方东野，两胁痛，上壅至胸，发热，饮食不进。脉左手沉而弦数，乃积气也。右手滑，
痰饮
也。关脉濡弱，脾气不充也。据症或触于怒，故痛之暴耳。治当先去积热，消痰气，然后用
补。栝蒌仁六钱，枳壳、姜连、半夏各一钱半，白芥子一钱，牡蛎二钱，炙甘草五分，柴胡
一钱五分，二帖，诸症尽去，饮食进矣。然恐其复发也。与当归龙荟丸使行之，以刈其根。
服下果行两次。
一妇人怀妊七月，内热咳嗽，胸膈饱闷。以条芩二钱，栝蒌仁、白芍药、紫菀、贝母、
桑白皮各一钱，甘草三分，枳壳、紫苏梗、知母、陈皮各七分，两帖而愈。
一妇人心痛，唇红，痛则大发热，头疼，少顷出汗，脉大小不一。予曰∶此虫痛之症，
痛吐
白沫可征也。槟榔、川椒各二钱，杏仁一钱五分，石菖蒲一钱，乌梅七个，炮姜、草豆仁、
陈皮各五分，山栀仁一钱，一进而痛减半，再进而痛全除。
倪二南内人小产后小腹痛，夜分作热，作晕。予曰∶此气血虚而恶露未尽也。川芎一钱
半，
当归三钱，泽兰、益母草、香附、丹参各一钱，人参七分，荆芥穗五分，山楂、桂皮各一钱
。一帖而小腹痛止，再帖而热晕悉除。
倪少南右颊车浮肿而疼，直冲太阳，大发寒热，两手寸关俱洪大有力，此阳明经风热交
扇所
致。以软石膏三钱，白芷、升麻各一钱，葛根二钱，生熟甘草各一钱，薄荷、山栀子、牡丹
皮、连翘各七分，天花粉、贯众各一钱半。两帖肿痛全消。

一位妇女患心痛，嘴唇红润，疼痛时伴随高热，头痛，片刻后出汗，脉象大小不一。我说：这是虫痛的症状，疼痛时吐出白沫即可证实。处方：槟榔、川椒各二钱，杏仁一钱五分，石菖蒲一钱，乌梅七个，炮姜、草豆仁、陈皮各五分，山栀仁一钱。服用一次后疼痛减半，再服用一次后疼痛完全消除。

Prescription: Gualou Ren (Trichosanthis Semen) 6 qian, Zhike (Aurantii Fructus), Jiang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma prepared with ginger), Banxia (Pinelliae Tuber) each 1.5 qian, Baijiezi (Sinapis Semen) 1 qian, Muli (Ostreae Concha) 2 qian, Zhi Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma prepared with honey) 0.5 qian, Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) 1.5 qian. After two doses, all symptoms disappeared, and appetite returned. However, fearing recurrence, Danggui Longhui Wan (Angelica Sinensis and Gardenia Pill) was administered to eradicate the root cause. The patient indeed defecated twice after taking the medicine.
A woman at seven months of pregnancy suffered from internal heat, cough, and fullness/stuffiness in the chest and diaphragm. Prescription: Tiao Qin (Scutellariae Radix) 2 qian, Gualou Ren (Trichosanthis Semen), Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Ziwan (Asternis Radix), Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus), Sangbaipi (Mori Cortex) each 1 qian, Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) 0.3 qian, Zhike (Aurantii Fructus), Zisu Geng (Perillae Caulis), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) each 0.7 qian. She recovered after two doses.
A woman suffered from heart pain, red lips, high fever upon pain onset, headache, and sweating after a short while. Her pulse varied in size. I stated: This is a symptom of worm pain, confirmed by vomiting white foam upon pain. Prescription: Binglang (Arecae Semen), Chuanjiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) each 2 qian, Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) 1.5 qian, Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma) 1 qian, Wumei (Mume Fructus) 7 pieces, Paojiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Preparatum), Caodouren (Amomi Fructus Rotundus), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) each 0.5 qian, Shanzhiren (Gardeniae Fructus) 1 qian. After one dose, pain reduced by half; after another dose, pain completely resolved.
Ni E'nan's wife suffered from lower abdominal pain, night-time fever, and dizziness following a miscarriage. I stated: This is due to deficiency of Qi and Blood and incomplete expulsion of lochia. After one dose, lower abdominal pain ceased; after two more doses, fever and dizziness completely resolved.

After two doses, swelling and pain completely subsided.
