大蒜十个，捣烂，入蛤粉为丸梧子大，每食前开水下二十丸，小便若多即愈。或五谷虫

此方奇效，勿令病患知晓，治一切水肿、湿肿、气肿、四肢肿
干鸡粪一斤（炒黄，须白者，如腊月白屎更佳），以黄酒三大碗煮一碗，滤去渣，一时
饮尽，少顷腹中鸣动，作泻一二次后，次日用田螺二个，滚黄酒泡食之，奇效。
按之随手即起者是
陈年大麦芽煎汤频服。或姜汁炒远志五钱，水煎服。
神方也
黄牛粪（男用雄牛女用牝牛），四五月取净者（阴干微火焙黄为末）一两，酒三碗，煎
一碗，去渣饮三服。
仙方也
土狗（即蝼蛄），焙干末，温酒吞下。（用上半截即消上身之水，用下半截即消下体之水，
左可消左，右可消右）

此方疗效奇特，不要让病人知道。用于治疗各种水肿、湿肿、气肿以及四肢肿胀。取干鸡粪一斤（炒黄，必须选用白色的，如果是腊月里的白色粪便更佳），用三大碗黄酒煮至一碗，过滤去渣滓，一次性饮尽。过了一会儿，腹中会鸣动，排便一两次后，第二天用两个田螺，用滚开的黄酒浸泡后食用，疗效奇特。
按压腹部后随手即起的是陈年大麦芽煎汤频繁服用。或者是用姜汁炒制的远志五钱，水煎后服用。
这是神效方剂。取黄牛粪（男性患者用公牛粪，女性患者用母牛粪），在四五月间采集干净的（阴干后用微火焙黄研成粉末）一两，加三碗酒，煎至一碗，去渣分三次服用。
这是仙方。取土狗（即蝼蛄），焙干研末，用温酒吞服。（如果使用上半截可以消除上身的水肿，使用下半截可以消除下体的水肿，左侧病变消左侧，右侧病变消右侧）。
我在丰宁县任职时，胸腹部患有水气病，日夜疼痛，各种药物都不见效。一天晚上梦见一位老者，向我展示了这个方子，服用后即痊愈。后来用它治疗他人，无不立即痊愈，因此刻印出来救济世人。据说兼治反胃噎隔，但我未曾尝试过。（作者自注）。另外，取米泔水一碗，将烧红的红木炭一二块淬入其中，澄清后饮用。
这是蛇积（体内有蛇形寄生虫积聚）。喝几碗醋泡大蒜汁，吐出一条蛇即可痊愈，如果不吐出再服用。
另一个方子：雄黄五钱，调水服用数次。
Ten cloves of garlic, mashed into a paste, mixed with *Concha Tridacnae* (Hagefen) to form pills the size of Chinese quince seeds. Take twenty pills with warm water before each meal; if urination increases significantly, the condition will resolve. Alternatively, use *Trogoderma granarium* larvae (Wuguchong, 五谷虫) (washed clean and stir-fried until yellow, then ground into powder), mixed with rice to form pills, taken with warm water.
This prescription is remarkably effective; do not let the patient know about it. It treats all types of edema, dampness-induced swelling, qi-induced swelling, and swelling of the four limbs. Take one jin (approx. 500g) of dry chicken manure (stir-fried until yellow; white manure is required, preferably from December/January, which is superior). Boil in three large bowls of yellow wine until reduced to one bowl. Filter out the dregs and drink the liquid in one go. After a short while, borborygmus (abdominal rumbling) will occur, followed by one or two bowel movements. The next day, consume two river snails soaked in boiling yellow wine. This yields miraculous results.
If pressing the abdomen causes it to rebound immediately, this indicates [a specific pattern]; frequent consumption of decoction made from aged *Hordei Fructus Germinatus* (Chenian Dayamai, 陈年大麦芽) is recommended. Alternatively, take five qian (approx. 18.75g) of *Polygalae Radix* (Yuanzhi, 远志) stir-fried with ginger juice, decocted in water and taken orally.
This is a divine prescription. Take one liang (approx. 37.5g) of clean cow dung collected in April or May (dried in shade, roasted lightly over low heat until yellow, and ground into powder). Use male ox dung for males and female cow dung for females. Mix with three bowls of wine, boil down to one bowl, filter out the dregs, and divide into three doses for drinking.
This is an immortal prescription. Take *Gryllotalpa africana* (Tugou/Lougu, 土狗/蝼蛄), roast until dry, grind into powder, and swallow with warm wine. (Using the upper half eliminates edema in the upper body; using the lower half eliminates edema in the lower body; treating the left side resolves left-sided issues, and vice versa).
If pressing the abdomen causes a depression that does not rebound, apply a paste of *Phytolaccae Radix* (Shanglu, 商陆根) and scallion white (Congbai, 葱白) stuffed into the umbilicus.
Burn pomelo peel (or *Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Rubrum*, Juhong, 橘红) to ash, mix with water, and ingest.
Stir-fry sand until scorched, boil in water, clarify, and drink. Alternatively, eat two or three raw garlic cloves.
When I was stationed in Fengning County, I suffered from water retention in the chest and abdomen, causing day and night pain, to which various medicines were ineffective. One night, I dreamed of an old man who showed me this prescription. Upon taking it, I recovered completely. Later, I used it to treat others, achieving immediate cures every time. Therefore, I had it printed to benefit people. It is said to also treat regurgitation and dysphagia, though I have not tested this myself. (Author's note). Additionally, take one bowl of rice washing water, quench one or two pieces of red sandalwood charcoal heated until red, clarify the liquid, and drink.
This is "snake accumulation" (parasitic accumulation resembling snakes). Drink several bowls of vinegar-soaked garlic juice. If a snake-like object is vomited up, the condition is cured; if not, take another dose.
Another prescription: Take five qian (approx. 18.75g) of *Realgar* (Xionghuang, 雄黄), mix with water, and take orally multiple times.
