一凡大按乃痛者病深。小按便痛者病浅。按之处陷不复者无脓。按之处陷即复者有脓。
不复
者可消。若按之都牵强者。未有脓也。按之半软者。有脓也。又手按上下不热者无脓。若热
甚者有脓。凡觉有脓。急当破之。无脓但气肿。若有血。慎之慎之。不可针破也。用诸拔毒
之药敷散。四围坚中软者。此为有脓审也。一边软亦可有脓。都坚者此为恶核。或有气也。
都软者此为有血。血瘤也。当审坚软虚实为要。若坚疽积久后。若更变热。偏有软处。当软处
切不可针破也。软疽者温暖裹衣置之。若针灸刺破。不可疗也。
一凡病时。忌怒忌疑虑。忌身体不洁人来看。忌鱼羊鹅肉。烧酒面食。生冷瓜果。腌藏
等物。疮口敛。百日后。不作渴症。方可入房。
一凡痈疽等项大疮毒。初起一二三日内。即服飞腾神骏膏。此药治疮初起至将溃之际。
俱可
服。服后汗出。恶毒尽皆发散。肿立消。其效如神。如疮已溃烂。勿服。如无神骏膏。初起
即
服槐花酒。或千金消毒散二三剂。患处即用灸法灸之。疮初出至七日内。或灸。七日外不可
灸。疮未及灸。初起即以葱蜜膏。或以金蟾膏贴之。即消。至四五日肿痛未消。用芙蓉膏敷
之。立效。敷至六七日作脓。将溃未溃之时。不得妄破。用替针丸。频点疮头。自然皮破出
脓。疮自初起至此。脓将出未出之际。即服真人活命饮一二剂。泻下脓血。其疮溃烂。用猪
蹄汤洗净。以三神膏搽之。内服千金内托散。以托疮毒出外。间服蜡矾丸。以护膈膜。二药
相兼服之勿间。不计其数。再看溃烂。流脓不止。此气血衰惫。脾胃亏损。肌肉不生。疮不
敛口。用猪蹄汤洗净。将生肌散搽上。外贴神异膏。内服十全大补汤。兼进八仙糕。久服
自愈。好后再服加减八味丸。可以绝根。庶几再生。若平日无疮时。皆预服之。尤为防患于
未然也。以上治法。俱要根据次第而行。未有不奏效者。皆予百发百中之良法也。
一论飞龙夺命丹。乃外科恶毒第一方也。（方见后诸疮）
一论痈疽、发背。瘰 、鼠 、气 等症。此专门之方。其效捷如奔马。
飞腾神骏膏
麻黄（二斤去节取一斤净） 杏仁（四两热水泡去皮尖用砂钵捣烂又入水同捣澄去浊渣用
清汁
）防风（去芦四两） 地骨皮（去骨净四两） 甘草（四两） 木鳖子（去壳十四个） 头发（一把
温水洗净） 灯草（大一把） 黑铅（一块）
上熬膏。法不用柴烧。用白炭五十斤。大铁锅一口。将前药入锅内。注清水二三桶。煮
至五
六分。看药水浓时。药渣滤起。药水另放缸注。又将前渣入锅内。再入水一二桶。又熬至五
六分。药汁又注前汁内。如前法三次去渣。将前二次汁并作一锅。煎至干。去黑铅头发灯草
三味不用。其味香甜。瓷罐收贮。五年不坏。遇病每服三钱。好热酒调膏。临卧服。浓被盖
出大汗为度。徐徐去被。不可被风吹。次早用猪蹄煨。以汗后恐致虚人。以此补之。以复
元气。好酒调服。随人酒量。以醉为度。汗出立愈。此治疮毒欲起。至溃破时。前后皆可服
神效。
一论凡人初觉患痈疽发背。已结未结。赤热肿痛。即用灸法。先以湿纸覆其上。立视后
其
纸先干处。即是结疽头处。取大蒜去皮。横切三文钱浓。安在头上。用大艾炷于蒜上灸之。
三次换一蒜片复灸。痛者灸至不痛。不痛灸至痛方住。最要早觉早灸为上。方发一二日者。
十灸十愈。三四日者。六七愈。五六日者三四愈。过七日则不可灸矣。若有十数头一处生者
用大蒜捣成膏。作饼子铺疮头上。聚艾烧之亦可。若背上初发赤肿。内有一粒黄如粟米者。
即用独蒜切片。如前法灸之。次日去痂。脓自溃矣。
一论凡痈疽发背。一切无名肿毒初起。
葱蜜膏
生葱、猪胆汁一个。倾石钵内。共捣成饼。贴患处。日换三四次。即消。
金蟾膏 治症同前。
生白矾末五钱。加麝香一分。取活虾蟆一个。去肚肠。同捣烂如泥。四围留顶出气。不
过一夜。即愈。
一论发背及一切肿毒。不问已成未成。但 痛者。
槐花酒
槐花四五两。炒黄。乘热入酒二杯。煎十余沸。去渣。热服。其毒即消。神效。
一论痈疽发背。及一切无名肿毒疼痛。医所不识。初起壮盛人。宜用黑白牵牛各一两。
捶碎。好酒一碗。煎八分。露一宿。次日温服。大便下脓血。即愈。
一论初起一切恶疮肿痛。丹瘤瘰 。疔肿鱼口。五发痈疽。初觉一二日。便如伤寒。头
痛烦
渴。拘急恶寒。四肢沉重。恍惚闷乱。坐卧不安。皮肤壮热。大便闭结。小便赤涩等症。并
治。妊娠勿服。
千金消毒散
连翘（二钱） 黄芩（一钱） 当归尾（一钱） 金银花（一钱五分） 皂角刺（一钱） 赤芍（
一钱） 天花粉（一钱） 牡蛎（一钱） 防风 大黄 芒硝 麻黄（各一钱）
上锉一剂。酒水各半煎服。
一论肠痈便毒疔痈疽。初起即消。已肿即溃。血从大便中出。疮溃后勿服。

芙蓉膏
芙蓉叶 黄荆子（各等分为末）
上二味。入石臼内捣极烂。用鸡子清调敷患处。留顶。如烟起。此方用在未溃之先。或
将溃之际。
一治痈疽发背已溃烂者。
三神膏
蓖麻子仁（一合） 陈醋（一大碗） 盐（一撮）
上三味置锅中。用槐条搅成膏。先将猪蹄汤洗净。或米泔水洗净。用鸡翎续续扫上。其
皮即皱。其肉即生。
一论诸疮恶毒。发背痈疽。痛不可忍者。此药能卫护内膜。驱解诸毒。自然内消。
加味蜡矾丸
黄蜡（一两） 枯白矾（一两） 乳香（一钱） 没药（一钱） 雄黄（二钱）
上为细末。用蜡熔化为丸。朱砂为衣。如梧子大。服五十丸。视疮上下。蜜水送下。
一论痈疽疮疖。皆由气血凝滞。风毒壅结。此药发散外邪。流行气血。排脓止痛。生肌长
肉之剂。当用于五六日间。已溃未溃而作痛者。宜服之。
加味千金内托散
黄 （盐水炒） 人参 当归（酒洗） 川芎 白芍（酒炒） 白芷 防风 川朴（姜炒） 桔
梗官桂 栝蒌仁（去壳） 金银花 甘草节
上锉。每服一两。水煎。入好酒半盏。去渣。温服。日进二三服之后。疮口有黑血出者

有汗出。此药之功也。不问症候猛恶。未成者自散。已成者即溃矣。痛甚。加乳香、没药。
倍当归、芍药。
一论痈疽溃后。须当大补血气。和脾胃。托毒外出。实为切要。凡脓血出多。阴阳两虚
此
药有起死回生之功。但不分经络。不载时令。医者当触类而长之可也。或见肿平痛宽。遂以
为安。漫不知省。无补接调养之功。愈后虚症复见。因而转为他病而危剧者多矣。
收功万全汤
黄 （蜜水炒二钱五分） 人参（一钱） 白术（去芦炒一钱） 白茯苓（去皮一钱） 当归身

上锉。生姜一片。水煎。温服。如作渴。加麦门冬、五味子。如烦躁。加生地黄、麦门
冬。
如有痰。加姜制半夏。如泄泻。加浓朴姜炒。如小便不利。加泽泻。如怔忡不寐。加远志、
酸枣仁炒。胸膈不宽。加浓朴姜炒、楂肉。
上方治痈疽发背诸疮毒溃脓后。毒瓦斯已尽。气血虚弱。不长肌肉。不合口。脓清欲作余
症。宜之。
一论患痈疽发背。出脓后脾胃亏损。不思饮食。或呕吐泄泻。四肢沉困无力。
八仙糕
人参（去芦） 茯苓（去皮） 干山药 芡实（去壳） 莲肉（去心） 不油白术（去芦米泔浸
过一宿切片微炒各四两） 白糖霜（一斤） 白粳米（二升水淘净磨极细末）
上将药末米粉糖霜和一处。搓揉极匀。筛放笼内。竹刀划成小片。蒸熟。入锅再焙干。
任意食之可也。
敛疮止痛生肌散
宫粉（火 黄色） 黄柏（各一钱） 黄连 乳香 没药 孩儿茶（各五分）
上为末。掺疮上。并治下疳黄水热泡等疮。
一论痈疽发背溃烂。便要此汤荡洗。
猪蹄汤
当归 赤芍 白芷 羌活 露蜂房 生甘草（各五钱） 一方。加黄芩。
上细锉。看疮大小用药。如疮大。加料用之。先将 猪前蹄两只一斤。只用白水三升煮
软。
将汁分两次。拨去上面油花。并下面渣肉。每次用药一两。投于汁中。再用文武火煎十数沸
去渣。以故纸蘸药汤。温温徐徐。薄揩疮上。死肉恶血。随洗而下。洗净以布帛拭干。贴
膏药。仍避风。忌人口气吹之。洗疮切不以手触者。
一论一切恶疮痈疽发背等症。此药能退肿毒。去死肉。有脓无头。用此点头。自然皮破
出脓。
替针丸
人言（为末入锅内上盖明矾烧不响为度一钱） 砂（五分） 巴豆（十粒） 乳香（三分）
没药（三分） 白雄丁香（七分）
上为细末。面糊为丸。如豆大。用时以温水磨化。频点疮头上。神效。
替针散
用木鳖子、川乌。二味磨水。以鸡翎刷疮上。留口大一处出脓。如药水干。再刷上。不
一时即穿。
一论治痈疽发背发项发脑等大毒。不拘已溃未溃。俱用此敷贴。如肿毒未溃。通敷自消
如
已溃。将此敷周遭肿 处。其破口处。以神异膏贴之。每日换两三次。不许见风。神效。
二合消毒散
文蛤（捶碎炒黑色为末三两六钱） 轻粉（研三钱） 黄柏（去皮密炙为末二两） 寒水石（
为末一两）
上末。合为一处。用新凉水一半。蜂蜜一半。调合。不稀不稠。如疮毒尚未开。将肿处
遍敷
之。用棉纸覆于上。但干。即以水扫之。朝夕更换二次。如夏月。或午时再换一次。亦可。
若已破。将此药敷于周遭 肿处。正有脓。破口处用神异膏满贴之。不必留口。亦一日三换
一论痈疽发背溃烂。又不生肌肉。用此立效。但此方用之。不可太早。
合口收功散
血竭（一钱） 乳香 没药 轻粉 龙骨（各一钱五分） 赤石脂（二钱） 朱砂 海螵蛸（
各五分）
上共为细末。散在疮口上。即生肌肉。
一论痈疽发背诸疮毒。不拘已成已溃未溃者。皆可用之。诸毒甚者。每日换二三次。中毒
换一次。其药力方能胜毒。诸疮溃脓后。不长肌肉。不合口者。神效。
神异膏
归尾（五钱） 川芎（五钱） 赤芍（二钱） 生地黄（四钱） 防风 羌活 白芷 玄参 黄

乱发（男者一团如鸡子大） 槐柳皮（四十九节每长一寸）
上用麻油三斤四两。将药入锅内浸。春五夏三秋七冬十日。以桑柴文武火煎油黑色。以
穿山
甲浮起黑为度。绢滤去渣。再熬油。滴水成珠。陆续下黄丹十四两。柳条搅不住手。成膏软
硬得所。再下乳香、没药各三钱。血竭三钱。真降香末三钱。次冷定。下麝香末二钱。水浸
二三日。去火性。摊用。
一论痈疽疮疡痊后。及将痊。口干渴甚。舌或生黄。及未患先渴。此肾水枯竭。不能上
润
以致心火上炎。水火不能既济。故心烦躁作渴。小便频数。或白浊阳痿。饮食不多。肌肤
渐削。或腿肿脚先瘦。服此以生肾水。降心火。诸症顿止。及治口舌生疮不绝。
加减八味丸
怀生地黄（半斤好酒拌砂锅内蒸半日捣膏） 山药（一两） 石枣（净肉四两酒蒸捣膏）
桂心（去皮） 泽泻（切片蒸焙干） 白茯苓（去皮） 牡丹皮（各五钱） 辽五味子（二两五钱）
上为末。入枣膏。加炼蜜少许。丸如梧子大。每服六七十丸。空心。盐汤送下。
一凡人晚年久服加减八味丸。不生痈疽诸毒。不患消渴等症。
一患痈疽之人。虽云有热。皆因痛而得之。愈后发渴。及先渴而后痈疽。非八味丸不能
治。
一人病痈疽。多有愈后发渴而不救者。治之惟八味丸最效。疽安而渴者。服此则渴止。疽
安而未渴者。预服此丸。则永止渴。气血壮盛。或未疽而先发渴。服此不惟渴止。疽亦不作。
一人平日口干作渴。因饮酒食炙爆。补剂房劳。凡若此类过多。致令肾水枯竭。不能制
心火。故有此症。后必有疽发也。宜先服八味丸。以绝其源。及痈疽后服此。尤有益也。
一论痈疽发背诸疮。出脓溃烂。日久不愈。饮食少思。身体倦怠。口舌干燥。或寒热往
来。
惊悸少睡。以补中益气汤。去柴胡。加苍术、麦门冬、神曲、五味、黄柏。少睡。加酸枣仁
一、凡是用力按压才疼痛的，病位较深。轻轻按压就疼痛的，病位较浅。按压后凹陷不能立即回弹的，没有脓液。按压后凹陷立即回弹的，有脓液。凹陷不能回弹的，可以通过药物消散。如果按压整个患处都僵硬强直，说明还没有形成脓液。按压时一半软一半硬的，说明有脓液。另外，用手触摸上下部位不热的，没有脓液；如果热势严重的，有脓液。凡是感觉有脓液的，应当紧急切开排脓。如果没有脓液只是气肿，如果有瘀血，务必谨慎，不可用针刺破。应用各种拔毒的药物外敷散结。四周坚硬中间柔软的，这是确已有脓的判断标准。一边软也可能有脓。全部坚硬的，这是恶核（一种恶性肿块），或者是气滞所致。全部柔软的，这是血瘤（血管性肿瘤）。当以审察坚硬与柔软、虚证与实证为关键。如果是坚疽（质地坚硬的痈疽）积存日久，如果又变热，且偏侧出现柔软处，在柔软处切不可针刺破溃。对于软疽，应保暖包裹衣物放置于温暖处。如果用针灸刺破，就无法治愈了。
一、患病期间，忌讳发怒，忌讳疑虑重重。忌讳身体不洁净的人来探望。忌讳食用鱼、羊、鹅肉，烧酒，面食，生冷瓜果，腌制品等食物。疮口愈合后一百天，且不出现口渴症状，才可以行房事。
一、凡是痈疽等大型疮毒，初起的一二三天内，立即服用飞腾神骏膏。此药治疗疮毒初起到即将溃破的阶段，都可以服用。服药后出汗，恶毒之气全部发散，肿胀立刻消退，效果神奇。如果疮已经溃烂，不要服用。如果没有神骏膏，初起时立即服用槐花酒，或者千金消毒散二三剂。患处立即使用灸法进行艾灸。疮毒初出至七天内，可以艾灸；七日以后不可艾灸。疮未及艾灸，初起时用葱蜜膏，或者金蟾膏贴敷，即可消除。到四五天肿痛未消，用芙蓉膏外敷，立见疗效。外敷至六七天化脓，将溃未溃之时，不得妄自破溃。使用替针丸，频繁点涂疮头，自然皮肤破裂出脓。从疮初起到此时，脓将出未出之际，即服用真人活命饮一二剂，泻下脓血。疮已溃烂，用猪蹄汤洗净，涂抹三神膏。内服千金内托散，以托举疮毒向外排出。间歇服用蜡矾丸，以保护膈膜。两种药交替服用，不要间断，不限数量。再看溃烂情况，如果流脓不止，这是气血衰败，脾胃亏损，肌肉不生，疮口不收敛。用猪蹄汤洗净，将生肌散搽在上面，外贴神异膏。内服十全大补汤，兼进八仙糕，久服自愈。好转后再服用加减八味丸，可以断绝病根，使生命得以延续。如果平时没有疮疡，也预先服用，更是防患于未然。以上治法，都必须根据次序进行，没有不奏效的，都是我一百发百中的良法。
一、论飞龙夺命丹，是外科治疗恶毒的第一方。（方剂见后诸疮部分）
一、论痈疽、发背、瘰疬、鼠瘰、气瘿等症，这是专门的方剂，其效验快如奔马。
飞腾神骏膏
麻黄（二斤，去节取一斤净品） 杏仁（四两，热水泡去皮尖，用砂钵捣烂，再加水同捣，澄清去掉浑浊渣滓，取清汁） 防风（去芦头四两） 地骨皮（去骨净四两） 甘草（四两） 木鳖子（去壳十四个） 头发（一把，温水洗净） 灯草（一大把） 黑铅（一块）
以上熬制成膏。方法不用柴火烧，用白炭五十斤，大铁锅一口。将前药放入锅内，注入清水二三桶，煮至五六分浓稠。看药水浓时，滤起药渣，药水另放缸中贮存。又将前药渣放入锅内，再入水一二桶，又熬至五六分浓稠，药汁又注入前次药汁内。像前法三次去渣，将前二次药汁合并为一锅，煎至干涸。去掉黑铅、头发、灯草三味不用。其味香甜，用瓷罐收贮，五年不坏。遇病每次服用三钱，用好热酒调化膏体，临睡前服用，盖厚被子出大汗为止，慢慢去掉被子，不可被风吹。次日早晨用猪蹄煨汤，因为汗后恐怕导致虚弱之人，以此补益，恢复元气。用好酒调服，随个人酒量，以醉为度。汗出后立即痊愈。此药治疗疮毒欲起，至溃破时，前后皆可服用，神效。
一、论凡人初觉患痈疽发背，已结或未结，赤热肿痛，立即用灸法。先以湿纸覆盖其上，立即观察，纸上最先干燥的地方，就是结疽的头处。取大蒜去皮，横切三文钱厚，安放在头上，用大艾炷在蒜上艾灸。三次换一片蒜片继续灸。痛的灸到不痛，不痛的灸到痛才停止。最重要的是早发觉早艾灸为上策。刚发一二天的，十灸十愈。三四天的，六七愈。五六天的，三四愈。过了七天则不可艾灸了。如果有十几个头一处生的，用大蒜捣成膏，做成饼铺在疮头上，聚拢艾火焚烧也可以。如果背上初发赤肿，里面有一粒黄如粟米者，即用独蒜切片，如前法艾灸。次日去痂，脓自然溃破。
一、论凡痈疽发背，一切无名肿毒初起。
葱蜜膏
生葱、猪胆汁一个。倒入石钵内，共同捣成饼。贴敷患处，每天换三四次，即可消除。
金蟾膏 治疗症状同前。
生白矾末五钱，加麝香一分。取活虾蟆一个，去掉肚肠，共同捣烂如泥。四周留顶出气，不过一夜，即愈。
一、论发背及一切肿毒，不问已成或未成，但疼痛的。
槐花酒
槐花四五两，炒黄。趁热加入酒二杯，煎十余沸。去渣，热服。其毒即消，神效。
一、论痈疽发背，及一切无名肿毒疼痛，医生所不识。初起壮盛人，宜用黑白牵牛各一两，捶碎。好酒一碗，煎至八分，露置一宿。次日温服。大便下脓血，即愈。
一、论初起一切恶疮肿痛，丹瘤，瘰疬，疔肿，鱼口，五发痈疽。初觉一二日，便如伤寒，头痛烦渴，拘急恶寒，四肢沉重，恍惚闷乱，坐卧不安，皮肤壮热，大便闭结，小便赤涩等症状，一并治疗。孕妇勿服。
千金消毒散
连翘（二钱） 黄芩（一钱） 当归尾（一钱） 金银花（一钱五分） 皂角刺（一钱） 赤芍（一钱） 天花粉（一钱） 牡蛎（一钱） 防风 大黄 芒硝 麻黄（各一钱）
以上锉成一剂，酒水各半煎服。
一、论肠痈，便毒，疔痈疽。初起即消，已肿即溃。血从大便中出。疮溃后勿服。
加减真人活命饮 又名千金内消散。

以上锉成一剂，水酒煎服。
一、论痈疽发背，肿痛如锥刺，不可忍受。顿时即止。
芙蓉膏
芙蓉叶 黄荆子（各等分为末）
以上两味，入石臼内捣极烂，用鸡蛋清调敷患处，留顶。如烟起，此方用在未溃之前，或将溃之际。
一、治痈疽发背已溃烂者。
三神膏
蓖麻子仁（一合） 陈醋（一大碗） 盐（一撮）
以上三味置锅中，用槐条搅成膏。先将猪蹄汤洗净，或米泔水洗净，用鸡翎徐徐扫上。其皮即皱，其肉即生。
一、论诸疮恶毒，发背痈疽，痛不可忍者。此药能卫护内膜，驱解诸毒，自然内消。
加味蜡矾丸
黄蜡（一两） 枯白矾（一两） 乳香（一钱） 没药（一钱） 雄黄（二钱）
以上为细末，用蜡熔化为丸，朱砂为衣，如梧桐子大。服五十丸，视疮上下，蜜水送下。

以上锉，生姜一片，水煎，温服。如作渴，加麦门冬、五味子。如烦躁，加生地黄、麦门冬。如有痰，加姜制半夏。如泄泻，加浓朴姜炒。如小便不利，加泽泻。如怔忡不寐，加远志、酸枣仁炒。胸膈不宽，加浓朴姜炒、楂肉。
上方治痈疽发背诸疮毒溃脓后，毒瓦斯已尽，气血虚弱，不长肌肉，不合口，脓清欲作余症，宜之。
一、论患痈疽发背，出脓后脾胃亏损，不思饮食，或呕吐泄泻，四肢沉困无力。
八仙糕
人参（去芦） 茯苓（去皮） 干山药 芡实（去壳） 莲肉（去心） 不油白术（去芦米泔浸过一宿切片微炒各四两） 白糖霜（一斤） 白粳米（二升水淘净磨极细末）
上将药末米粉糖霜和一处，搓揉极匀，筛放笼内，竹刀划成小片，蒸熟，入锅再焙干，任意食之可也。
敛疮止痛生肌散
宫粉（火煅黄色） 黄柏（各一钱） 黄连 乳香 没药 孩儿茶（各五分）
以上为末，掺疮上。并治下疳黄水热泡等疮。
一、论痈疽发背溃烂，便要此汤荡洗。
猪蹄汤
当归 赤芍 白芷 羌活 露蜂房 生甘草（各五钱） 一方，加黄芩。
以上细锉，看疮大小用药。如疮大，加料用之。先将猪前蹄两只一斤，只用白水三升煮软。将汁分两次，拨去上面油花，并下面渣肉。每次用药一两，投于汁中，再用文武火煎十数沸去渣，以故纸蘸药汤，温温徐徐，薄揩疮上，死肉恶血，随洗而下。洗净以布帛拭干，贴膏药，仍避风，忌人口气吹之。洗疮切忌不以手触者。
一、论一切恶疮痈疽发背等症。此药能退肿毒，去死肉。有脓无头，用此点头，自然皮破出脓。
替针丸
人言（为末入锅内上盖明矾烧不响为度一钱） 砂（五分） 巴豆（十粒） 乳香（三分） 没药（三分） 白雄丁香（七分）
以上为细末，面糊为丸，如豆大。用时以温水磨化，频点疮头上，神效。
替针散
用木鳖子、川乌，二味磨水，以鸡翎刷疮上，留口大一处出脓。如药水干，再刷上，不一时即穿。
一、论治痈疽发背发项发脑等大毒，不拘已溃未溃，俱用此敷贴。如肿毒未溃，通敷自消。如已溃，将此敷周遭肿处，其破口处，以神异膏贴之。每日换两三次，不许见风，神效。
二合消毒散
文蛤（捶碎炒黑色为末三两六钱） 轻粉（研三钱） 黄柏（去皮密炙为末二两） 寒水石（为末一两）
以上末，合为一处，用新凉水一半，蜂蜜一半，调合，不稀不稠。如疮毒尚未开，将肿处遍敷之，用棉纸覆于上，但干，即以水扫之，朝夕更换二次。如夏月，或午时再换一次，亦可。若已破，将此药敷于周遭肿处，正有脓，破口处用神异膏满贴之，不必留口，亦一日三换。
一、论痈疽发背溃烂，又不生肌肉，用此立效。但此方用之，不可太早。
合口收功散
血竭（一钱） 乳香 没药 轻粉 龙骨（各一钱五分） 赤石脂（二钱） 朱砂 海螵蛸（各五分）
以上共为细末，散在疮口上，即生肌肉。
一、论痈疽发背诸疮毒，不拘已成已溃未溃者，皆可用之。诸毒甚者，每日换二三次，中毒换一次，其药力方能胜毒。诸疮溃脓后，不长肌肉，不合口者，神效。
神异膏
归尾（五钱） 川芎（五钱） 赤芍（二钱） 生地黄（四钱） 防风 羌活 白芷 玄参 黄芪（各五钱） 官桂（三钱） 桃仁（四十九个） 杏仁（四十九个） 木鳖子（十四个） 何首乌（三钱） 牛蒡子（五钱） 穿山甲（四钱） 蜂房（三钱） 蛇蜕（二钱） 大黄（二钱） 黄柏（二钱） 乱发（男者一团如鸡子大） 槐柳皮（四十九节每长一寸）
上用麻油三斤四两，将药入锅内浸，春五夏三秋七冬十日，以桑柴文武火煎油黑色，以穿山甲浮起黑为度。绢滤去渣，再熬油，滴水成珠，陆续下黄丹十四两，柳条搅不住手，成膏软硬得所。再下乳香、没药各三钱，血竭三钱，真降香末三钱，次冷定，下麝香末二钱，水浸二三日，去火性，摊用。
一、论痈疽疮疡痊后，及将痊，口干渴甚，舌或生黄，及未患先渴，此肾水枯竭，不能上润以致心火上炎，水火不能既济，故心烦躁作渴，小便频数，或白浊阳痿，饮食不多，肌肤渐削，或腿肿脚先瘦，服此以生肾水，降心火，诸症顿止。及治口舌生疮不绝。
加减八味丸
怀生地黄（半斤好酒拌砂锅内蒸半日捣膏） 山药（一两） 石枣（净肉四两酒蒸捣膏） 桂心（去皮） 泽泻（切片蒸焙干） 白茯苓（去皮） 牡丹皮（各五钱） 辽五味子（二两五钱）
以上为末，入枣膏，加炼蜜少许，丸如梧子大。每服六七十丸，空心，盐汤送下。
一、患痈疽之人，虽云有热，皆因痛而得之。愈后发渴，及先渴而后痈疽，非八味丸不能治。
一人病痈疽，多有愈后发渴而不救者。治之惟八味丸最效。疽安而渴者，服此则渴止。疽安而未渴者，预服此丸，则永止渴，气血壮盛，或未疽而先发渴，服此不惟渴止，疽亦不作。
一人平日口干作渴，因饮酒食炙爆，补剂房劳，凡若此类过多，致令肾水枯竭，不能制心火，故有此症，后必有疽发也。宜先服八味丸，以绝其源，及痈疽后服此，尤有益也。
一、论痈疽发背诸疮，出脓溃烂，日久不愈，饮食少思，身体倦怠，口舌干燥，或寒热往来，惊悸少睡，以补中益气汤，去柴胡，加苍术、麦门冬、神曲、五味、黄柏。少睡，加酸枣仁。
I. Where pain occurs only upon deep pressure, the disease is deep-seated. Where pain occurs upon light pressure, the disease is superficial. If depression remains after pressing and does not rebound immediately, there is no pus. If depression rebounds immediately after pressing, there is pus. Cases where depression does not rebound can be resolved with medication. If the entire area feels hard and tense upon pressure, pus has not yet formed. If half of the area feels soft while the other half is hard, pus is present. Additionally, if the upper and lower areas feel cool to the touch, there is no pus; if they feel very hot, pus is present. Whenever pus is suspected, it should be incised urgently. If there is no pus but only qi swelling, or if there is blood stasis, one must be extremely cautious and not puncture with a needle. Apply various detoxifying herbs externally to dissipate the swelling. If the periphery is hard and the center is soft, this confirms the presence of pus. Softness on one side may also indicate pus. Hardness throughout indicates an "evil nucleus" (malignant nodule) or qi stagnation. Softness throughout indicates a hemangioma (blood tumor). It is essential to assess hardness versus softness and deficiency versus excess. If a hard carbuncle persists for a long time and then becomes hot with localized softness, do not puncture the soft area with a needle. For a soft carbuncle, keep the patient warm and covered in clothing. Puncturing with acupuncture needles will render it incurable.
I. During illness, avoid anger and doubt. Avoid visits from people with poor hygiene. Avoid consuming fish, mutton, goose meat, distilled spirits, wheat products, raw/cold fruits and vegetables, and pickled foods. After the wound closes and for one hundred days, provided there is no thirst, sexual intercourse is permitted.
I. For major sores and toxins such as carbuncles and ulcers, administer Feiteng Shenjun Gao (Flying Steed Divine Horse Ointment) within the first one to three days of onset. This medicine is suitable from the initial stage until just before ulceration. After administration, sweating occurs, dispersing all toxic pathogens, and swelling subsides immediately with miraculous effect. Do not use if the sore has already ulcerated. If Shenjun Gao is unavailable, administer Huaihua Jiu (Sophora Flower Wine) or Qianjin Xiaodu San (Thousand Gold Detoxification Powder) two to three doses at the initial stage. Apply moxibustion directly to the affected area immediately. Moxibustion is applicable within seven days of onset; it is contraindicated after seven days. For early-stage sores not yet treated with moxibustion, apply Congmi Gao (Scallion Honey Paste) or Jinchan Gao (Golden Toad Paste), which will resolve the condition. If swelling and pain persist after four to five days, apply Furong Gao (Hibiscus Leaf Ointment) for immediate effect. By the sixth or seventh day, pus forms. At the stage of impending ulceration, do not forcibly rupture the skin. Use Tizhen Wan (Needle-Replacement Pill), frequently applying it to the sore head to naturally induce skin rupture and pus drainage. From onset until the pus is about to emerge, administer Zhenren Huoming Yin (Immortal's Life-Decree Decoction) one to two doses to purge pus and blood. Once ulcerated, clean the wound with Zhu Ti Tang (Pig Trotter Soup), apply Sanshen Gao (Three Gods Ointment), and internally administer Qianjin Neituo San (Thousand Gold Interior-Expelling Powder) to draw out toxicity. Intermittently take Lafa Wan (Beeswax Alum Pill) to protect the diaphragm. Take these two medicines alternately without interruption, in unlimited quantities. Observe the ulceration; if pus flows incessantly, this indicates exhaustion of qi and blood, spleen and stomach deficiency, failure of muscle regeneration, and non-healing wounds. Clean with Zhu Ti Tang, apply Shengji San (Muscle-Regenerating Powder), externally paste Shenyi Gao (Divine Heterogeneity Ointment), and internally administer Shiquan Dabu Tang (Ten Complete Tonifying Decoction). Supplement with Baxian Gao (Eight Immortals Cake); prolonged use leads to self-healing. After recovery, take Jiabajia Wei Wan (Modified Eight Flavor Pill) to eradicate the root cause and restore vitality. Even when healthy, preventive use is highly recommended to prevent future occurrences. The above treatments must follow this sequence strictly; none fail to produce results. These are my infallible methods.
I. Regarding Feilong Duoming Dan (Flying Dragon Snatching Life Pill), it is the premier formula for surgical malignant toxins. (Formula appears later under Various Sores).
I. Regarding carbuncles, ulcers, back carbuncles, scrofula (Luo Li), rat abscesses (Shu Luo), and goiter (Qi Ying), these are specialized formulas with effects as swift as a galloping horse.
Feiteng Shenjun Gao (Flying Steed Divine Horse Ointment)
Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) - 2 jin, remove joints, use 1 jin purified.
Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren, 杏仁) - 4 liang, soak in hot water, peel, remove tips, pound in mortar, add water, pound again, clarify, discard turbid dregs, use clear juice.
Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风) - 4 liang, remove rhizome.
Cortex Lycii (Digupi, 地骨皮) - 4 liang, purified.
Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) - 4 liang.
Momordicae Fructus (Mubiezi, 木鳖子) - 14 seeds, shelled.
Human Hair (Toufa, 头发) - 1 handful, washed clean with warm water.
Junci Medulla (Dengcao, 灯草) - 1 large handful.
Plumbum (Qian, 黑铅) - 1 piece.
Boil into ointment. Do not use firewood; use 50 jin of white charcoal and a large iron pot. Add herbs to the pot, pour in 2-3 buckets of clear water, boil until reduced by half. When thick, filter out dregs, store liquid separately. Return dregs to pot, add 1-2 buckets of water, boil again to half reduction, combine liquids. Repeat filtering three times. Combine the first two filtrates into one pot, boil until dry. Discard Plumbum, hair, and Junci Medulla. The taste is sweet and fragrant. Store in porcelain jars; stable for five years. For treatment, take 3 qian each time, dissolve in good hot wine, take before bed. Cover with thick blankets to induce heavy sweating. Remove blankets gradually, avoiding wind exposure. Next morning, consume pig trotter soup to replenish qi and counteract weakness from sweating. Take with good wine, to the point of intoxication. Recovery is immediate. This is effective for toxins from onset to ulceration.
I. When a person initially suspects a carbuncle or back carbuncle, whether formed or not, presenting with redness, heat, swelling, and pain, apply moxibustion immediately. Cover the area with wet paper and observe where it dries first; this marks the head of the carbuncle. Peel garlic, slice to the thickness of three cash coins, place on the head, and apply large moxa cones on top of the garlic. Replace garlic slice every three applications. For painful areas, moxa until pain ceases; for painless areas, moxa until pain arises. Early detection and application are crucial. Onset of 1-2 days: 10/10 cure rate. 3-4 days: 6-7/10. 5-6 days: 3-4/10. After 7 days, moxibustion is contraindicated. If multiple heads arise in one area, mash garlic into paste, form into cakes, place on sores, and burn moxa over them. If redness and swelling appear on the back with a yellow grain-sized nodule inside, slice a single garlic clove and moxa as described. Scab falls off next day, pus drains spontaneously.
I. For initial onset of any unnamed swelling and toxicity associated with carbuncles and back carbuncles.
Congmi Gao (Scallion Honey Paste)
Fresh Scallion (Congbai, 葱白) and Pig Gallbladder Juice (Zhudansui, 猪胆汁). Pound together in a stone mortar into a paste. Apply to affected area, change 3-4 times daily. Resolves quickly.
Jinchan Gao (Golden Toad Paste) - Indications same as above.
Bai Fan (Alumen, 白矾) powder 5 qian, Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香) 1 fen. Take one live Bufo bufo (Hanma, 虾蟆), remove entrails, pound with alum and musk into mud. Leave the top opening for air. Cures within one night.
I. For back carbuncles and all swellings/toxicities, whether formed or not, that are painful.
Huaihua Jiu (Sophora Flower Wine)
Flos Sophorae (Huaihua, 槐花) 4-5 liang, stir-fry until yellow. While hot, add 2 cups of wine, boil ten times. Strain, drink hot. Toxicity dissipates instantly. Miraculous.
I. For carbuncles, back carbuncles, and unnamed painful swellings unrecognized by physicians. In robust individuals at onset, use Semen Kan Nigri (Heiqianni, 黑牵牛) and Semen Kan Alb (Baiqianni, 白牵牛) 1 liang each, crushed. Boil in 1 bowl of good wine until reduced to 80%. Leave exposed overnight. Drink warm next day. Pus and blood pass via stool; cure follows.
I. For initial onset of all malignant sores, swelling, and pain, erysipelas tumors, scrofula, carbuncles, fish-mouth fistulas, and five types of carbuncles. Within 1-2 days of onset, symptoms resemble Taiyang disease (Exterior Syndrome): headache, irritability, thirst, spasms, aversion to cold, heaviness of limbs, mental confusion, restlessness, high fever, constipation, dark scanty urine. Treat all simultaneously. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Qianjin Xiaodu San (Thousand Gold Detoxification Powder)

I. For intestinal abscesses, groin abscesses, carbuncles, and ulcers. Resolves at onset, ulcerates if swollen. Blood passes via stool. Do not use after ulceration.
Jiajian Zhenren Huoming Yin (Modified Immortal's Life-Decree Decoction), also known as Qianjin Neixiao San.

Furong Gao (Hibiscus Leaf Ointment)
Folium Hibisci Mutabilis (Furongye, 芙蓉叶) and Fructus Viticis Negundo (Huangjingzi, 黄荆子) in equal parts, powdered.
Pound thoroughly in a stone mortar. Mix with egg white, apply to affected area, leaving the top open. Smoke indicates efficacy. Use before ulceration or during impending ulceration.
I. For ulcerated carbuncles and back carbuncles.
Sanshen Gao (Three Gods Ointment)
Semen Ricini (Bimazi Ren, 蓖麻子仁) 1 he.
Vinegar (Chencu, 陈醋) 1 large bowl.
Sal (Yan, 盐) 1 pinch.
Place in pot, stir with locust branch until ointment forms. Clean wound with Zhu Ti Tang (Pig Trotter Soup) or rice washing water. Sweep gently with chicken feather. Skin wrinkles, flesh regenerates.
I. For malignant sores, back carbuncles, and unbearable pain. This medicine protects internal membranes, resolves toxins, and causes internal resolution.
Jiawei Lafan Wan (Modified Beeswax Alum Pill)
Cera Flava (Huangla, 黄蜡) 1 liang.
Alumen Usticum (Kubaifan, 枯白矾) 1 liang.
Resina Boswelliae (Ruxiang, 乳香) 1 qian.
Resina Commiphorae (Moyao, 没药) 1 qian.
Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) 2 qian.
Powder finely. Melt beeswax to form pills, coat with Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂), size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 pills, guided by honey water according to sore location.
I. Carbuncles, ulcers, and boils result from qi-blood stagnation and wind-toxin accumulation. This formula dispels external pathogens, promotes qi-blood flow, drains pus, relieves pain, and generates muscle/flesh. Use on days 5-6, for painful sores whether ulcerated or not.
Jiawei Qianjin Neituo San (Modified Thousand Gold Interior-Expelling Powder)
Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 黄芪) stir-fried in salt water.
Ginseng Radix (Renshen, 人参).
Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, 当归) washed in wine.
Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, 川芎).
Radix Paeoniae Alba (Baishao, 白芍) stir-fried in wine.

Decoct, take 1 liang per dose with water and half cup of good wine. After 2-3 doses, black blood discharge or sweating indicates efficacy. Regardless of severity, unformed sores disperse, formed sores ulcerate. For severe pain, increase Ruxiang, Moyao, Danggui, Baishao.
I. After ulceration of carbuncles, it is crucial to strongly tonify qi and blood, harmonize spleen and stomach, and expel toxins. For excessive pus/blood loss and yin-yang deficiency, this formula has life-restoring power. Physicians should adapt it to specific meridians and seasons. Observing reduced swelling/pain as safety without proper tonification often leads to recurrence and critical deterioration.
Shougong Wanquan Tang (Complete Success Decoction)
Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 黄芪) honey-fried 2.5 qian.
Ginseng Radix (Renshen, 人参) 1 qian.
Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 白术) rhizome removed, stir-fried 1 qian.

Decoct with 1 slice of fresh ginger. Take warm. For thirst, add Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong, 麦门冬) and Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi, 五味子). For irritability, add Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang, 生地黄) and Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong, 麦门冬). For phlegm, add Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum (Banxia, 姜制半夏). For diarrhea, add Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Coumu, 浓朴) ginger-fried. For difficult urination, add Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie, 泽泻). For palpitations/insomnia, add Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 远志) and Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren, 酸枣仁) stir-fried. For chest fullness, add Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Coumu, 浓朴) ginger-fried and Crataegi Fructus (Zharou, 楂肉).
This formula treats post-ulceration carbuncles/back carbuncles where toxins are exhausted, qi-blood is weak, muscles do not grow, wounds do not close, and thin pus suggests residual symptoms.
I. For carbuncles/back carbuncles after pus discharge, indicating spleen/stomach deficiency, loss of appetite, vomiting/diarrhea, limb heaviness/weakness.
Baxian Gao (Eight Immortals Cake)
Ginseng Radix (Renshen, 人参) rhizome removed.
Poria (Fuling, 茯苓) peeled.
Dioscoreae Rhizoma Dryum (Ganshashen, 干山药).
Euryales Semen (Qianshi, 芡实) shelled.
Nelumbinis Plumula (Lianrou, 莲肉) heart removed.
Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 白术) oil-free, soaked in rice water overnight, sliced, lightly stir-fried (4 liang each).
Sucrose (Baitangshuang, 白糖霜) 1 jin.
Oryza Sativa (Bajingmi, 白粳米) 2 sheng, washed, ground fine.
Mix powders, knead evenly, sieve, steam in steamer, cut with bamboo knife, bake dry. Eat freely.
Lianchuang Zhitong Shengji San (Wound-Astringing Pain-Relieving Muscle-Generating Powder)
Gongfen (Gongfen, 宫粉) calcined to yellow.

Slice finely. Adjust dosage based on sore size. Boil 2 front pig trotters (1 jin) in 3 sheng water until soft. Strain broth, remove fat and dregs. Use 1 liang of herb mixture per portion, boil briefly, strain. Dip old paper in warm broth, gently wipe sore. Dead flesh and bad blood wash away. Dry with cloth, apply ointment, avoid wind, avoid breath contact. Do not touch with hands.
I. For all malignant sores, carbuncles, back carbuncles. Reduces swelling/toxicity, removes dead flesh. For pus without head, apply to puncture, inducing natural rupture.
Tizhen Wan (Needle-Replacement Pill)
Arsenicum (Renyan, 人言) 1 qian, powdered, heated with Alum until silent.
Realgar (Sha, 砂) 5 fen.
Crotonis Fructus (Badou, 巴豆) 10 seeds.
Resina Boswelliae (Ruxiang, 乳香) 3 fen.
Resina Commiphorae (Moyao, 没药) 3 fen.
Cardamomi Fructus (Bai Xiong Dingxiang, 白雄丁香) 7 fen.
Powder, make pills with flour paste, size of beans. Grind in warm water, apply frequently to sore head. Miraculous.
Tizhen San (Needle-Replacement Powder)
Momordicae Fructus (Mubiezi, 木鳖子) and Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Chuanwu, 川乌), grind in water, brush on sore, leave one large opening for pus. Reapply if dry. Penetrates quickly.
I. For major toxins like back carbuncles, neck/head sores. Apply regardless of ulceration. For unformed swelling, apply broadly to resolve. For ulcerated, apply around swelling, cover opening with Shenyi Gao. Change 2-3 times daily, avoid wind. Miraculous.

Concha Meretricis (Wenge, 文蛤) 3.6 liang, crushed, stir-fried black, powdered.
Calomelas (Qingfen, 轻粉) 3 qian, ground.

Cortex Sophorae et Salicis (Huailiupi, 槐柳皮) 49 segments, 1 cun each.
Soak herbs in 3.4 jin Sesame Oil (Mayou, 麻油) for 5 days (spring), 3 (summer), 7 (autumn), 10 (winter). Boil with mulberry wood fire until black. When Squama Manis floats black, filter through silk. Re-boil oil until drops form beads. Add 14 liang Litharge (Huandan, 黄丹), stir continuously with willow twig until consistency is right. Add Resina Boswelliae, Resina Commiphorae (3 qian each), Resina Draconis (3 qian), Dalbergiae Odoriferae Lignum (Xiangchen, 真降香末) 3 qian. Cool, add Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香) 2 qian. Soak in water 2-3 days to remove fire nature. Spread for use.

Powder, mix with jujube paste and refined honey. Make pills size of Sophora seeds. Take 60-70 pills on empty stomach with salt water.
I. Elderly taking Jiabajia Wei Wan long-term avoid carbuncles/toxins and Xiao Ke (Wasting-Thirst) syndrome.
