急以热土围脐旁，令人尿脐中，仍用热土，蒜捣，去滓，热水调灌。
又方 即取地浆水（系挖坑深三尺，取新汲水倾入内，搅浊澄清，名地浆水）一升饮之。
忌针刺谷食，发时觉腿转筋，过六时不治
辣蓼草（开时花穗如高粱状，梗高数尺有节，水边多有，即红蓼花也，舔之辣者是）八
两，捣烂，鲜木瓜四两（干者亦可），黄酒二斤，加河水煎汤，乘热揩洗手足麻木筋吊处，
渣遏心胸，立愈。
昏晕跌倒，气欲绝
急取道路热土一块，大蒜四五个（剥净衣皮），共捣烂，新汲水和匀，去渣灌之。或蒜
瓣冷水研灌（能嚼者自嚼冷水送）。如无水渴甚，急嚼生葱二寸，同津咽（此指行路）。
水蓼捣汁灌。或黑芝麻井水擂汁灌。或蒜头捣烂，取路上热土搅水饮之。
不可用冷水浇，亦不可饮冷水
急用草绳盘放脐上，以路上热土填放在内，令众人以
夏天入阴冷屋中及冷街巷内，易受阴暑
此症四肢厥冷，指甲唇舌皆青，昏迷不醒
急用鸡蛋十个，煮熟去壳，以好银簪插入蛋内，乘热置肚腹上，以手转蛋，俟蛋与簪变
黑色，则换之，十换即效。
食盐一握，擦拭前胸、后背、腰部及胁肋部，若出现许多紫点即可痊愈。或者捣碎蒜头涂抹于两足心。
如果患者已经死亡（假死状态）：
用姜汁滴入两眼眼角内，立即见效。重症者，在双眼及双耳四个角落均滴入姜汁，即可救活。

腹痛且昏晕，腰部感觉像被绳子缠绕：
真菜油一杯灌下，呕吐后即可痊愈。
禁忌针刺和进食谷物，发作时感觉腿部抽筋，超过六小时不治疗则无法救治：
辣蓼草（开花时花穗形状像高粱，茎高数尺且有节，水边常见，即红蓼花，舔起来有辣味者）八两，捣烂，鲜木瓜四两（干品也可），黄酒二斤，加入河水煎煮成汤，趁热揩洗手足麻木及筋脉拘挛处，药渣敷在心胸部位，立即痊愈。
昏晕跌倒，气息微弱欲绝：
紧急取路边的一块热土，大蒜四五个（剥净外皮），共同捣烂，用新汲取的水调和均匀，滤去渣滓后灌服。或者用蒜瓣在冷水中研磨后灌服（能咀嚼者自行咀嚼后用冷水送服）。如果没有水且极度口渴，紧急咀嚼两寸长的生葱，连同唾液一起咽下（此法适用于行路途中）。
以及干霍乱等一切突发暴烈的病症：
生姜汁一杯，童子尿二杯，同
水蓼捣汁灌服。或者黑芝麻与井水研磨成汁灌服。或者将蒜头捣烂，取路上的热土搅水饮用。
不可用冷水浇淋身体，也不可饮用冷水：

此症状表现为四肢厥冷，指甲、嘴唇、舌头皆呈青色，昏迷不醒：

A handful of salt is rubbed on the anterior chest, posterior back, waist, and hypochondrium; if many purple spots appear, the condition resolves. Alternatively, crushed garlic may be applied to the soles of both feet.
In cases of apparent death:
Ginger juice is dripped into the inner canthi of both eyes for immediate effect. In severe cases, applying it to all four corners (both eyes and both ears) will revive the patient.
Two jin of salt is stir-fried until hot, wrapped in two bundles of green cloth, and used to iron the back; replace when cool. Ironing above the umbilicus is also effective. (Also treats abdominal pain caused by cholera-like disease).
Urgently surround the umbilicus with hot earth from the road, have someone urinate into the umbilicus, then use hot earth again. Crush garlic, filter out the dregs, mix with hot water, and administer orally.
Another prescription: Drink one sheng of "earth slurry" (prepared by digging a pit three chi deep, pouring in freshly drawn water, stirring until turbid, and allowing it to clarify).
Abdominal pain accompanied by fainting, with a sensation of the waist being bound by a rope:
Administer one cup of genuine rapeseed oil orally; recovery occurs after vomiting.
Acupuncture and grain food are contraindicated. If leg cramps occur during an attack and six hours pass without treatment, it is untreatable.
Eight liang of Polygonum hydropiper (Laliao Cao), which has sorghum-like flower spikes, stems several chi high with nodes, commonly found by water (also known as red smartweed, tasting pungent when licked), is crushed. Four liang of fresh Chaenomelis Fructus (Mu Gua) (dried form is acceptable) and two jin of yellow wine are added, decocted with river water into a soup. While hot, wipe the numb hands/feet and areas of tendon contraction. Apply the residue to the chest and heart region for immediate relief.
Fainting, falling down, with breath nearly extinguished:
Urgently take a piece of hot earth from the road, four or five cloves of garlic (peeled), crush them together, mix with freshly drawn water, filter out dregs, and administer. Alternatively, grind garlic cloves in cold water and administer (if able to chew, chew and swallow with cold water). If no water is available and thirst is extreme, urgently chew two cun of raw scallion and swallow with saliva (this applies while traveling).
For dry cholera and all other sudden, violent conditions:
One cup of ginger juice and two cups of child's urine are mixed with
juice extracted from Persicaria hydropiper (Shuiliao) and administered. Or, sesame seeds ground with well water and administered. Or, crushed garlic mixed with water using hot earth from the road and drunk.
Juice extracted from Dolichos lablab leaves is drunk, or several bowls of earth slurry are drunk.
Do not pour cold water on the body, nor drink cold water.
Urgently place a coiled straw rope on the umbilicus, fill it with hot earth from the road, and have everyone...
Entering cold rooms or alleyways in summer easily leads to Yin-Shu (Yin Summerheat):
This syndrome presents with cold extremities, cyanosis of nails, lips, and tongue, and unconsciousness.
Urgently take ten eggs, boil them, peel them, insert a good silver hairpin into each egg, and while hot, place them on the abdomen. Rotate the eggs with hand; replace when the egg and pin turn black. Ten replacements yield effectiveness.
