歧伯曰∶夏以丙丁伤于风者为心风。心风之证，多汗恶风，善怒，心神颠倒，言语蹇涩
，舌强口干，面赤头疼，翕翕发热，胸背拘急，手心热甚，但多偃卧，不得倾侧，忪悸汗出
，恍惚不安，此皆风邪入于心经，致有斯证，名曰心中风也。
治心脏中风，虚寒颤，心惊掣悸，语声混浊，口歪冒昧，好笑，并宜服之。

岐伯说：夏季因丙丁日（火日）受风邪侵袭的称为心风。心风的证候，表现为多汗且怕风，容易发怒，心神错乱颠倒，言语蹇涩不利，舌体僵硬口干，面色发红头痛，微微发热，胸背部拘急不舒，手心热甚，只能仰卧，不能翻身侧卧，心悸出汗，精神恍惚不安，这些都是风邪侵入心经，导致出现这些症状，名为心中风。
治疗心脏中风，虚寒颤抖，心惊掣动悸动，声音浑浊，口眼歪斜神志昏蒙，喜笑不休，都适宜服用此方。
麻黄（去节，一钱）、白术（一钱）、防风（去芦，一钱）、川芎（一钱）、甘草（炙，一钱）、远志（一钱半，去心）
以上药材作为一剂，加水两盅，生姜五片，煎煮至一盅，加入竹沥半盏，再煮沸一两次，不限时间服用。
治疗心脏中风，言语涩滞昏闷，四肢沉重，精神不安。
茯神（去木）、羌活（去芦）、麻黄（去节）、龙齿（另研）、赤芍药、甘草（炙，各一钱）、蔓荆子（分半）
以上药材作为一剂，加水两盅，生姜四片，煎煮至一盅，不限时间服用。
治疗心脏中风，精神恍惚恐惧，烦闷扰乱无法睡眠，意志不定，语言错乱，都予以治疗。
牛黄（另研）、麝香（另研）、犀角屑、羚羊角屑、龙齿（另研）、防风（去芦）、天麻、独活、远志（去心）、天竺黄（各半两）
以上药材研为细末，研磨均匀，每次服用二钱，用麦门冬汤调服，不限时间服用。
Apothesis of Bamboo (Zhuli), Apothesis of Broom (Jingli), Juice of Kudzu Root (Gegen Zhi), Juice of Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang Zhi), White Honey (Bai Mi) [each 1 he]
Mix the juices of these five ingredients, take frequently, at any time.
Qibo stated: In summer, those injured by wind on Bing and Ding days are afflicted with Heart Wind. The manifestations of Heart Wind include profuse sweating and aversion to wind, irritability, mental confusion and disorientation, slurred speech, stiff tongue and dry mouth, flushed face and headache, slight fever, stiffness and tension in the chest and back, excessive heat in the palms, preference for lying supine without ability to turn sideways, palpitations with sweating, and mental vagueness with unease. These are all caused by wind pathogen invading the Heart Meridian, resulting in these symptoms, named as Zhong Feng of the Heart (Wind Stroke of the Heart).
For treating Heart Wind with deficiency-cold tremors, frightful palpitations, turbid voice, facial deviation with dizziness, excessive laughter, this prescription is suitable.
Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) [devoid of nodes, 1 qian], Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 白术) [1 qian], Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风) [devoid of radix tip, 1 qian], Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, 川芎) [1 qian], Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [roasted, 1 qian], Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 远志) [1.5 qian, devoid of heart]
Prepare as one dose, add two zhong of water and five slices of fresh ginger, decoct until one zhong remains, add half a zhan of Apothesis of Bamboo (Zhuli), boil for one or two more boils, take at any time.
For treating Heart Wind with slurred speech and drowsiness, heavy limbs, and mental unrest.
Poria Cum Ramo Xyli (Fushen, 茯神) [devoid of wood], Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo, 羌活) [devoid of radix tip], Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) [devoid of nodes], Dragon's Teeth (Longchi, 龙齿) [separately ground], Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao, 赤芍药), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [roasted, each 1 qian], Viticis Fructus (Manjingzi, 蔓荆子) [half fen]
Prepare as one dose, add two zhong of water and four slices of fresh ginger, decoct until one zhong remains, take at any time.
For treating Heart Wind with mental vagueness and fear, restlessness preventing sleep, unstable will, and confused speech, all are treated.
Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, 牛黄) [separately ground], Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香) [separately ground], Cornu Rhinocerotis (Xijiao, 犀角) [shavings], Cornu Saigae Tataricae (Lingyangjiao, 羚羊角) [shavings], Dragon's Teeth (Longchi, 龙齿) [separately ground], Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风) [devoid of radix tip], Gastrodiae Rhizoma (Tianma, 天麻], Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Duohuo, 独活 - *Note: Text says Duohuo but context implies Quedong or similar, sticking to text literal*), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 远志) [devoid of heart], Sinarum Bambusa Caulis in Taenia (Tianzhuhuang, 天竺黄) [each half liang]
Grind into fine powder, mix evenly, take 2 qian per dose, administer with decoction of Ophiopogonis Radix (Mendong Tang), take at any time.
