清脾养胃汤
软石膏 黄芩 陈皮 白术（去芦） 甘草 胡黄连 使君子 茯苓（去皮）
上锉等分。水煎。温服。或为末。放于饮食内。令儿服之。
黄金饼 治好吃泥土。
干黄土为末。浓煎黄连汁为饼。服之立愈。
一论小儿丹毒赤肿。风热狂躁。睡卧不安。胸膈满闷。咽喉肿痛。九窍有血妄行。遍身
丹毒。及痘疮已出未出。不能快透。或已出。热不解。急宜服。
消毒饮
牛蒡子 荆芥穗 防风 黄芩（各一钱） 犀角 甘草（各五分）
上锉。水煎。不拘时服。如无犀角。以升麻代之。
泥金膏 治丹毒赤游风。
阴地上蚯蚓粪、熟皮硝。蚯蚓粪三分之二。共一处研细。新汲井水浓调。浓敷患处。干
则再上。
一论小儿喉痹。会厌两傍肿者。为双乳蛾。易治。一傍肿者。为童乳蛾。难治。乳蛾差

为喉痹。热积于咽喉。且麻且痒。肿绕于外。名缠喉风。喉痹暴发暴死者。名走马喉风。

苏厄汤 主方。
桔梗（二钱） 山豆根（一钱） 牛蒡子（一钱） 荆芥穗（八分） 玄参（八分） 升麻（三分）
防风（八分） 生甘草（一钱） 竹叶（五片）
水煎频服。外用硼砂一味。噙化咽下。降痰消肿。
碧雪散 治咽喉肿痛。水浆不下。或生疮重舌、木舌。
碧雪真青黛。硼砂与焰硝。（飞过） 蒲黄甘草末。（俱用生） 等分掺咽喉。
一治喉痹乳蛾气绝者。实时返活。单乳蛾用巴豆一粒。去壳打碎。入绵絮团内塞鼻。在
左塞左。在右塞右。若双蛾用两粒塞两鼻。
一喉痹乳蛾风。口舌生疮。用黑牛胆一个。生白矾末二两。银朱五钱。入胆内阴干。取
出研末。每少许吹入喉内。神效。
治疗小儿爱吃泥土的方法。这是由于脾虚胃热所导致的。面色青黄，或者体内有虫动。此药都能治疗。如果不及时医治，会形成癖症。
清脾养胃汤
软石膏、黄芩、陈皮、白术（去芦头）、甘草、胡黄连、使君子、茯苓（去皮）
以上药材切碎，等分混合。加水煎煮，温服。或者制成粉末，放入饮食中，让儿童服用。
黄金饼 治疗喜欢吃泥土。
将干黄土研成粉末，用浓煎的黄连汁做成饼状。服用后立刻痊愈。
论述小儿丹毒赤肿。风热导致狂躁不安，睡卧不宁。胸膈满闷，咽喉肿痛。九窍有血液妄行。遍身出现丹毒，以及痘疮已经发出或尚未发出，不能顺利透发。或者痘疮已出，但热势不退。急需服用此药。
消毒饮
牛蒡子、荆芥穗、防风、黄芩（各一钱）、犀角、甘草（各五分）
以上药材切碎。加水煎煮，不拘泥时间服用。如果没有犀角，可以用升麻代替。
泥金膏 治疗丹毒赤游风。
取阴地上的蚯蚓粪、熟皮硝。其中蚯蚓粪占三分之二。放在一起研细。用新汲取的井水浓调。厚敷在患处。干了再重新上药。
论述小儿喉痹。会厌两旁肿胀的，称为双乳蛾，容易治疗。只有一旁肿胀的，称为童乳蛾，难治。乳蛾较小的称为喉痹。热邪积聚于咽喉，既麻又痒。肿胀环绕外部，名为缠喉风。喉痹突然发作并迅速死亡的，名为走马喉风。后方为主方。
苏厄汤
桔梗（二钱）、山豆根（一钱）、牛蒡子（一钱）、荆芥穗（八分）、玄参（八分）、升麻（三分）、防风（八分）、生甘草（一钱）、竹叶（五片）
加水煎煮，频繁服用。外用硼砂一味，含化咽下。降痰消肿。
碧雪散 治疗咽喉肿痛，水浆无法下咽。或者生疮重舌、木舌。
碧雪、真青黛、硼砂与焰硝（飞过处理）、蒲黄甘草末（均使用生品）。等分掺入咽喉部位。
治疗喉痹乳蛾导致气绝的患者，能立即使其复活。单侧乳蛾用巴豆一粒，去壳打碎，放入棉絮团内塞入鼻孔。左侧在左鼻，右侧在右鼻。如果是双侧乳蛾，用两粒塞入两个鼻孔。
一种喉痹乳蛾风，口舌生疮。用一个黑牛胆，加入生白矾末二两、银朱五钱。放入胆内阴干。取出研成粉末。每次取少许吹入喉内，神效。
Treatment for children who love to eat dirt. This is caused by Spleen deficiency and Stomach heat (Stomach heat). The complexion is greenish-yellow, or there may be intestinal parasites moving within. This medicine treats all such cases. If not treated urgently, Pi syndrome (accumulation masses) will develop.
Qingpi Yangwei Tang (Clear the Spleen and Nourish the Stomach Decoction)
Ruan Shigao (Soft Gypsum Fibrosum), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma - removed rhizome base), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Huhuanglian (Coptidis Chinensis Rhizoma), Shijunzi (Quisqualis Fructus), Fuling (Poria) - peeled skin.
The above herbs are cut into equal parts. Decoct in water and take warm. Alternatively, grind into powder and mix into food/drink for the child to consume.
Huangjin Bing (Golden Cake) Treats preference for eating dirt.
Dry yellow earth soil ground into powder, mixed with concentrated decoction of Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) to form cakes. Taking this leads to immediate recovery.
Discussion on pediatric Dan du (erysipelas-like rash) and red swelling. Wind-heat causes mania and restlessness, uneasy sleep. Chest and diaphragm feel full and stifling, throat and tonsils swell and hurt. Blood flows recklessly from the nine orifices. Dan du covers the whole body, as well as smallpox lesions that have erupted or not yet erupted, unable to penetrate smoothly. Or if lesions have erupted but heat does not resolve. It should be taken urgently.
Xiaodu Yin (Detoxify and Purge Infusion)
Niubangzi (Arctii Fructus), Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (each 1 qian), Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 5 fen).
The above herbs are cut. Decoct in water and take at any time. If Xijiao is unavailable, replace it with Shengma ( Cimicifugae Rhizoma).
Nijin Gao (Mud Gold Ointment) Treats Dan du and Chi you feng (red wandering wind).
Earthworm feces from shaded ground and Shu Pinxiao (Calcined Mirabilite). Earthworm feces constitute two-thirds. Grind them together finely. Mix thickly with fresh well water. Apply thickly to the affected area. Reapply when dry.
Discussion on pediatric Hou bi (throat obstruction). Swelling on both sides of the epiglottis is called Shuang ru e (double tonsillar hypertrophy), which is easy to treat. Swelling on only one side is called Tong ru e (childhood tonsillar hypertrophy), which is difficult to treat. Smaller tonsillar hypertrophy is called Hou bi. Heat accumulates in the throat, causing numbness and itching. Swelling surrounds externally, named Chan hou feng (wind wrapping around the throat). Sudden onset and rapid death of Hou bi is named Zou ma hou feng (running horse throat wind). The following prescription is the main formula.
Su E Tang
Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) (2 qian), Shandougen (Sophorae Tonkinensis Radix et Cortex) (1 qian), Niubangzi (Arctii Fructus) (1 qian), Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica) (8 fen), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix) (8 fen), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma) (3 fen), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) (8 fen), Sheng Gancao (Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (1 qian), Zhuye (Bambusae Folium) (5 leaves).
Decoct in water and take frequently. Externally, use Pengsha (Borax) alone, hold in mouth and swallow down. To reduce phlegm and swelling.
Bixue San (Green Snow Powder) Treats throat swelling and pain, inability to swallow liquids. Or sores, Chong she (double tongue), Mu she (wooden tongue).
Bixue (Green Snow), Zhen Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), Pengsha (Borax) and Yanxiao (Natrii Nitras) (sublimed/refined), Puhuang (Typhae Pollen) and Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) powder (all raw). Equal parts, sprinkle into the throat.
Treatment for Hou bi and Ru e causing Qi collapse (asphyxia), restoring life immediately. For unilateral Ru e, use one Baiduo (Crotonis Fructus), remove shell, crush, place inside a cotton wad, and insert into the nostril. Left side for left nostril, right side for right nostril. For bilateral Ru e, use two grains inserted into both nostrils.
For Hou bi and Ru e with wind, sores on mouth and tongue: Use one black ox gallbladder, add 2 liang of raw Baijian (Alumen), 5 qian of Yinzhu (Cinnabar). Place inside the gallbladder and dry in shade. Take out and grind into powder. Blow a small amount into the throat each time. Divine efficacy.
