sheng of decoction. Mix this with three he of Allii Tuberosi Juice (Jiu Gen Zhi). Soak the herbs overnight, day and night, to promote rapid hair growth.
Hu Ma Paste for Rapid Hair Growth, Blackening, and Moisturizing:
Sesamum Indicum Oleum (Huma You, 1 sheng)
Porcine Fat from the Twelfth Lunar Month (Layue Zhuzhi, 1 sheng)
Black Chicken Fat (Wuji Zhi, 1 he)
Eugeniae Caryophyllati Flos (Dingxiang, 1.5 liang)
Nardostachyos Radix et Rhizoma (Gansongxiang, 1.5 liang)

Miraculous Formula for Hair Growth:
Viticis Fructus (Manjingzi, 3 liang)
Celosiae Spicatae Folium (Qingxiangye, 3 liang)
Alternanthera Philoxeroides (Lianzicao, 3 liang)
Aconiti Radix Preparata (Fuzi, 3 liang, remove skin and navel, raw use)
Ash of Tangled Hair (Luankui Hui, 0.5 liang)
Process: Finely chop the ingredients. Soak in five sheng of wine in a porcelain jar. Seal tightly. After fourteen days (two seven-day periods), the medicine is ready. Prior to application, wash hair thoroughly with rice washing water. Apply daily using Black Chicken Fat (Wuji Zhi) as a carrier. Hair may grow up to one chi in one month.
Hair-Washing Formula for Hair Growth:
Firmiana Simplex Leaf (Wutong Ye, 0.5 jin)
Cannabis Seed (Dama Ren, 0.5 jin)
Process: Crush the two ingredients. Boil in ten dou of rice washing water until reduced to five sheng. Strain. Wash hair daily. Hair will grow within half a month.
Formula for Facilitating Hair Growth:
Viticis Fructus (Manjingzi, 2 jin)
Aconiti Radix Preparata (Fuzi, 5 pieces, remove skin and navel, raw use)
Process: Finely chop the ingredients. Soak in one dou of wine in a porcelain vessel. After ten days, begin gradual topical application. After twenty days, boil with Black Chicken Fat (Wuji Zhi) and apply.
Another Formula:
Ursine Fat (Xiong Zhi, 1 liang)
Viticis Fructus Powder (Manjingzi, 1 liang, powdered)
Process: Mix uniformly. Dilute with vinegar and apply. Hair will gradually grow.
Another Formula:
Alternanthera Philoxeroides Juice (Lianzicao, expressed juice, 3 sheng)
Caprine Milk (Yangru, 1 sheng)
Sesame Oil (Mayou, 2 sheng)
Porcine Fat (Zhuzhi, 1 sheng)
Process: First boil the milk until bubbling. Then add the fats and oils. Boil for two or three more cycles. Allow to cool. Store in a porcelain box. Apply to hair daily. Effects visible after seven days.
Another Formula:
Root of Jujube Tree Growing Eastward (Dongxing Zaogen, 3 chi)
Process: Place horizontally on the center of a steamer. Steam it. Collect the juice dripping from both ends. Apply to the scalp to promote hair growth.
Another Formula:
Cannabis Seed (Dama Zi, 1 sheng)
Rice Oil (Miyou, 5 sheng)
Process: Pound until extremely fine. Soak in rice washing water overnight. Strain. Wash hair at dawn. Consistent use for one month will result in hair growth.
