治肠风脏毒，下血不止。

治大人、小儿便血日久，多食易饥并赤痢、脏毒等症。用宣州大黄连不拘多少，去毛洗
净，为末如面，用雄猪大肠一截，将黄连末入内，两头扎定，入锅煮熟，以烂为度取出，入
石臼内杵丸，桐子大。早晚服三十丸，白汤下。

川芎、当归、黄芪、神曲（炒制）、地榆、槐花各五钱，阿胶（炒制）、血余炭、荆芥、木贼各二钱。制成蜜丸，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五十丸，空腹用酒送服。
治疗成人、小儿便血日久，多食易饥以及赤痢、脏毒等症。取宣州产的大黄连不拘多少，去除毛须洗净，研成粉末如同面粉状，取雄猪大肠一段，将黄连末装入其中，两头扎紧，放入锅中煮熟，以煮烂为度取出，放入石臼内捣碎制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。早晚各服用三十丸，用白开水送服。
火麻仁五钱（单独研磨），大黄一斤（蒸后焙干），枳实八两（炒制），厚朴八两（姜汁炒制），杏仁五两五钱（浸泡去除苦水及皮尖，炒制）。制成蜜丸，大小如梧桐子。每晚睡前服用二十丸，用白开水送服。
Rhino Horn (Xijiao) 1 qian, Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Mudan Pi (Moutan Cortex), Baishao (White Peony Root), Puhuang (Typhae Pollen, stir-fried), Zhizi Ren (Gardeniae Semen, stir-fried), Huangqi (Astragali Radix) each 1 qian, Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) 1 qian. Decoct in water and take orally.
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baishao (White Peony Root), Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Huaihua (Sophorae Flos) each 1 qian, Jinghuanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma from well bottom, stir-fried), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, stir-fried), Zhizi Ren (Gardeniae Semen, stir-fried) each 5 fen. Decoct in water and take on an empty stomach.
Treats Changfeng Zangdu (Intestinal Wind and Visceral Toxin), persistent hematochezia.
Huaijiao (Sophorae Fructus Immaturus), Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Huangqi (Astragali Radix) each 2 liang, Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, stir-fried), Qinjiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus), Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Tiaoping (Scutellariae Radix). Make into honey pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, gradually increase to 100 pills and stop, take with warm wine on an empty stomach.
Also treats persistent hematochezia.
Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Shenqu (Medicated Leaven, stir-fried), Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix), Huaihua (Sophorae Flos) each 5 qian, Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, stir-fried), Fazhui (Emberized Hair), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica), Muzei (Equiseti Herba) each 2 qian. Make into honey pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, take with wine on an empty stomach.
Treats prolonged hematochezia in adults and children, polyphagia with easy hunger, as well as red dysentery and Zangdu (Visceral Toxin) syndromes. Use Xuanzhou Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma from Xuanzhou) without limit, remove roots and wash clean, grind into powder like flour. Take one segment of male pig large intestine, insert the Huanglian powder inside, tie both ends tightly, boil in a pot until soft and rotten, then remove. Pound in a stone mortar to make pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 30 pills morning and evening, swallow with plain boiled water.
Haren (Cannabis Fructus) 5 qian (separately ground), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) 1 jin (steamed and baked), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus) 8 liang (stir-fried), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex) 8 liang (stir-fried with ginger juice), Xingren (Prunus Armeniacae Semen) 5 liang 5 qian (soaked to remove bitter water, skin and tips removed, stir-fried). Make into honey pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 20 pills before sleep, swallow with plain boiled water.
Sheng Dahuang (Raw Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) 6 qian, Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica) 3 qian, Pixiao (Natrii Sulfas) 3 qian. Grind into powder, mix with cold water and take orally. If urinary retention occurs, add Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica) 3 qian, Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) 6 qian.
Ten Snails (Tianluo), seven stalks of Scallion White (Congbai), 5 fen of Musk (Shexiang), 5 fen of Calomel (Qingfen). Pound together into a paste, apply to the umbilicus, and heat with an ironing pan; this can immediately save a life.
