用东向 荷根，捣绞取汁一二升，顿服立愈。
亦治蛄毒痔血，妇人腰腹痛，大起后出清血也。

上四味， 咀，以水五升，煮取一升，纳马通汁一升，煮取一升，顿服。
治下血，连岁不愈方。
黄连（半斤）
上一味，捣末，以鸡子白和为饼子，微火炙令黄黑，复捣筛，饮服方寸匕，日三，有效。
下清血，痿黄失色，医不能治者，皆瘥。忌猪肉。
诸下血者，先见血后见便，此为远血，宜服黄土汤；若先见便，后见血，此是近血，宜
服赤小豆散。
赤小豆散方。
赤小豆（三升，熬） 当归（三两）
凡二物，冶筛，服方寸匕，日三。
黄土汤方
灶中黄土（半升，绵裹） 甘草（三两，炙） 干姜（二两） 黄芩（一两） 阿胶（三
两，炙）
干地黄（五两，一方三两）
凡六物，以水一斗，煮取三升，分三服。
断血诸方所云∶下血者，其从腹里出者，悉为下血也。有痔病，血从孔边出者，别寻痔
方。
治鼻衄血出数斗，眩冒，剧者不知人方。
干姜屑，龙骨末，吹之即止。
又方
取乱发五两，烧之冶末，取如枣核，着筒头，吹着鼻孔中。不止，益末吹之，并服方寸
匕，日三，甚者夜二。
又方
未龙骨为散，着苇筒中，吹鼻孔中即断。苦从耳出亦可吹之。
又治鼻衄积年，夜卧起，而肩头有凝血数升，众治不瘥方。
舂 叶，绞取汁，日饮三升，不过四五饮愈，神良。
治小便血，菟丝丸方。
菟丝子 蒲黄 干地黄 白芷 荆实 葵子 败酱 当归 茯苓 芎 （各二两）
上十味，合捣为末，以白蜜和丸，如梧子大，饮服二丸，日三服。不知，加至五六丸。
刘洪 方。已效，常服。忌酢物、芜荑。
生地黄汤，治小便血方。
生地黄（半斤） 柏叶（一把） 黄芩（二两） 胶（二两） 甘草（二两）
凡五物，以水七升，煮取三升，绞去滓，纳胶令烊，取二升半，分三服。
治疗吐血的方法。
使用向东生长的荷根，捣碎并绞取汁液一至二升，一次性服用即可立即痊愈。
此法也用于治疗蛄毒引起的痔疮出血、妇女腰腹部疼痛，以及产后排出清血的情况。
治疗吐血、汗血、大小便出血的竹茹汤方。

干姜、阿胶各（二两） 艾叶（一把）
以上四味药，切碎，用水五升，煎煮至一升，加入马通汁（马粪浸出的汁液）一升，再煎煮至一升，一次性服用。
治疗下血（便血），多年不愈的方子。
黄连（半斤）
将一味药捣成粉末，用鸡蛋清调和做成饼状，用微火烤至黄黑色，再次研磨过筛，用水送服一方寸匕的药末，每日三次，有效。
对于排出清血、身体萎黄失色、医生无法治愈的情况，都能痊愈。忌食猪肉。
凡是下血者，先见血后见大便，这称为远血，适宜服用黄土汤；如果先见大便后见血，这称为近血，适宜服用赤小豆散。
赤小豆散方。
赤小豆（三升，炒熟） 当归（三两）
以上两味药，研磨过筛，每次服用一方寸匕，每日三次。
黄土汤方
灶中黄土（半升，用绵布包裹） 甘草（三两，炙烤） 干姜（二两） 黄芩（一两） 阿胶（三两，炙烤） 干地黄（五两，另一版本为三两）
以上六味药，用水一斗，煎煮至三升，分三次服用。
断血各类方剂中所说：下血者，其血液从腹内部出来的，都统称为下血。如果有痔病，血液从肛门边缘流出的，另行查找治疗痔疮的方子。
治疗鼻衄出血数斗，头晕目眩，严重者昏迷不醒的方子。
干姜屑，龙骨末，吹入鼻孔即止血。
又一方
取乱发五两，烧成灰研末，取如枣核大小的量，装入筒头，吹入鼻孔中。若不止血，增加药末吹入，并同时口服一方寸匕的药末，每日三次，重症者夜间加服两次。
又一方
将未使用的龙骨研成散剂，放入芦苇筒中，吹入鼻孔中即可止血。苦于从耳部出血的也可以吹入。
又治疗鼻衄积年不愈，夜间起床时，肩部有凝结的血数升，众医治疗无效的方子。
舂捣荷叶，绞取汁液，每日饮用三升，不超过四五次即可痊愈，效果神奇良好。
治疗小便出血的菟丝丸方。
菟丝子 蒲黄 干地黄 白芷 荆实 葵子 败酱草 当归 茯苓 川芎（各二两）
以上十味药，混合捣成粉末，用白蜜和丸，如梧桐子大小，饮水送服二丸，每日三次。若无明显效果，增加至五六丸。
刘洪的方子。已经验证有效，常服。忌食醋类食物、芜荑。
生地黄汤，治疗小便出血的方子。
生地黄（半斤） 柏叶（一把） 黄芩（二两） 胶（二两） 甘草（二两）
以上五味药，用水七升，煎煮至三升，过滤去渣，加入胶使其融化，取二升半，分三次服用。
Formulas for treating hematemesis.
Use lotus root (Rhizoma Nelumbinis) growing towards the east, crush and squeeze to obtain one to two sheng of juice, take in one dose for immediate cure.
It is also used to treat hemorrhoids bleeding caused by "Gu" toxicity, lower abdominal pain in women, and the discharge of clear blood after childbirth.
Zhu Ru Tang (Bamboo Shavings Decoction) for treating hematemesis, hematohidrosis (sweating blood), and hematuria/hematochezia (blood in urine/stool).
Zhu Ru (Bamboo Shavings) (2 sheng), Gancao (Licorice Root) (6 fen), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis) (6 fen), Xiongqiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong) (6 fen), Huangqin (Scutellaria Baicalensis) (6 fen), Guixin (Cinnamon Twig Heart) (1 liang), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala) (1 liang), Renshen (Ginseng) (1 liang), Shaoyao (Peony Root) (1 liang).
Nine ingredients in total. Boil with one dou of water until three sheng remain. Divide into four doses.
Duliang Xiang San (Duliang Fragrance Powder) for treating profuse sweating like water or syrup, hematohidrosis, epistaxis (nosebleed), hematemesis, and hematuria approaching death.
Duliang Xiang (Litsea Cubeba Root) (2 liang), Ziwan (Aster Tataricus) (1 liang), Rougui (Cinnamon Bark) (1 liang), Renshen (Ginseng) (1 liang), Sheng Zhu Ru (Fresh Bamboo Shavings) (1 liang), Rongshu (Cistanche Deserticola) (1 liang), Sheng Dihuang (Rehmannia Glutinosa) (2 liang).
Seven ingredients in total. Grind and sieve. Take one fangcun bi (measure of volume approx. 2-3 grams) with water.
Formula for treating internal collapse from hematemesis, upward rushing of Qi, and a face color resembling earth.
Ganjiang (Dried Ginger) (2 liang), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin) (2 liang), Aiye (Mugwort Leaf) (1 handful).
Four ingredients in total. Cut into pieces. Boil with five sheng of water until one sheng remains. Add Matong Zhi (Horse Manure Juice) (1 sheng). Boil again until one sheng remains. Take in one dose.
Formula for chronic hematochezia lasting years without cure.
Huanglian (Coptis Chinensis) (0.5 jin).
Grind the single ingredient into powder. Mix with egg white to form cakes. Roast over low heat until yellow-black. Grind and sieve again. Take one fangcun bi with water, three times daily. Effective.
For cases of passing clear blood, emaciation and sallow complexion, which physicians cannot treat, this will cure them. Avoid pork.
Regarding all types of lower gastrointestinal bleeding: if blood appears before stool, it is called "distant blood" (hematochezia from upper GI tract), suitable for taking Huangtu Tang (Yellow Earth Decoction); if stool appears before blood, it is called "close blood" (hematochezia from lower GI tract), suitable for taking Chixiaodou San (Red Bean Powder).
Chixiaodou San (Red Bean Powder) Formula.
Chixiaodou (Adzuki Bean) (3 sheng, roasted), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis) (3 liang).
Two ingredients in total. Grind and sieve. Take one fangcun bi, three times daily.
Huangtu Tang (Yellow Earth Decoction) Formula.
Zaotuzhong Huangtu (Stove Hearth Yellow Earth) (0.5 sheng, wrapped in silk), Gancao (Licorice Root) (3 liang, honey-fried), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger) (2 liang), Huangqin (Scutellaria Baicalensis) (1 liang), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin) (3 liang, honey-fried), Sheng Dihuang (Prepared Rehmannia Root) (5 liang; another version says 3 liang).
Six ingredients in total. Boil with one dou of water until three sheng remain. Divide into three doses.
All formulas for stopping bleeding state: For lower gastrointestinal bleeding originating from inside the abdomen, it is collectively termed lower gastrointestinal bleeding. If there are hemorrhoids and blood flows from the edge of the anus, refer separately to formulas for treating hemorrhoids.
Formula for severe epistaxis losing several dou of blood, dizziness, syncope, or unconsciousness in severe cases.
Ganjiang Xie (Powdered Dried Ginger), Longgu (Fossilized Bones) powder. Blow into the nostrils to stop bleeding immediately.
Another formula.
Take five liang of tangled hair, burn it to ash and grind. Take an amount the size of a jujube pit, place in a tube, and blow into the nostrils. If bleeding does not stop, increase the amount blown in. Also take one fangcun bi orally, three times daily. Severe cases: twice at night as well.
Another formula.
Grind Longgu (Fossilized Bones) into powder, place in a reed tube, and blow into the nostrils to stop bleeding. If bleeding occurs from the ear, it can also be blown in.
Another formula for chronic epistaxis persisting for years, where upon rising at night, several sheng of coagulated blood is found on the shoulders, unresponsive to other treatments.
Chong Ye (Crushed Lotus Leaf), squeeze to obtain juice. Drink three sheng daily. Cure within four or five doses. Highly effective.
Tusi Wan (Dodder Seed Pill) for treating hematuria.
Tusizi (Dodder Seed), Puhuang (Pollen Typhae), Gan Dihuang (Prepared Rehmannia Root), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica), Jingshi (Fructus Viticis), Kuizi (Seed Abutili), Baijiangcao (Patrinia Scabiosifolia), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Fuling (Poria), Xiongqiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong) (each 2 liang).
Ten ingredients in total. Mix, grind into powder, and bind with white honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take two pills with water, three times daily. If ineffective, increase to five or six pills.
Formula from Liu Hong. Proven effective for regular use. Avoid vinegar and Pyrethrum Parthenium (Wuyao).
Sheng Dihuang Tang (Fresh Rehmannia Root Decoction) for treating hematuria.
Sheng Dihuang (Fresh Rehmannia Root) (0.5 jin), Baye (Cacumen Platycladi) (1 handful), Huangqin (Scutellaria Baicalensis) (2 liang), Jiao (Gelatin) (2 liang), Gancao (Licorice Root) (2 liang).
Five ingredients in total. Boil with seven sheng of water until three sheng remain. Strain and remove dregs. Add gelatin and melt. Take two and a half sheng, divided into three doses.
