A woman exerted herself too much during childbirth, resulting in a fleshy cord hanging out postpartum, three to four chi long. Touching it caused pain radiating to the heart and abdomen, nearly causing death. A Daoist priest instructed buying three jin of old ginger with skin, mashing it, adding two jin of sesame oil, mixing well, and stir-frying until dry. First, fold five chi of cooked silk into a square knot, gently lift the fleshy cord, coil it into three loops, and insert it back into the vaginal opening. Then use a silk bag filled with the ginger mixture to fumigate the area, replacing it when cool. After one day and night, it retracted significantly; by the second day, it was fully retracted. It is said this is a secret prescription from Lady Wei. However, the cord must not break; if it breaks, it cannot be cured.
