固阳汤

一脱阳症。多因大吐大泻之后。四肢逆冷。元气不接。不省人事。或伤寒新瘥。误与妇
人交
小腹紧痛。外肾缩入。面黑气喘。冷汗自出。须臾不救。先以葱白炒令热。熨脐下。次用
附子（两个去皮熏一两正） 白术（去芦炒去油） 干姜（炮各五钱） 木香（二钱五分）
上锉。每剂五两。水煎服。须臾。再一服。
一方。用葱白连须六七根。研烂。热酒调服。外用炒盐熨脐下气海。勿令气冷。
一治阴症。手足厥冷。急用
三仙散
大附子（炮去皮脐） 官桂 干姜（炒各等分）
上共为细末。每服三钱。滚酒调服。即愈。
一论阴症。腹痛身冷。宜
回阳散
硫黄（四分） 胡椒（六分）
上为细末。每服三分。烧酒调服。
一治阴症秘方。
用硫黄化开。倾入井水内。取出为末。饭为丸。如梧桐子大。每服三钱。温酒调下。
一治阴症。
用鱼鳔一个。烧存性。胡椒四十九粒。为末。热酒调下。
又方。用黑豆不拘多少。锅内炒熟。乘热以好酒淬之。就以盖住。勿令泄气。候温饮酒
大效。
一治阴症腹痛。手足厥冷。阴缩。用朝脑二三钱。滚酒调服。用枯白矾以水调涂两手。
相合于大腿内夹之。良久汗出即愈。
一治阴毒手足厥冷。脉息沉细。头痛腰重。兼治阴毒咳逆等疾。川乌头、干姜等分。为
粗散。炒令转色。候冷。再捣为细末。每服一钱。水一盏。盐一撮。煎取半盏温服。
一治阴症。
用大艾炷灸脐中。预将蒜捣汁擦脐上。后放艾多灸之。其脐上下左右各开一寸。用小艾
炷灸之。五七炷为度。
如玉茎缩入于内。速令人捉定。急将艾丸如绿豆大。放在马口灸二壮。其茎即出。仍用
加味理中汤主之。
一论阴症。小便缩入腹内。用极肥壮母鸡一只。快刀将脊上急急劈破。用手扯开。连毛
带屎。合放病患肚脐上。令人用足 鸡上。须臾热透。小便即出。
一论因女色成阴症者。宜之。用
回阳膏
白矾（煮三钱） 黄丹（二钱） 干姜（五钱） 母丁香（十个） 胡椒（十五六枚）
上为末。用醋调得所。以男左女右。握药搭脐上。盖被出汗即愈。
一治阴症最效方。
芥菜子（七钱） 干姜（三钱）
上为末。水调作饼。贴脐上。手帕缚之。放些盐。以熨斗熨之。数次汗出为度。又将病
人小便。攀阴茎往上。尽头处。用艾炷灸七壮神效。
一治阴症不能服药。不得汗出者。
回阳散
丁香 干姜 乳香 没药 胡椒（各三钱）
上为末。每用三钱。以唾调涂在两手心。安于两膝间。以手帕缚定。用绵被盖之。其汗
自出。
一紧阴。及大小便不通。小芥菜子半碗。为细末。黄丹一撮。腊醋烧滚调糊。摊脐上。
以
纸盖住。热如火。不妨以一炷香为度。将药去了。用青布沾水凉之。如忍得热。不用水更妙
一紧阴。用胡椒 干姜各二钱。为细末。唾津调涂自己手心。绵纸盖按阴户上侧卧效。
丹溪说：人的身体，贵在阴阳升降平衡，平和无偏颇。如果有偏盛偏衰，就会成为祸患。痼冷这一病症，是由于人体真阳耗散，脾胃虚弱，加上食用生冷食物，损伤了脾胃，使寒气固结在脏腑中不散，从而导致手足厥冷，怕冷憎寒，饮食不消化，呕吐涎沫，或者大肠洞泄（腹泻如水），或者小便频数。治疗法则应当温补下元，兼以调理脾胃。又有因肺虚而畏寒的，使人咳嗽，尤其应当详细辨证施治。
第一种论述阴症：身体安静且沉重，言语无声，气少难以喘息，眼神清明，口鼻出冷气，水浆不能入口，大小便失禁，面部恶寒，感觉像刀刮一样。先用葱熨法。（方剂见“中寒”篇）接着用理中汤。
加味理中汤
大附子（面包煨熟，去皮和脐） 人参 白术（去芦头，炒） 干姜（炒） 肉桂 陈皮 白茯苓（去皮，各等分） 甘草（减半，炙）
以上药物锉碎，加生姜三片，大枣两枚，水煎热服。
第二种论述阳症归阴：阴囊收缩入腹，手足厥冷，腹痛胀满，冷汗大出，脉象或洪大或弦紧。
固阳汤
黄芪（蜜水炒） 人参（各一钱） 白术（去芦头，炒二两） 白茯苓（去皮二钱） 干姜（一钱，炒） 白姜（一钱，炒） 良姜（一钱，腹痛时加倍使用） 浓朴（姜汁炒一钱） 大附子（泡制一钱）
以上药物锉成一剂，水煎热服。
第三种脱阳症：多因剧烈呕吐腹泻之后，四肢逆冷，元气断绝，神志不清。或者是伤寒病刚痊愈，误与妇人交合，导致小腹紧痛，外肾（睾丸）收缩入腹，面色发黑，气喘，冷汗自出。如果不及时抢救，片刻之间便会死亡。先用葱白炒热，熨烫脐下部位。接着用以下方剂：
附子（两个，去皮，熏制一两正） 白术（去芦头，炒去油） 干姜（炮制，各五钱） 木香（二钱五分）
以上药物锉碎，每剂取五两，水煎服。片刻后，再服一剂。
另一方：用葱白连须六七根，研烂，用热酒调服。外用炒盐熨烫脐下的气海穴，不要让热气散失。
第四种治疗阴症：手足厥冷，急用
三仙散
大附子（炮制，去皮和脐） 官桂 干姜（炒，各等分）
以上共为细末，每次服用三钱，用滚开水调服，即可痊愈。
第五种论述阴症：腹痛身冷，宜用
回阳散
硫黄（四分） 胡椒（六分）
以上为细末，每次服用三分，用烧酒调服。
第六种治疗阴症的秘方：
用硫黄熔化，倒入井水中，取出后研为粉末，用米饭做丸，如梧桐子大小。每次服用三钱，温酒送下。
第七种治疗阴症：
用一个鱼鳔，烧至存性，配合四十九粒胡椒，研为粉末，用热酒调下。
又一方：用黑豆不拘多少，在锅内炒熟，趁热用好酒淬之，随即盖住，不要让它泄气。待温热时饮酒，效果显著。
第八种治疗阴症腹痛，手足厥冷，阴器收缩：用冰片二三钱，滚酒调服。用枯白矾用水调匀涂在双手手心，合拢夹在大腿内侧。良久出汗即愈。
第九种治疗阴毒所致的手足厥冷，脉息沉细，头痛腰重，兼治阴毒咳逆等疾病：川乌头、干姜等分，研为粗散，炒令变色，候冷后再捣为细末。每次服用一钱，用水一盏，盐一撮，煎取半盏，温服。
第十种治疗阴症：
用大艾炷灸脐中。预先将蒜捣汁擦在脐上，然后放置艾炷多灸。在脐的上下左右各开一寸处，用小艾炷灸之，五到七壮为限度。
如果玉茎（阴茎）缩入体内，速让人捉定，急忙将绿豆大的艾丸放在马口（尿道口）灸二壮，阴茎即可伸出。随后仍用加味理中汤主治。
第十一种论述阴症：小便缩入腹内，用极肥壮的母鸡一只，快刀迅速将脊背劈破，用手扯开，连毛带屎，合放于病患肚脐上。让人用脚踩在鸡身上，片刻后热气透入，小便即可排出。
第十二种论述因房事过度而成阴症者，适宜使用此方。用
回阳膏
白矾（煮三钱） 黄丹（二钱） 干姜（五钱） 母丁香（十个） 胡椒（十五六个）
以上研为粉末，用醋调得适中，男左女右，握药搭在脐上，盖上被子出汗即愈。
第十三种治疗阴症最有效的方剂：
芥菜子（七钱） 干姜（三钱）
以上研为粉末，用水调成饼状，贴于脐上，用手帕绑缚，放些盐，用熨斗熨烫，数次出汗为度。又将病人的小便，攀着阴茎往上，到尽头处，用艾炷灸七壮，神效。
第十四种治疗阴症不能服药，不得汗出的情况：
回阳散
丁香 干姜 乳香 没药 胡椒（各三钱）
以上研为粉末，每次取三钱，用唾液调匀涂在两手心，安放在两膝间，用手帕绑定，用绵被盖住，其汗自然流出。
第十五种紧阴证，以及大小便不通：小芥菜子半碗，研为细末，黄丹一撮，腊醋烧滚调成糊状，摊在脐上，用纸盖住，热如火，不妨以一炷香的时间为度。将药去掉，用青布沾水冷却。如果能忍受热度，不用水冷却更妙。
Danxi stated: The human body relies on the balanced ascent and descent of Yin and Yang, maintaining harmony without deviation. If there is an excess or deficiency, it becomes a source of disease. The condition of chronic cold (Gu Leng) arises from the dispersion of true Yang in the body, weakness of the Spleen and Stomach, compounded by the consumption of cold foods which damage the Spleen and Stomach. This causes cold to consolidate within the Zang-Fu organs and fail to dissipate, leading to cold extremities (Jue Leng), aversion to cold, indigestion, vomiting of saliva and froth, diarrhea with watery stools (Dong Xie), or frequent urination. The treatment principle should be to warm the Lower Yuan (Kidney and lower abdomen) and simultaneously regulate the Spleen and Stomach. In cases where fear of cold is due to Lung Qi deficiency, causing coughing, detailed differentiation and treatment are particularly necessary.
First, discussion of Yin Syndrome: The body is still and heavy, speech is silent, breath is short and difficult, eyes are clear, cold air emanates from the mouth and nose, inability to take fluids, incontinence of urine and feces, facial aversion to cold feeling as if scraped by a knife. First apply the Scallion Moxibustion method (see "Zhong Han" chapter). Then use Lizhong Tang.
Modified Lizhong Decoction (Jiawei Lizhong Tang)
Fuzi (Aconite Lateralis Radix Praeparata), baked in bread until cooked, peel removed, umbilical scar removed; Renshen (Ginseng Radix); Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), rhizome tips removed, stir-fried; Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), stir-fried; Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex); Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium); Fuling (Poria), peel removed; all in equal parts. Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), halved amount, honey-fried.
Crush the above herbs. Add three slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and two Jujubae Fructus. Decoct in water and take hot.
Second, discussion of Yang Syndrome transforming into Yin: Retraction of the scrotum, cold extremities, abdominal pain and distension, profuse cold sweating, pulse may be surging or wiry.
Guyang Decoction (Guyang Tang)
Huangqi (Astragali Radix), fried with honey water; Renshen (Ginseng Radix), each 1 qian; Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), rhizome tips removed, stir-fried, 2 liang; Fuling (Poria), peel removed, 2 qian; Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), 1 qian, stir-fried; Baijiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), 1 qian, stir-fried; Liangjiang (Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma), 1 qian, double dose for abdominal pain; Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), stir-fried with ginger juice, 1 qian; Fuzi (Aconite Lateralis Radix Praeparata), soaked, 1 qian.
Crush one dose. Decoct in water and take hot.
Third, Tuoyang Syndrome (Yang Collapse): Often occurs after severe vomiting and diarrhea, with cold limbs, exhaustion of Yuan Qi, and loss of consciousness. Or, shortly after recovery from Shanghan (Cold Damage), engaging in sexual intercourse leads to tightness and pain in the lower abdomen, retraction of the external genitalia, blackish complexion, panting, and spontaneous cold sweating. Without immediate rescue, death ensues within moments. First, stir-fry Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) until hot and moxa-compress the area below the navel. Then use the following prescription:
Fuzi (Aconite Lateralis Radix Praeparata), two pieces, peel removed, smoked, 1 liang zheng; Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), rhizome tips removed, stir-fried to remove oil; Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), processed, each 5 qian; Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), 2.5 qian.
Crush. Take 5 liang per dose, decoct in water. After a short while, administer another dose.
Another formula: Use 6-7 stalks of Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) with roots, grind into a paste, and mix with hot wine for oral administration. Externally, stir-fry salt and compress the Qihai acupoint below the navel, ensuring heat does not dissipate.
Fourth, treating Yin Syndrome with cold extremities: Urgently use Sanxian San.
Sanxian Powder (Sanxian San)
Fuzi (Aconite Lateralis Radix Praeparata), processed, peel and umbilical scar removed; Guigui (Cinnamomi Ramulus); Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), stir-fried, all in equal parts.
Grind into fine powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mix with boiling water and drink. Cure immediately.
Fifth, discussion of Yin Syndrome with abdominal pain and cold body: Use Huyang San.
Huyang Powder (Huyang San)
Liu Huang (Sulfur), 4 fen; Hujiao (Piperis Longi Fructus), 6 fen.
Grind into fine powder. Take 3 fen per dose, mix with distilled liquor and drink.
Sixth, secret recipe for treating Yin Syndrome:
Melt Liu Huang (Sulfur), pour into well water, retrieve, and grind into powder. Form pills using rice flour, size of Sophorae Semen. Take 3 qian per dose, wash down with warm wine.
Seventh, treating Yin Syndrome:
Use one Yu Biao (Bladder of Fish), burn until carbonized (preserving efficacy). Mix with 49 grains of Hujiao (Piperis Longi Fructus), grind into powder, and take with hot wine.
Another method: Use Heidou (Sojae Semen Nigrum) in any quantity, stir-fry in a pot until cooked. While hot, quench with good wine. Cover immediately to prevent vapor escape. Drink when warm for great effect.
Eighth, treating Yin Syndrome with abdominal pain, cold extremities, and genital retraction: Use Naobing (Borneolum Syntheticum) 2-3 qian, mix with boiling wine and drink. Apply Kubai Fan (Alumen) mixed with water to the palms of both hands. Press palms together against the inner thighs. Sweating after some time indicates cure.
Ninth, treating Yindu (Yin Toxin) causing cold extremities, deep and thin pulse, headache, and heavy waist, also treating cough and counterflow qi due to Yindu: Chuan Wutou (Aconiti Radix) and Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) in equal parts. Grind into coarse powder, stir-fry until color changes, cool, then grind into fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, with one cup of water and a pinch of salt. Decoct to half a cup, take warm.
Tenth, treating Yin Syndrome:
Apply large moxa cones to Zhongwan (CV12, center of the navel). Pre-apply crushed garlic juice to the navel, then place moxa and apply extensively. Also apply small moxa cones at points one cun above, below, left, and right of the navel. Five to seven cones per point is the limit.
If the penis retracts internally, hold it firmly immediately. Place a moxa pellet the size of a mung bean on the urethral opening (Makou) and apply two moxa burns. The penis will extend. Subsequently, treat primarily with Modified Lizhong Decoction (Jiawei Lizhong Tang).
Eleventh, discussion of Yin Syndrome where urine retracts into the abdomen: Use a very fat and strong hen. Quickly split the back with a sharp knife, pull apart, and place the hen (with feathers and excrement) over the patient's navel. Have someone step on the hen. After a moment, heat penetrates, and urine flows out.
Twelfth, discussing Yin Syndrome caused by excessive sexual activity: Use Huyang Gao.
Huyang Plaster (Huyang Gao)
Baifan (Alumen), boiled, 3 qian; Huangdan (Lithargyrum), 2 qian; Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), 5 qian; Mudingxiang (Myrti Caryophyllatum Flos), 10 pieces; Hujiao (Piperis Longi Fructus), 15-16 pieces.
Grind into powder. Mix appropriately with vinegar. For men, use the left hand; for women, the right hand. Hold the medicine against the navel, cover with a blanket, and sweat to cure.
Thirteenth, most effective formula for treating Yin Syndrome:
Jiecaizi (Sinapis Semen), 7 qian; Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), 3 qian.
Grind into powder, mix with water to form a cake, apply to the navel, bind with a handkerchief, add some salt, and iron over it. Repeat until sweating occurs. Additionally, guide the patient's urine stream up along the penis to the tip, and apply seven moxa burns there for miraculous effect.
Fourteenth, treating Yin Syndrome where medication cannot be taken and sweating does not occur:
Huyang San (Huyang Powder)
Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), Hujiao (Piperis Longi Fructus), each 3 qian.
Grind into powder. Take 3 qian, mix with saliva, apply to the palms. Place between the knees, bind with a handkerchief, cover with a cotton quilt. Sweat will naturally emerge.
Fifteenth, Jin Yin Syndrome (Tight Yin) and obstruction of urination and defecation: Half a bowl of Xiaojiecaizi (Sinapis Semen), grind into fine powder. Mix with a pinch of Huangdan (Lithargyrum) and boiling La Cu (Vinegar) to form a paste. Spread on the navel, cover with paper. It will feel as hot as fire. Endure for the duration of one incense stick. Remove the medicine, cool with a green cloth dipped in water. If the heat is bearable, cooling with water is unnecessary and better.
Sixteenth, Jin Yin Syndrome: Use Hujiao (Piperis Longi Fructus) and Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), 2 qian each. Grind into powder, mix with saliva, apply to own palms. Cover with cotton paper, press against the vulva, lie on side for effectiveness.
