治眼翳及诸物入眼。
上以左手中指甲洗净候干，以刀刮其屑，用灯草蘸点眼中翳处，一二次即去。或用怀孕
妇人爪甲屑，置目中去翳。
能散风毒，退翳障，及赤烂弦者。
羌活 防风 川芎 白蒺藜 荆芥 蝉蜕 甘菊花（各二两）
上为细末，每服二钱，食后桑白皮煎汤调服。
治眼赤痛生翳障，远视不明，痒涩。
珊瑚（三分） 朱砂（二分） 龙脑（半钱）
上各研细，令匀，每以铜箸取一米许，日三四度点之，神效。
点翳膜障眼。
辰砂 乳香 胆矾 南硼砂 砂（以上各半钱） 麝香 片脑（各三字） 玄明粉（一
字） 朴硝（二两，安豆腐淋过，将建盏 ）
上为细末，以铜箸点之，研须极细。
治眼中障翳。
蝉蜕 蛇蜕 蚕蜕 猪蜕蹄 鲮鲤甲 防风 菊花 草决明 石决明 甘草（各等分）
上为细末，每服二钱，食后薄荷煎汤调服。
上以青羊胆点之，出本草。
能开一切内障，善治翳膜遮睛，及攀睛弩肉，不日扫除，无问年久日深，或一目两目俱
患，但能见人影者，悉皆治之，如云开见日。
黄连（四两，研末） 当归（一两，碾） 诃子（一对，去核，碾） 石决明（二两，
碾细） 石膏（一两半，碾，用腊八水或雪水浸三日） 大鹅梨（二十个，捶碎，用布扭去
滓） 猪胰（二具，用草夹细，去筋膜） 炉甘石（四两，火烧，童子小便淬，烧五次） 黄
丹（四两，炒，研细） 马牙硝（炮，二钱半） 铜绿（研） 真胆矾（研） 硼砂（另研，
各一钱半） 没药（四钱，另研） 乳香（三钱，另研） 防风（一钱） 天花粉（半钱） 轻
粉（一钱，另研） 麝香（半钱，另研） 片脑（半钱，另研）
上先将黄连等五味浸三日，却用大砂锅一口，内药水，再添满七分，熬，重绵滤过，至
四五碗，却入鹅梨猪胰再熬，至三碗，再滤过，再下锅，入炉甘石黄丹再熬，至二碗，又滤
过，却下马牙硝等八味，以槐柳枝不住手搅匀，候成膏，仍滤净入瓶内，却入脑麝粉三味搅
匀，以油纸密封，勿令水入，放冷水内浸三日取出，每用以铜箸点眼，良。
治疗眼翳以及异物入眼。
用左手的中指甲洗净并晾干，用刀刮取指甲屑，用灯心草蘸取这些屑点涂在眼睛中长翳的地方，一两次后即可去除。或者使用怀孕妇女的指甲屑，放入眼中以去除翳障。
能够疏散风毒，消退翳障，以及治疗眼睑红烂（赤烂弦）的方剂。
羌活、防风、川芎、白蒺藜、荆芥、蝉蜕、甘菊花（各二两）。
以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，饭后用桑白皮煎汤调服。
治疗眼睛红肿疼痛、生成翳障、视物模糊、眼痒且干涩。
珊瑚（三分）、朱砂（二分）、龙脑（半钱）。
以上药材分别研细，混合均匀，每次用铜筷取米粒大小的一点，每日三四次点入眼中，效果神奇。
点治翳膜遮蔽眼睛。
辰砂、乳香、胆矾、南硼砂、砂（以上各半钱）、麝香、片脑（各三字）、玄明粉（一字）、朴硝（二两，置于豆腐中淋滤过，再用建盏盛装处理）。
以上药材研成细末，用铜筷点入眼中，研磨必须极其细腻。
治疗眼中的障翳。
蝉蜕、蛇蜕、蚕蜕、猪蹄甲、鲮鲤甲（穿山甲鳞片）、防风、菊花、草决明、石决明、甘草（各等分）。
以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，饭后用薄荷煎汤调服。
以上方法可用青羊胆点眼，此法记载于本草著作中。
能够开通各种内障，善于治疗翳膜遮挡视线，以及胬肉攀睛（翼状胬肉），不久即可清除，无论病程长短、病情深浅，或单眼双眼患病，只要还能看到人影的，都能治愈，如同云开见日。
黄连（四两，研成末）、当归（一两，碾碎）、诃子（一对，去核，碾碎）、石决明（二两，碾细）、石膏（一两半，碾碎，用腊八水或雪水浸泡三日）、大鹅梨（二十个，捣碎，用布绞去渣滓）、猪胰脏（两个，用草夹细，去掉筋膜）、炉甘石（四两，火烧后，用童子小便淬炼，烧五次）、黄丹（四两，炒制，研细）、马牙硝（炮制，二钱半）、铜绿（研碎）、真胆矾（研碎）、硼砂（单独研碎，各一钱半）、没药（四钱，单独研碎）、乳香（三钱，单独研碎）、防风（一钱）、天花粉（半钱）、轻粉（一钱，单独研碎）、麝香（半钱，单独研碎）、片脑（半钱，单独研碎）。
先将黄连等五味药浸泡三日，然后用一个大砂锅，装入药水，再添满至七分满，进行熬煮，用多层绵布过滤，浓缩至四五碗，然后加入鹅梨和猪胰继续熬煮，浓缩至三碗，再次过滤，重新倒入锅中，加入炉甘石和黄丹继续熬煮，浓缩至二碗，再次过滤，然后加入马牙硝等八味药，用槐柳枝不停搅拌使其均匀，待熬成膏状，再次过滤干净装入瓶内，最后加入冰片、麝香、硼砂这三味粉末搅拌均匀，用油纸密封，防止水分进入，放入冷水中浸泡三天后取出，每次用铜筷蘸取点眼，效果良好。
Treats eye nebula (pterygium/corneal opacity) and foreign bodies entering the eye.
Wash and dry the nail of the middle finger of the left hand, scrape off the nail debris with a knife, dip a rush pith (Jieda) into the debris, and apply it to the area of the eye nebula once or twice to remove it. Alternatively, use nail debris from a pregnant woman, place it in the eye to remove the nebula.
Dispels wind-toxicity, reduces nebula and corneal opacity, and treats red and rotting eyelid margins (Chi Lan Xian).
Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baijili (Tribuli Fructus), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Chantui (Cicadae Periostracum), Ganjuhua (Chrysanthemi Flos) (each 2 liang).
Grind the above herbs into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with decoction of Sangbaipi (Mori Cortex) after meals.
Treats redness and pain in the eyes, formation of nebula and corneal opacity, blurred distant vision, itching, and dryness.
Shanhu (Corallium Rubrum) (3 fen), Zhusha (Cinnabaris) (2 fen), Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) (0.5 qian).
Grind each ingredient finely and mix evenly. Use a chopstick to take an amount the size of a rice grain, apply to the eye 3-4 times daily. It is highly effective.
Apply to treat nebula and membrane obscuring the eye.
Chensha (Cinnabaris), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Danfan (Calomel), Nanbingsha (Borax), Sha (Realgar) (each 0.5 qian), Shexiang (Moschus), Piannao (Borneolum Syntheticum) (each 3 zi), Xuanmingfen (Mirabilite), Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas) (2 liang, filtered through tofu, processed in a Jian cup).
Grind all ingredients into extremely fine powder. Apply with a chopstick.
Treats nebula and opacity in the eye.
Chantui (Cicadae Periostracum), Shetui (Serpentis Cutis), Cantui (Bombycis Batryticatus), Zhuitijia (Sus Hoof), Lingli Jia (Manis Squama), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Juhua (Chrysanthemi Flos), Caojueming (Cassiae Semen), Shijueming (Concha Argoensis), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (equal parts).
Grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with decoction of Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) after meals.
The above method involves applying green sheep gallbladder juice to the eye, as recorded in Bencao materia medica.
Opens various internal cataracts, effectively treats nebula and membranes obscuring vision, and pterygium (Pang Jing Nu Rou). Clears them within a short time, regardless of duration or severity, whether affecting one or both eyes, provided the patient can still see human shadows. It is as clear as the sun emerging from clouds.
Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) (4 liang, ground to powder), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (1 liang, crushed), Hezi (Terminaliae Chebulae Fructus) (1 pair, pitted, crushed), Shijueming (Concha Argoensis) (2 liang, finely ground), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) (1.5 liang, ground, soaked for 3 days in Laba water or snow water), Da E Li (Pyrus bretschneideri) (20 fruits, crushed, juice extracted by squeezing through cloth), Zhu Yi (Pancreas Porcinum) (2 pieces, minced with grass, tendons removed), Luganshi (Calamina), Huangdan (Lithargyri), Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas Crystallisatus) (processed, 2.5 qian), Tonglv (Chalcanthitum), Zhen Danfan (Calomel), Bingsha (Borax) (separately ground, each 1.5 qian), Moyao (Myrrha), Ruxiang (Olibanum) (separately ground, 3 qian), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) (1 qian), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix) (0.5 qian), Qingfen (Calomel) (separately ground, 1 qian), Shexiang (Moschus) (separately ground, 0.5 qian), Piannao (Borneolum Syntheticum) (separately ground, 0.5 qian).
First, soak Huanglian and the other four herbs for three days. Then, place them in a large clay pot with the medicinal liquid, filling it to seven-tenths full. Boil, filter through multiple layers of cotton cloth, and reduce to 4-5 bowls. Add E Li juice and Zhu Yi, boil again until reduced to 3 bowls, filter again, return to the pot, add Luganshi and Huangdan, boil until reduced to 2 bowls, and filter again. Add Mayaxiao and the other eight herbs, stir constantly with locust or willow branches until a paste forms. Filter cleanly into a bottle. Add Piannao, Shexiang, and Bingsha powders, mix well. Seal tightly with oil paper to prevent moisture ingress. Soak in cold water for three days, then remove. Apply to the eye with a chopstick. It is beneficial.
