上作一服，用水二盅，生姜五片，煎至一盅，食前温服。
治脾肺有热，虚烦上壅，咽喉生疮。
鸡苏叶 荆芥穗 防风 桔梗 生蒡子（炒） 人参 甘草（各一两）
上为细末，每服二钱，不拘时沸汤点服，如咽痛口疮甚者，加僵蚕一两。
治一切风热疥疠等疾。
方见风门
治丈夫妇人三焦积热，咽喉肿闭，心膈烦躁，小便赤涩，大便秘结。
黄连（去须） 黄芩（去芦） 大黄（煨，各十两）。
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大，每服四十丸，热水送下。一方以脑麝为衣，丸如大
豆，夜间含化一二丸亦可。

以上药材作为一剂服用，用水两盅，煎煮至一盅，饭后服用。
治疗血分热邪蕴结、阻滞不通的症状。

治疗心劳所致实热，出现口疮，心烦意乱、腹部胀满，小便不利。
黄芩、泽泻、栀子仁、生干地黄、木通、黄连（去须）、麦门冬（去心）、甘草（炙制，一钱二分）
以上药材作为一剂服用，用水两盅，加入生姜五片，煎煮至一盅，饭前温服。
治疗脾肺有热，虚烦气机上逆壅塞，咽喉部长疮疡。
鸡苏叶、荆芥穗、防风、桔梗、生蒡子（炒制）、人参、甘草（各一两）
以上药材研为细末，每次服用二钱，不拘泥于固定时间，用沸水冲服；如果咽痛、口疮严重，可加僵蚕一两。
治疗各种风热引起的疥癣、疠风等疾病。
方剂见“风门”章节。
治疗男妇三焦积热，导致咽喉肿胀闭塞，心胸膈部烦躁不安，小便红赤涩痛，大便秘结不通。
黄连（去须）、黄芩（去芦）、大黄（煨制，各十两）
以上药材研为细末，用炼蜜制成丸药，大小如梧桐子，每次服用四十丸，用热水送下。另一法是用冰片、麝香为衣，丸药大小如大豆，夜间含化一二丸也可以。
Treats wind congestion with phlegm and saliva, and irritability and heat in the upper jiao (upper burner).
Zhiqiao (Fructus Aurantii), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri), Qianhu (Radix Peucedani), Fuling (Poria), Qianghuo (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii), Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis), Qingpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (each 1 qian).
Take all ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water and one spike of Jingjie (Herba Schizonepetae), decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
Treats irritability and oppression caused by heat toxicity, dry mouth with groaning, severe internal accumulation of heat where other medicines cannot reduce the heat.

Treats accumulated heat in the Lung meridian, causing upper asthma and cough, distension and fullness in the chest and hypochondrium, excessive phlegm, and constipation.
Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Zhizi (Fructus Gardeniae), Zhiqiao (Fructus Aurantii, stir-fried), Bohe (Herba Menthae), Lianqiao (Fructus Forsythiae), Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum, stir-fried and peeled), Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori Radicis), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei), Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried) (each 1 qian).
Take all ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water, decoct until one zhong remains. Take orally after meals.
Treats Lung congestion and brain heat, causing dry nose without mucus, constipation in the large intestine, and restlessness during sleep.
Tianmendong (Radix Asparagi), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei), Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae), Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori Radicis), Zhiqiao (Fructus Aurantii), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (each 1 qian 2 fen), Jingjie (Herba Schizonepetae) (2 qian 4 fen).
Take all ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water, decoct until one zhong remains. Take after meals.
Treats blood heat with stagnation and congestion.

Treats excess heat from heart labor, mouth ulcers, irritability with abdominal fullness, and difficult urination.
Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Zexie (Rhizoma Alismatis), Zhiziren (Semen Gardeniae), Shenggan Dihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Mutong (Caulis Akebiae), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, remove stamens), Maimendong (Radix Ophiopogonis, remove core), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried) (1 qian 2 fen).
Take all ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water and five slices of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), decoct until one zhong remains. Take warm before meals.
Treats heat in the Spleen and Lung, deficiency-heat with upward congestion, and sores in the throat.
Jisu Ye (Herba Elsholtziae), Jingjie Sui (Capitulum Schizonepetae), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Sheng Bangzi (Fructus Arctii, stir-fried), Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) (each 1 liang).
Grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, decoct with boiling water at any time. If throat pain or mouth sores are severe, add Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus) 1 liang.
Treats various skin diseases such as scabies and leprosy caused by wind-heat.

Treats accumulated heat in the Sanjiao (Triple Burner) in men and women, causing swelling and closure of the throat, irritability in the heart and diaphragm, red and scanty urine, and constipation.
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, remove stamens), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove rhizome), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, baked) (each 10 liang).
Grind into fine powder, make pills with refined honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 40 pills each time, swallow with hot water. Another method: coat with Naoshe (Camphor and Moschus), make pills size of soybeans, dissolve one or two pills in the mouth at night.
