The qi of a newborn infant is not yet pure; it still requires swallowing "Mu Geng" (Wood Mercury, referring to specific internal alchemical essence or symbolic imagery) to restore the primal truth.
Observe how, after three years of nursing and nurturing, the child becomes spiritually sensitive; this transformation is indeed miraculous.
Ancient texts state: An infant just born has not yet reached adulthood and must rely on the nurturing grace akin to Kun's (Earth/Mother) virtue. Three years of breastfeeding are necessary for such spiritual transformation to occur. Therefore, one must still swallow Mu Geng to restore the primal truth. This does not literally mean three calendar years, but specifically refers to completing three cycles of the Microcosmic Orbit (Zhou Tian).
Although the core alchemical work is complete, further effort remains: sit in meditation with a quiet mind within grotto-heavens.
Forget the physical form and enter deep samadhi for nine years; only by shattering the void can one truly attain emptiness.
The practice of facing the wall belongs to non-action (Wu Wei). The Lady of Non-Two States said: "All affairs are said to be finished, sitting motionless in a small niche, lightening the body to ride purple qi, purifying the nature in clear pools, qi blends yin and yang into one, spirit aligns with heaven and earth in three, upon completion of merit, bowing at the Jade Palace, whistling long while exiting the mist." Thus, when the nursing stage of cultivation is complete, one must choose famous mountain grottoes to sit in meditation, face the wall, and regulate the spirit. Going out, take the Great Void as the realm of transcendence; going in, take the Upper Dantian as the dwelling place. Forgetting the form to enter samadhi is to refine true emptiness. Refining until there is no emptiness left to refine, shattering the void, allows the divine spirit to return to emptiness. This is why Bodhidharma had to face the wall for nine years.
Refining to the state of true emptiness raises the Dao higher; alchemical decrees descend, stepping into the clouds.
From now on, residing forever in the Jade Pool Garden, attending morning court alongside the Spirit Consorts.
The Lady of Non-Two States said: "The auspicious time has just emerged from the valley, reaching the Divine Sky in mere inches." She also said: "Once immortal and mortal realms separate, crossing the sea tide in coldness and heat."
Since the divine spirit has returned to emptiness, ascension has its appointed time. Heavenly decrees descend, cloud cranes come to welcome, attending banquets at the Jade Pool, paying homage to the Queen Mother to receive diagrams. The jade towers and palaces become my home, Xiang Fei and Yao Ji become my companions. What joy could surpass this?
However, I worry that the universe lacks resolute women; without them, one cannot associate with Magu. If one is a hero among women, cultivating virtue and swearing oaths to heaven, seeking sincerely with an empty heart, and practicing this Dao, it is easier to achieve than for men. People should resolve to encourage themselves.
Taiyin Body Refinement differs little from men's cultivation methods. At the initial stage, close the eyes and preserve the spirit, resting deeply to calm the mind and regulate breathing, then condense the spirit into the Qi Gate (located above the heart pit between the two breasts); cross both hands to hold the breasts, gently massaging twenty times; draw qi slightly upward from the Lower Dantian thirty-six times; continue holding the breasts, reflecting inward to regulate breath. Over time, true qi naturally flows back and forth, opening and closing, cultivating Yin E (the accumulation of essence and qi in the dantian), filling the spirit and qi, causing True Yang to flourish naturally, menstruation ceases, breasts flatten like those of men—this is called "Slaying the Red Dragon." After prolonged practice, there is no need to hold the breasts or inhale qi; simply focus the spirit on the Qi Gate and reflect the light inward—this is called the Mysterious Female Gate. True breath flows leisurely, reaching extreme emptiness and profound stillness, yang qi steams, the River Cart turns. Ten thousand purple clouds cover the jade universe, a thousand blood vessels penetrate Niwan. One feels a spark of spiritual light, neither inside nor outside, rising from the Lower Dantian to the Heart Palace and Niwan, descending through Chong Lou to return to the Golden Womb Divine Chamber. Reflecting light and condensing spirit, true breath resides in the Central Palace Cauldron; this is the spirit entering the chamber, which is the Mysterious Female, the Fetal Immortal, i.e., the single point falling into the Yellow Court. In the subsequent ten months of work, the Yang Spirit appears, shattering the void. The path of true cultivation thereafter is identical to men's, with no distinction between genders.
