五色丸 通治五痫。

上为末。炼蜜丸。如麻子大。每服三四丸。金银薄荷汤下。
散风丹 治小儿风痫。先用此药。
牛胆南星（二钱） 羌活 独活 防风 天麻 人参 川芎 荆芥穗 细辛（各一钱）
上为末。炼蜜为丸如梧子大。每服二丸。用薄荷紫苏汤。不拘时送下。
独活汤 治小儿风痫。解表通里。
独活 麻黄（去节） 川芎（各一钱） 大黄 甘草（炒各五分）
上锉碎。每服二钱。用水一钟。生姜二片。煎至四分。不拘时温服。
牛黄丸 治小儿风痫迷闷。抽掣涎潮。
牛胆南星 全蝎（焙去毒） 蝉壳（各二钱五分） 防风 牛黄 白附子（生） 直僵蚕（炒去丝
嘴） 天麻（各一钱五分） 麝香（五分）
上为末。以煮枣去皮复选肉。和水银半钱。研极细。次入药末。和丸如绿豆大。每服三四丸。用荆芥生姜煎汤
送下。不拘时服。
七宝镇心丸 治小儿惊痫心热。
远志（去心姜制炒） 雄黄 铁粉 琥珀（各二钱） 朱砂（一钱） 金银箔（四片） 麝香（少许）
上为细末。煮枣取肉为丸。如梧子大。每服三五丸。煎去心麦冬汤化下。不拘时服。
清心丸 治小儿躁闷。项背强直。腰背反张。时发时醒。大人中风。小儿惊风。

枚蒸熟去皮核烂研成膏入药）
上除枣杏仁及牛黄麝香雄黄龙脑四味。另为细末。入前药和匀。炼蜜与枣膏为丸。每两作十丸。用金箔为
衣。每服一丸。温白汤化下。食后服。小儿惊痫即酌度多少。以竹叶煎汤。温温化下。
五色丸 通用治疗五种痫证。

独活汤 治疗小儿风痫。解表通里。

以上药材切碎。每次服用二钱。用水一钟，生姜两片，煎至四分之三量，不限时间温服。
牛黄丸 治疗小儿风痫迷闷、抽搐、涎潮。
牛胆南星 全蝎（焙干去毒） 蝉蜕（各二钱五分） 防风 牛黄 白附子（生用） 直僵蚕（炒去丝嘴） 天麻（各一钱五分） 麝香（五分）
以上药材研为细末。取煮熟的枣去皮后选取果肉，加入半钱水银，研磨至极细，再纳入药末，和匀制成如绿豆大小的丸药。每次服用三四丸。用荆芥、生姜煎汤送服，不限时间服用。
七宝镇心丸 治疗小儿惊痫心热。
远志（去心，姜汁制后炒） 雄黄 铁粉 琥珀（各二钱） 朱砂（一钱） 金银箔（四片） 麝香（少许）
以上药材研为细末。取煮枣的果肉制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三五丸。用煎煮的去心麦冬汤化开送服，不限时间服用。
清心丸 治疗小儿烦躁闷乱、项背强直、腰背反张、时发时醒。也用于大人中风、小儿惊风。
牛黄（一两二钱，研磨） 麝香（研磨） 龙脑（另研） 羚羊角（粉末，各一两） 当归（去芦头） 防风（去芦头）
黄芩 麦门冬（去心） 白芍药 白术（各一两半） 柴胡（去苗） 杏仁（去皮尖，双仁者用麸炒黄后另研）
桔梗 白茯苓（去皮） 川芎（各一两二钱半） 阿胶（锉碎成末，用蛤粉炒） 肉桂（去粗皮） 大豆卷（碎炒，各一两七钱半） 蒲黄（炒制） 人参（去芦头） 神曲（炒制，各二两半） 甘草（炒制五钱） 雄黄（八钱，飞制后另研）
白蔹 干姜（各七钱半） 金箔（一千二百片，留四百片作为包衣） 犀角粉（二两） 干山楂（十两） 大枣（一百枚，蒸熟去皮核，烂研成膏入药）
以上药材除枣、杏仁以及牛黄、麝香、雄黄、龙脑这四味外，其余另研为细末，与前药混合均匀。用炼蜜与枣膏制成丸药，每两药粉制成十丸。用金箔作为包衣。每次服用一丸。用温白开水化开送服。饭后服用。小儿惊痫则酌情增减剂量，用竹叶煎汤，温热化开送服。
Wuse Wan (Five-Color Pill) is used to treat all five types of epilepsy.
Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂), ground, 5 qian; Mercury (Shuiyin, 水银), 1 fen; Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), prepared, 1 fen; Lead (Qian, 铅), 3 liang, prepared together with mercury; Pearl powder (Zhenzhu mo, 珍珠末), ground, 1 liang.
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Form pills using refined honey, sized like hemp seeds. Take 3–4 pills per dose, administered with a decoction of Honeysuckle (Jinyinhua, 金银花) and Mint (Bohe, 薄荷).
Sanfeng Dan (Wind-Dispersing Pill) treats pediatric wind-epilepsy. This medicine should be used first.
Arisaema cum Bile (Niudan Nanting, 牛胆南星), 2 qian; Notopterygium Rhizome (Qianghuo, 羌活); Angelica Pubescens Root (Duhuo, 独活); Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 防风); Gastrodia Tuber (Tianma, 天麻); Codonopsis Root (Renshen, 人参); Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong, 川芎); Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjiesui, 荆芥穗); Asarum Root (Xixin, 细辛). Each, 1 qian.
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Form pills using refined honey, sized like sophora seeds. Take 2 pills per dose, administered at any time with a decoction of Mint (Bohe, 薄荷) and Perilla Leaf (Zisuye, 紫苏叶).
Duhuo Tang (Notopterygium Decoction) treats pediatric wind-epilepsy. It releases the exterior and unblocks the interior.
Notopterygium Rhizome (Duhuo, 独活); Ephedra Stem (Mahuang, 麻黄), nodes removed; Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong, 川芎). Each, 1 qian; Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄); Licorice Root (Gancao, 甘草), stir-fried. Each, 5 fen.
Cut the above ingredients into pieces. Take 2 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water and two slices of fresh ginger. Decoct until three-quarters of the liquid remains. Take warm at any time.
Niuhuang Wan (Calculus Bovis Pill) treats pediatric wind-epilepsy characterized by confusion, convulsions, and excessive salivation.
Arisaema cum Bile (Niudan Nanting, 牛胆南星); Whole Scorpion (Quanxie, 全蝎), baked to remove toxicity; Cicada Slough (Chanqiao, 蝉壳). Each, 2.5 qian; Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 防风); Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, 牛黄); White Arisaema (Baifuzi, 白附子), raw; Silkworm (Jiangcan, 僵蚕), stir-fried, silk mouth removed; Gastrodia Tuber (Tianma, 天麻). Each, 1.5 qian; Musk (Shexiang, 麝香), 5 fen.
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Take flesh from boiled jujubes, remove skin, add 0.5 qian of mercury, and grind extremely finely. Then incorporate the medicinal powder and form pills sized like mung beans. Take 3–4 pills per dose, administered with a decoction of Schizonepeta (Jingjie, 荆芥) and fresh ginger. Take at any time.
Qibao Zhenxin Wan (Seven-Treasure Heart-Calming Pill) treats pediatric fright-epilepsy with heart heat.
Polygala Root (Yuanzhi, 远志), heart removed, processed with ginger juice and stir-fried; Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄); Iron Powder (Tiefen, 铁粉); Amber (Hupo, 琥珀). Each, 2 qian; Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂), 1 qian; Gold and Silver Foil (Jinyinbo, 金银箔), four leaves; Musk (Shexiang, 麝香), a small amount.
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use flesh from boiled jujubes to form pills sized like sophora seeds. Take 3–5 pills per dose, dissolved and taken with a decoction of Ophiopogon Tuber (Maidong, 麦门冬) with the heart removed. Take at any time.
Qingxin Wan (Heart-Clearing Pill) treats pediatric restlessness and oppression, stiffness of the neck and back, opisthotonos, intermittent发作 and recovery. It is also used for stroke in adults and infantile convulsions.
Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, 牛黄), 1 liang 2 qian, ground; Musk (Shexiang, 麝香), ground; Borneol (Longnao, 龙脑), ground separately; Antelope Horn (Lingyangjiao, 羚羊角), powdered. Each, 1 liang; Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui, 当归), radix removed; Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 防风), radix removed; Scutellaria Root (Huangqin, 黄芩); Ophiopogon Tuber (Maimendong, 麦门冬), heart removed; White Peony Root (Baishao, 白芍药); Atractodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu, 白术). Each, 1.5 liang; Bupleurum Root (Chaihu, 柴胡), sprouts removed; Apricot Seed (Xingren, 杏仁), skin and tips removed, double-kernel ones stir-fried with bran until yellow and ground separately; Platycodon Root (Jiegeng, 桔梗); Poria (Baifuling, 白茯苓), skin removed; Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Xiong, 川芎). Each, 1 liang 2.5 qian; Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao, 阿胶), cut into pieces and ground, stir-fried with clam powder; Cinnamon Bark (Rougui, 肉桂), rough bark removed; Soybean Sprout (Dadoujuan, 大豆卷), crushed and stir-fried. Each, 1 liang 7.5 qian; Lygodium Spore (Puhuang, 蒲黄), stir-fried; Codonopsis Root (Renshen, 人参), radix removed; Medicated Leaven (Shenqu, 神曲), stir-fried. Each, 2.5 liang; Licorice Root (Gancao, 甘草), stir-fried, 5 qian; Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), 8 qian, purified and ground separately; White Peony Root (Bailian, 白蔹); Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, 干姜). Each, 7.5 qian; Gold Foil (Jinbo, 金箔), 1200 leaves, reserve 400 leaves for coating; Rhinoceros Horn Powder (Xijiaomo, 犀角末), 2 liang; Dried Hawthorn Fruit (Ganshanzha, 干山楂), 10 liang; Jujube (Dazao, 大枣), 100 fruits, steamed until ripe, skin and pits removed, mashed into paste and added to the medicine.
Except for the jujube, apricot seeds, Calculus Bovis, Musk, Realgar, and Borneol, which are ground into fine powder separately, mix these with the other medicines. Form pills using refined honey and jujube paste. Each liang of powder makes ten pills. Coat with gold foil. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in warm plain water. Take after meals. For pediatric fright-epilepsy, adjust the dosage appropriately. Dissolve in a warm decoction of Bamboo Leaves (Zhuyeq, 竹叶).
