《巢氏病源》小儿恶疮候∶夫人身体生疮，皆是脏热冲外，外有风湿相搏所生，而风湿之气有挟热毒者，其
疮则痛痒肿 久不瘥，故名恶疮也。
《葛氏肘后》治大人、小儿卒得恶疮不可名识者方。
上烧竹叶和鸡子中黄涂瘥。

《圣惠》治小儿恶疮，一身如麻豆，带脓乍痛乍痒烦热，宜用此方。

上件药捣，罗为末，先取油入铛中，下诸药末，以慢火煎三两沸，然后下黄蜡令消，次下麝香搅令匀，膏
成以瓷合中盛。但小儿疮不识者，涂于故帛上贴之，不过三、五上，去除根本。
《圣惠》治小儿恶疮 肿疼痛黄连膏方
黄连（末） 松脂（各一两） 硫黄（细研） 腻粉（各一分） 腊月猪脂（二两）
上件药先取猪脂入铫子内，以慢火煎令化，去滓，次下松脂，候熔，次下黄连等末，以柳木篦子不住手搅
令匀，候膏成以瓷合盛。涂于疮上，日三用之。
《圣惠》治小儿诸般恶疮及软疖未穴作脓，攻刺疼痛不可忍，走马膏方
坐拿 黄柏（锉） 绿豆 石榴皮（各一两） 甘草（锉） 木鳖子仁 白狗粪（各半两）
上件药捣，罗为末。每使取牛蒡根捣取自然汁调药末，涂于疮疖上，日三换之。如已破，即不用贴此药。
《圣惠》治小儿恶疮淋洗大黄汤方
川大黄 黄连（去须） 黄芩 泽兰 白矾（研） 石南（以上各一两） 戎盐（一分，研） 蛇床子（三合）
上件药细锉合匀。每用三两，以水三大盏煮至二盏，去滓，适寒温淋洗患处，日三用之。
《圣惠》治小儿恶疮方。
腻粉 黄连（去须） 蛇床子（各三分）
上件药捣，细罗为散。每使时先以温盐汤洗疮令净，拭干，以生油调涂之，不过三、五上永瘥。
《圣惠》又方
楸叶（一两，干者） 干漆（一分，捣碎，炒令烟尽）
上件药捣，细罗为散。以大麻油调涂，日三用之。

后急以水漱口，腻粉损齿故也。服药人忌过河及食鱼、酒、热面有毒物。
茅先生治小儿身上一切恶疮方。

《巢氏病源》中关于小儿恶疮的论述：人身体上生出的疮疡，都是由于内脏有热邪向外冲逆，加上外部风湿之气相互搏结而形成的。其中风湿之气如果夹杂了热毒，这种疮就会疼痛、瘙痒、肿胀，且长久不愈，所以称之为“恶疮”。
《葛氏肘后》治疗大人、小孩突然患上无法命名的恶疮的方子。
取烧过的竹叶和鸡蛋黄混合，涂抹患处，直至痊愈。
《葛氏肘后》另一个方子
取蛇床子和黄连各二两，研成粉末，撒在疮面上；如果疮面干燥，就用油脂调和后涂抹。

煮柳叶或柳皮来清洗患处，也可以加入少许盐，这个方子还可以治疗脸上的疮。

取腊月（农历十二月）的猪油一升，头发如鸡蛋大小的一块，活鲫鱼一条，一起煎煮直到完全融化。再加入雄黄、苦参粉末各二两，大附子一枚研成的粉末，绞汁混合，使其凝固，用来敷治各种疮疡，没有不能治愈的。胡治疗疽疥效果显著。

取竹笋汁洗澡清洗，用笋壳研成散剂敷在患处有效。
《葛氏肘后》治疗身上因恶热气频繁起疮的方子。
炒大豆至黄色，研末敷在患处，同时多次煮桃叶洗澡。（《千金方》主张不洗澡，只炒豆豉敷用。）

《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿恶疮让人无法辨认的，适宜敷雌黄散的方子

以上药物捣碎，过筛成粉末。用生油随时调制成像面霜一样的稠度，涂在疮上。每次使用前先用槐枝汤清洗疮口使其干净并擦干，然后敷药。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿恶疮长久不愈，使用的茹散方
茹 桑螵蛸 地龙 乳香 黄丹 黄柏（锉碎，各一两） 麝香（细研） 糯米粉 腻粉（各一分）
以上药物捣碎，细细过筛成散剂。每次使用时不用井水，而是用水和沙糖调制药粉敷在患处。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿恶疮，全身像麻豆一样，带有脓液，时而疼痛时而瘙痒，伴有烦热，适宜用此方。
甘草（锉碎） 赤芍药 白蔹 黄芩（各三分） 黄连（去须） 黄柏（锉碎，各半两）
以上药物捣碎，细细过筛成散剂，用白蜜调和成膏状涂在疮上，每天使用两次，也可以做成汤剂清洗患处更好。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿恶疮的神水膏方
密陀僧（细研） 栝萎根 花 丁香 附子（去皮脐） 人参 防风 沙参（各去芦头） 朱砂 麝香（各细研） 芎（各半分） 龙骨 槟榔 桂心（各半分） 皂荚（一挺，去皮子） 莨菪子（半合，用水淘洗去掉浮起的） 土花硝（一分） 清麻油（一斤） 黄蜡（二两）
以上药物捣碎，过筛成粉末。先取油放入锅中，下诸药粉末，用慢火煎煮两三沸，然后下黄蜡使其融化，接着下麝香搅拌均匀。膏成后盛放在瓷盒中。只要是小儿无法辨认的疮，涂在旧布上贴敷，不超过三五次，就能去除病根。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿恶疮红肿疼痛的黄连膏方
黄连（末） 松脂（各一两） 硫黄（细研） 腻粉（各一分） 腊月猪脂（二两）
以上药物先取猪脂放入铫子内，用慢火煎至融化，去渣，接着下松脂，待其熔化，再下黄连等粉末，用柳木篦子不停地搅拌使其均匀，膏成后盛放在瓷盒中。涂在疮上，每天使用三次。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿各种恶疮及软疖尚未化脓，攻刺疼痛难以忍受，使用的走马膏方

以上药物细切混合均匀。每次取三两，用水三大盏煮至两盏，去渣，趁适温淋洗患处，每天使用三次。

腻粉 黄连（去须） 蛇床子（各三分）
以上药物捣碎，细细过筛成散剂。每次使用时先用温盐水清洗疮口使其干净，擦干，用生油调匀涂抹，不超过三五次即可永远痊愈。

楸叶（一两，干者） 干漆（一分，捣碎，炒至烟尽）
以上药物捣碎，细细过筛成散剂。用大麻油调匀涂抹，每天使用三次。

*Chao Shi Bing Yuan* (Source of Diseases in Chao's Work) on the condition of pediatric severe sores: Sores appearing on the human body are all caused by internal organ heat rushing outward, combined with external wind-dampness clashing. Among these, if the wind-dampness qi carries toxic heat, the sores will be painful, itchy, swollen, and fail to heal for a long time; thus they are named "severe sores" (E Chuang).

Burn bamboo leaves and mix with egg yolk; apply to the affected area until healed.

Burn snake skin into powder, mix with lard (pig fat) and apply.

Take one sheng of lard collected in the twelfth lunar month, a piece of hair the size of an egg, and one live crucian carp. Decoct together until completely dissolved. Then add two liang each of powdered *Xiong Huang* (Realgar) and *Ku Shen* (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, Sophora Root), and one large *Fu Zi* (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, Prepared Aconite Root) ground into powder. Mix, allow to solidify, and apply to various sores; none will fail to heal. Hu noted this is highly effective for treating carbuncles and scabies.

Use bamboo shoot juice to bathe/wash; applying powder made from bamboo husks to the affected area is effective.

Burn chicken eggshells, mix with lard, and apply sparingly to the sores.

Take urine from the father, extract the juice, and use it to bathe the child. It is best if the mother does not know. (The prescription in *Ying Ru Shu* is the same, stating the father should not know.)
*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* (General Benevolent Sages' Pharmacy) prescription for pediatric severe sores that have not healed for a long time, as well as carbuncles, and scabies/tinea, suitable for applying Xionghuang Ointment.

Pound the above ingredients, sieve into powder, mix with mercury, and grind together with lard from the twelfth lunar month into an ointment. Store in a porcelain jar. Before each use, clean the sore thoroughly with rice washing water, dry it, then apply the ointment. Cover with *Huang Bai* (Phellodendri Cortex, Phellodendron Bark) powder using cotton to prevent staining clothes. Use three to two times daily.
*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* prescription for pediatric severe sores that are unrecognizable, suitable for applying Ci Huang San (Powder).
*Ci Huang* (Orpiment, finely ground); *Chi Xiao Dou* (Vigna Semen Rubrum, Red Adzuki Bean); *Hu Fen* (Lead Carbonate, ground in); *Wu Zhu Yu* (Evodiae Fructus, Evodia Fruit, raw use); *Ni Fen* (Calomel, ground in); *Huang Lian* (Coptidis Rhizoma, Coptis, remove mustache); *Huang Bai* (Phellodendri Cortex, Phellodendron Bark, chopped); *Gan Jiang* (Zingiberis Rhizoma, Dried Ginger, raw use); *Suo Chuang Zi* (Cnidii Fructus, Snake Bed Seed, half liang each).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve into powder. Mix with raw oil to a consistency like facial cream and apply to the sores. Before each use, wash the sores clean with branch-of-huai tree water, dry them, then apply the medicine.
*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* prescription for pediatric severe sores that have not healed for a long time, using Ru San (Powder).
[Herb name unclear/typo 'Ru'] *Sang Piao Xiao* (Mantis Egg Case); *Di Long* (Pheretima, Earthworm); *Ru Xiang* (Olibanum, Frankincense); *Huang Dan* (Lithargyrum, Lead Monoxide); *Huang Bai* (Phellodendri Cortex, Phellodendron Bark, chopped, one liang each); *She Xiang* (Moschus, Musk, finely ground); *Nuo Mi Fen* (Glutinous Rice Flour); *Ni Fen* (Calomel, one fen each).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve finely into powder. For use, do not well water; instead, mix with sugar water and apply to the affected area.
*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* prescription for pediatric severe sores where the whole body resembles hemp seeds or beans, with pus, alternating pain and itching, accompanied by irritability and heat.
*Gan Cao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Licorice Root, chopped); *Chi Shao Yao* (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, Red Peony Root); *Bai Lian* (Ampelopsis Radix, Ampelopsis Root); *Huang Qin* (Scutellariae Radix, Scutellaria Root, three qian each); *Huang Lian* (Coptidis Rhizoma, Coptis, remove mustache); *Huang Bai* (Phellodendri Cortex, Phellodendron Bark, chopped, half liang each).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve finely into powder. Mix with white honey to form a paste and apply to the sores. Apply twice daily. Alternatively, decoct for washing is better.

Pound the above ingredients, sieve into powder. First take the oil into a pan, add the herb powders, simmer slowly for two or three boils, then add beeswax to melt. Next add musk and stir evenly. Once the ointment is ready, store in a porcelain jar. For any unrecognizable pediatric sores, apply to old cloth and patch. Within three to five applications, the root cause will be removed.

First take the lard into a pot, melt over slow fire, remove dregs. Then add pine resin, wait until melted. Next add the powders of Coptis etc., stir constantly with a willow wood spatula until uniform. When the ointment is ready, store in a porcelain jar. Apply to sores, three times daily.
*Tai Ping Shui Fang* prescription for various pediatric severe sores and soft boils not yet suppurating, causing unbearable stabbing pain, Zou Ma Gao (Running Horse Ointment).

Finely chop and mix the above ingredients. Take three liang each time, decoct in three sheng of water until reduced to two sheng. Remove dregs, and while warm, wash the affected area. Use three times daily.

(For the latter two, quantity unspecified, powder separately).
For all severe sores, mix the four herbs in equal parts, blend with raw oil, apply to the swelling, cover with paper flower-shaped patches, change once daily. If toxic qi gathers without forming a head, apply medicine around the four sides, leaving the sore opening open. If a severe sore is just perceived, use three qian of the top three herbs plus half qian of mercuric powder, mix evenly, take with wine until vomiting occurs. If no vomit, take more medicine. After vomiting, rinse mouth immediately with water because Ni Fen damages teeth. Patients taking this medicine must avoid crossing rivers, eating fish, alcohol, hot noodles, and toxic foods.

All in equal parts, add *Qing Fen* (Calomel) and grind into powder. First wash sores with salt and green onion water, then apply medicine mixed with sesame oil.
