上以水淋取汁洗之。三日一洗。不过十洗。即大生矣。
足少阴经的血气，其荣华表现在头发上。足太阳经的血气旺盛，则眉毛美观。足少阳经的血气旺盛，则鬓角毛发美观。若足阳明经血气虚弱不足，导致受血气风热邪气侵袭，致使眉毛、头发、胡须不生，适宜使用松叶膏方。

以上药物，切碎。先用桑根白皮一斤，加水八升，煮取五升药液，去渣。再加入竹沥一升，混合均匀。
治疗胡须、头发、眉毛都不生的方剂。
川升麻（二两） 荠苨（二两） 莽草（一两） 白芷（一两） 防风（二两，去芦头） 蜣螂（四枚，微炙） 雄鸡脂（半斤） 马脂（半两） 熊脂（半斤） 豹脂（半斤）
以上药物，切碎。用各种动物油脂混合，用慢火共同煎至沸腾。等到白芷颜色变成焦黄色时，停止加热，放置良久。去渣，装入瓷盒中。
治疗因血虚脑髓空虚、头风病，导致胡须、眉毛、胡须不生且稀疏薄少的方剂。
蔓荆子（半斤） 白芷 附子 防风（去芦头） 川芎 莽草 辛夷 黄芩 细辛（洗去苗土）
以上药物，全部切碎。用马脂一斤、猪脂二斤，用慢火共同煎煮。等到白芷颜色变成焦黄色时，停止加热。去渣，放冷后装入瓷器中。
莲子草汁（三升） 生莴苣油（一升） 牛乳（一升） 甘草（二两，切碎）
以上药物混合，在锅铛内，用慢火煎煮。刚像鱼眼一样冒泡时，就不断搅拌，直到泡沫尽散才算熟透。澄清过滤后装入瓷器中。
此药疗效良好。忌食生蒜、萝卜及辛辣食物。
治疗眉毛、头发、胡须不生，兼能使毛发变黑的方剂。
铁粉（二两） 附子（二两，去皮脐，生用） 羊踯躅（三两） 莲子草（二斤） 零陵香（三两） 没石子（一两）
以上药物，捣碎过粗罗成散剂。用生油五升，浸泡五到七日后，用慢火煎取一半以下的量。去渣，盛放在瓷盒内。
治疗眉毛、头发、胡须不生的垣衣散方。
垣衣（五合，晒干后捣碎过罗成末） 铁精（一合） 合欢木灰（二两） 水萍末（一合）
以上药物混合，研磨至极细。随时用生油调成膏状，涂抹于不长毛发的地方。日夜各涂两次，即可生长，效果极佳。
治疗眉毛、头发、胡须不生的松脂膏方。
以上药物，捣碎过罗成末。用乌鸡脂调和，盛放在瓷器中，密封口。在房屋北面阴凉处干燥，百日药成。细细研磨，用马脂调和。
又一方。
以上药物，捣碎过罗成末。用猪脂调和，做成三十丸。每天含服一丸，放入米泔水中化开，用来清洗患处。每日使用。
又一方。
锻石（三升）
以上用水拌炒，令其极焦。用绢袋贮存，用酒一斗浸泡。密封。冬季二十七日，春秋季节七日。取出温服一合。
治疗血虚，眉毛、头发、胡须不生，适宜使用此方。
大麻子（一升，熬至黑色）
以上压榨取脂。每天涂抹。三十日后逐渐生长。
又一方。
乌麻花，盛放在瓷器中，严密覆盖，埋入土中。六十天后取出，用来涂抹。容易生长且使毛发变黑。
又一方。
以上用温盐水清洗患处。之后用生油调和蒲苇灰，每天涂抹。逐渐生长。

羊粪灰（三斗）
The blood and qi of the Foot-Shaoyin (Kidney) meridian manifest in the hair. When the blood and qi of the Foot-Taiyang (Bladder) meridian are abundant, the eyebrows are beautiful. When the blood and qi of the Foot-Shaoyang (Gallbladder) meridian are abundant, the sideburns are beautiful. If the Foot-Yangming (Stomach) meridian is deficient, leading to attacks by wind-heat pathogenic factors affecting the blood and qi, resulting in the failure of eyebrows, hair, and beard to grow, the Pine Needle Ointment Formula (Songye Gao Fang) should be used.

Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, *Saposhnikovia divaricata*) [one liang]
Notopterygium Rhizome (Duhuo, *Notopterygium incisum*) [one liang]
Finely chop the above ingredients. First, take one jin of Mulberry Root Bark (Sanggen Baipi, *Morus alba*), add eight sheng of water, and decoct to obtain five sheng of liquid. Strain out the dregs. Then, add one sheng of Bamboo Juice (Zhuli, *Bambusa* species juice) and mix well.

Codonopsis Root (Qini, *Codonopsis pilosula*) [two liang]
Illicium Anisatum (Mangcao, *Illicium anisatum*) [one liang]
Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi, *Angelica dahurica*) [one liang]
Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, *Sapothnikovia divaricata*, remove the radicle head) [two liang]
Dung Beetle (Qianglang, *Scarabaeidae*) [four pieces, slightly roasted]
Male Chicken Fat (Xiongji Zhi, *Gallus gallus domesticus* fat) [half a jin]
Horse Fat (Ma Gao) [half a liang]
Bear Fat (Xiong Zhi, *Ursus* species fat) [half a jin]
Leopard Fat (Bao Zhi, *Panthera* species fat) [half a jin]
Finely chop the above ingredients. Mix with various animal fats and decoct together over slow heat until boiling. Wait until the Angelica Dahurica turns scorched yellow, then remove from heat and let stand for a long time. Strain out the dregs and store in a porcelain container.
Formula for treating non-growth and sparsity of beard, eyebrows, and hair due to blood deficiency, brain marrow emptiness, and Head Wind disease (Tou Feng).

Finely chop all the above ingredients. Use one jin of Horse Fat and two jin of Pork Lard (Zhuzhi, *Sus scrofa domestica* fat), and decoct together over slow heat. Wait until the Angelica Dahurica turns scorched yellow, then remove from heat. Strain out the dregs and store in a porcelain vessel after cooling.
Formula for treating non-growth of eyebrows, hair, and beard due to blood deficiency; the Green Lotus Ointment Formula (Qinglian Gao Fang) is suitable.
Juice of Cyperus Serotinus (Lianzi Cao Zhi, *Priveria serotina* juice) [three sheng]
Oil from Lettuce Seeds (Sheng Juliao You, *Lactuca sativa* oil) [one sheng]
Cow Milk (Niuru, *Bos taurus* milk) [one sheng]
Licorice Root (Gancao, *Glycyrrhiza uralensis*, finely chopped) [two liang]
Mix the above ingredients. In a cauldron, decoct over slow heat. When it begins to bubble like fish eyes, stir constantly without stopping until the foam dissipates completely, indicating it is cooked. Clarify, filter, and store in a porcelain container.
This medicine is effective. Avoid raw garlic, radishes, and pungent/spicy foods.
Formula for treating non-growth of eyebrows, hair, and beard, and simultaneously darkening them.
Iron Powder (Tiefen) [two liang]
Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, *Aconitum carmichaelii*, two liang, remove skin and navel, use raw) [two liang]
Rhododendron Dauricum (Yangzhizhu, *Rhododendron dauricum*) [three liang]
Cyperus Serotinus (Lianzi Cao, *Priveria serotina*) [two jin]
Lingling Fragrant Herb (Lingling Xiang, *Agrostemma liliago*) [three liang]
Myrobalan Stone (Moshi, *Terminalia chebula*) [one liang]
Coarsely grind the above ingredients into powder. Soak in five sheng of raw oil for five to seven days. Decoct over slow heat until less than half remains. Strain out the dregs and store in a porcelain container.
Yuan Yi San Formula for treating non-growth of eyebrows, hair, and beard.
Wall Moss (Yuanyi, dried and ground into powder) [five he]
Iron Essence (Tiejing) [one he]
Silk Tree Ash (Hehuan Mu Hui, *Albizia julibrissin* ash) [two liang]
Duckweed Powder (Shuiping Mo, *Lemna minor*) [one he]
Mix the above ingredients and grind extremely fine. Mix with raw oil as needed to form a paste. Apply to areas where hair does not grow. Apply twice daily, day and night; hair will grow. Extremely effective.
Songzhi Gao Formula for treating non-growth of eyebrows, hair, and beard.
Pine Resin (Songzhi, *Pinus* resin) [two liang]
Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, *Aconitum carmichaelii*, two liang, remove skin and navel, use raw) [two liang]
Vitex Fruit (Manjing Zi, *Vitex negundo*) [half a jin]
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Mix with Black Hen Fat (Wuji Zhi, *Gallus gallus domesticus* fat). Store in a porcelain container, seal tightly. Dry in the shade on the north side of the house. After one hundred days, the medicine is ready. Grind finely and mix with Horse Fat.

Cypress Leaves (Baiye, cut, one jin)
Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, *Aconitum carmichaelii*, two liang, remove skin and navel, use raw) [two liang]
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Mix with Pork Lard (Zhuzhi, *Sus scrofa domestica* fat) to make thirty pills. Take one pill daily, dissolve it in rice washing water, and use the liquid to wash the area. Use daily.

Calcined Stone (Duanshi, *Ferrum* calcined stone) [three sheng]
Moisten with water and stir-fry until extremely charred. Store in a silk bag. Soak in one dou of wine. Seal tightly. In winter, soak for twenty-seven days; in spring and autumn, for seven days. Take one he warm.
Formula for treating blood deficiency causing non-growth of eyebrows, hair, and beard.
Hemp Seed (Dama Zi, *Cannabis sativa*, one jin, fried until black) [one sheng]
Press to extract the oil. Apply daily. Hair will gradually grow after thirty days.
Another formula.
Black Hemp Flowers (Wuma Hua, *Cannabis sativa*). Store in a porcelain container, cover tightly, and bury in the earth. After sixty days, take out and apply. It promotes growth and darkens hair.
Another formula.
Wash the area with warm salt water. Then, mix raw oil with Cattail and Reed Ash (Puwei Hui) and apply daily. Hair will gradually grow.

Sheep Manure Ash (Yangfen Hui, *Ovis aries* manure ash) [three dou]
Percolate with water to obtain the juice. Wash the area with this juice. Wash once every three days. Within ten washes, significant growth will occur.
