Treats adults and children for wind-cold pathogens invading the intestines and stomach due to deficiency, leading to indigestion of food and fluids, watery diarrhea with urgent downward flow, empty distension in the abdomen and hypochondrium, borborygmus, and pain; as well as dysentery caused by damp-toxin, where excrement resembles bean juice or contains blood clots, occurring day and night without restraint. All these conditions are suitable for this prescription.
Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma), Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, removed rhizome base), Bai Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, removed sprout), Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex, removed coarse bark), Fu Ling (Poria, removed outer skin), all in equal parts.
Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder. Take two qian per dose, add one large cup of water and over one hundred grains of millet, decoct together until three-sevenths of the liquid remains, filter out the dregs, and take while slightly warm on an empty stomach. For children, reduce the dosage according to their capacity.
Eliminates accumulated cold, warms the Yuan Zang (Primordial Viscera/Kidney), warms the Spleen and Stomach, and promotes appetite. Treats various cold qi masses in the heart and abdomen, as well as constipation due to wind or cold in the elderly, curing all such cases.

Simmer together with natural ginger juice, mix evenly with dry steamed cake powder, pound hundreds of times in a mortar, and form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take fifteen to twenty pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with warm wine or ginger soup. For women, use vinegar soup.

Cut the above ingredients into coarse pieces. Take two large qian per dose, add one and a half cups of water, decoct until eight-tenths remain, filter out the dregs, and take warm before meals. The elderly, pregnant women, and infants with sudden diarrhea should take it immediately for prompt recovery. Avoid alcohol, wheat products, raw/cold foods, fishy smells, and greasy foods. If there is slippery diarrhea with nocturia lasting long without improvement, add three to four slices of Pao Fu Zi (Processed Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) and decoct.
