《圣惠》论∶小儿未发痫之前及欲发痫之后，或壮热连滞，或摇头弄舌，或眼目抽掣，如此是欲发痫，宜早
疗之也。
张涣论∶小儿惊不已，即变成痫疾。又有不因惊而变成痫者，然初亦有证可验。未发之前，身体壮热连
滞不歇，素有痰涎，咽中呀呷作声；或摇头弄舌，眼目斜视，眠睡惊掣。如此必是欲发痫之证，宜截之。
《外台》∶《救急》中军候黑丸 疗诸癖结、淡饮等大良方。治小儿欲发痫方。
桔梗 桂心（各四分） 巴豆（八分，去心皮，熬） 芫花（十二分，熬） 杏仁（五分，去皮尖、二仁者，熬）
上五味，先捣桔梗、桂心、芫花成末，别捣巴豆、杏仁，如膏合和；又捣一千杵，下蜜；又捣二千杵，丸
如胡豆。浆服一丸取利，可至二、三丸。儿生十月欲痫发，可与一、二丸如黍米大。诸腹不快，体中觉患便
服之，得一、两行利即好。忌猪肉、生葱、芦笋等物。
《圣惠》治小儿未满百日，聚口吐沫，此欲作痫候，腹内有冷热癖实。宜服牛黄散方
牛黄（细研） 细辛 黄芩 当归（锉，微炒） 甘草（炙微赤，炒） 防风（去芦头。各一分） 柴胡（一分半，

盈月儿，一合为三服，中间进乳。出一月，一服半合。五、六十日儿，一服一合；百日儿亦一合。出一百日，
服一合半。一、二岁，二合。日二夜一，冬温服之。
《婴孺》治少小心惊，防病牛黄汤；又治痫发，众医不复治者方。（《圣惠》方同）

水一升，煮取二停。）
《婴孺》治少小痫候，夜啼不止。鸡脑丸方
雄鸡脑 丹砂（各三分） 牛黄 当归（各三分）
上为末，以鸡脑和，杵七百下，丸麻子大。百日儿服一丸，日二。量儿大小加减。
《婴孺》治少小痫候，胎寒，舌下唾聚，夜啼不止。雀屎丸方
雄雀屎（炒） 麝香 牛黄（研入。各一分）
上为末，蜜丸黍米大。一月儿与一丸，日一服，服时极送药着咽中，吮乳，令实时咽喉，不久停口中而散
也。后稍加之，百日儿麻子大一丸，日二，临服旋丸，勿先丸。下四十日后，牛黄与麝香可加使多也，为是
一岁儿也。
《婴孺》治少小滞实不去，内有热，摇头弄舌，欲作痫，茯苓汤方

上切，以水三升，先煮麻黄十沸，去沫、纳诸药，煮一升五合。为四服，百日儿一日服尽。大小以意加减。
《婴孺》治少小始盈月变蒸，时患惊，欲作痫。已服四味汤及紫丸，已大下热犹不折，腹满胀、目视高者，宜此除
热。地黄汁汤方
地黄（汁，半合） 黄芩（三分） 大黄 甘草（炙。各一分） 栀子仁（二分）
上切，以水八合煮至四合，去滓，下地黄汁。服一合，日进三服，夜一服。
《婴孺》治七日儿生后有热，欲作痫。茯苓汤方

上切，以水一升煮三合，为三服或五服。热多者加黄芩一分；生三七日以后者，加大黄一分。量儿大小加之。
张涣独活散方 祛风截痫。
独活 羌活 川升麻（细锉） 酸枣仁（拣净） 人参（去芦头。以上各一两） 琥珀 川大黄（细锉，微炒。各

上件捣，罗为细末。每服一钱，水一小盏，入金银薄荷各少许，煎至五分，去滓。放温服，不拘时候。
张涣定心膏方 安神，治欲发痫。

张涣清凉丹方 治壮热连滞，欲作痫。
郁金 黄芩 犀角（末。各一分） 白芍药（半分）
以上同捣，罗为细末。次用
脑、麝（各研，一分） 天竺黄（一分，细研） 好朱砂（半两，细研，水飞）
上件一处拌匀，炼蜜和如鸡头大。每服一粒至二粒，煎人参汤化下。
张涣知母散 治心热弄舌，欲作痫。
知母（一两） 钩藤 升麻 葛根（锉） 黄芩（各一分） 蓝叶 人参（去芦头。各半两）
上件捣，罗为细末。每服一钱，水八分，入竹沥三两点，煎五分，去滓。放温服。
张涣洗浴菖蒲汤方 散风截痫。
菖蒲（三分，一寸九节者） 防风 荆芥穗（各二两） 石膏 梅根（各一两）
上件捣，罗为粗末。每用五匙头，水三碗，煎三五沸，适寒温浴儿。先洗头面，次浴身体为佳。
《孔氏家传》治小儿因吐利欲作痫，宜服五苓散。（方见伤寒自汗门中）
《圣惠方》论述：小儿在癫痫未发作之前以及即将发作之后，或者出现持续的高热不退，或者摇头吐舌，或者眼睛抽搐，这些是癫痫将要发作的征兆，应当尽早治疗。

以上五味药，先将桔梗、桂心、芫花捣成粉末，另外将巴豆、杏仁捣碎如膏状混合；再捣一千下，加入蜂蜜；又捣两千下，制成如胡豆大小的丸剂。用米汤送服一丸，以通利大便为度，最多可服二至三丸。婴儿出生十个月时若欲发癫痫，可给予黍米大小的一至二丸。凡是腹部不适，身体感觉患病就服用此药，得到一至两行通利大便就好了。忌食猪肉、生葱、芦笋等食物。

茯神、元参（各一两半）、川升麻、秦艽（去苗）、龙胆（去芦头，各一两）、寒水石（二两）、川大黄（切碎，微炒）、川芒硝（各三两）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛成为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五分，去渣。分两次温服，早晨和午后各服一次。再根据孩子的大小酌情加减。

龙齿、川芒硝（各一钱）、钩藤、川升麻、子芩、防风（去芦头）、犀角屑（各三分）、麦门冬（一两，去心，焙干）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛成为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，放入竹叶七片，煎至五分，去渣。分为两次服用，每天四次。根据孩子的大小酌情加减。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿高热，将要发作癫痫。适宜服用退热清凉散方。
白药子、甘草（炙微红，切碎）、郁金、黄芩、天竺黄（细研，各一分）、麝香（半分，细研）、朱砂（半分，细研，水飞）。
以上药物捣碎，过细筛成为散剂，全部研磨均匀。不分时候，用温水调服半钱，根据孩子的大小加减服用。

以上药物捣碎，过细筛成为散剂。五岁儿童用竹沥半合，调服半钱，每天三次。根据孩子的大小酌情加减服用。如果不能辨别是否适合服药，煎好的药可以服用，元参、生犀、升麻、葛根、竹沥、生姜汁、大豆汁、地黄汁都可以单独服用。又取少量蚯蚓粪，用水调服，效果很好。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿惊热入心，拟成癫痫疾病，面色不定，啼哭无泪，发热时不吃乳食，大便秘涩，眼睛翻白眼，手足逆冷。牛黄丸方。
牛黄（细研）、川大黄（切碎，微炒）、独活（各一分）、川升麻、琥珀、绿豆粉、大麻仁（各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，过筛成为粉末，炼蜜和丸如梧桐子大小。不分时候，用熟水化开一丸服用。到五七岁时，加金箔、银箔各五片，药改为两丸，研化后服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿将要发作癫痫，极热不止。生葛汁饮子方。
生葛根（汁）、竹沥（各一合）、牛黄（如杏仁大小，细研）。
以上药物混合，每次服用半合。根据孩子的大小加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿将要发作癫痫，壮热如火。洗浴石膏汤方。
石膏（五两）、菖蒲（二两）、雷丸（二两）。
以上药物捣碎，用水煮取三升。温度适宜时给小儿洗浴，并洗头面为佳。
《婴孺书》治疗小儿惊热将要发作癫痫。消热定惊煎方。
柴胡、升麻、栀子仁、芍药（各七分）、子芩、知母（各八分）、寒水石（十二分）、竹叶（切，一升）、甘草（二分，炙）、杏仁（六分，去皮尖，炒，另研）。
以上用水四升七合，煮取一升半，绞去渣，加入蜜、葛汁，在文武火上煎，不停搅拌，至一升二合。一个月以内及刚满月的婴儿，一合分三次服，中间喂奶。超过一个月，一次服半合。五六十天的婴儿，一次服一合；百天的婴儿也服一合。超过一百天，服一合半。一到两岁，服二合。每天两次夜间一次，冬天温服。
《婴孺书》治疗少小心惊，防病牛黄汤；又治癫痫发作，众医不再治疗的方。（与《圣惠方》相同）
牛黄、芍药、杏仁（炒，去皮尖）、蜣螂、蜂房、黄芩、人参、葛根、甘草（炙）、蚱蝉（炙）、芒硝、芎藭、桂心（各一分）、大黄（三分。《圣惠方》用半两）、当归（二分）、石膏（四分，碎。《圣惠方》用半两）。
以上药物细切，取猪内脏及卵，用水一斗煮脏、卵，得三升，去渣，澄清；放入诸药煮，取一升三合，去渣，下芒硝溶尽。一次服一合，每天三次夜间一次，临睡前最后将牛黄纳入汤中，常用非常有效。（另一方案，蚱蝉、蜣螂各五个，无芒硝，用生姜三片，水一升，煮取二停。）
《婴孺书》治疗少小癫痫症状，夜啼不止。鸡脑丸方。
雄鸡脑、丹砂（各三分）、牛黄、当归（各三分）。
以上为粉末，用鸡脑调和，杵七百下，制成麻子大小的丸剂。百日婴儿服一丸，每天两次。根据孩子的大小加减。
《婴孺书》治疗少小癫痫症状，胎寒，舌下唾液积聚，夜啼不止。雀屎丸方。
雄雀屎（炒）、麝香、牛黄（研入，各一分）。
以上为粉末，蜜丸如黍米大小。一个月婴儿给一丸，每天一次，服用时务必让药到达咽中，吮吸乳汁，使药即时在咽喉，不久停在口中而消散。后来逐渐增加，百日婴儿服麻子大一丸，每天两次，临服时现制丸，不要先制好丸。过了四十天后，牛黄与麝香可以增加用量，因为是一岁的婴儿了。
《婴孺书》治疗少小积滞不去，内有热，摇头弄舌，欲作癫痫，茯苓汤方。
茯苓（二分，一说茯神）、蚱蝉（三个，炙）、雀瓮（二个，炙）、蛇蜕皮（半分）、铁精、芍药、麻黄（去节）、黄芪、柴胡、当归、人参（各一分）。
以上切碎，用水三升，先煮麻黄十沸，去沫，纳诸药，煮一升五合。分为四服，百日婴儿一天服完。根据大小酌情加减。

以上捣碎，过筛成为细末。每次服用一钱，水八分，入竹沥三两点，煎五分，去渣。放温服。
张涣洗浴菖蒲汤方 散风截痫。
菖蒲（三分，一寸九节者）、防风、荆芥穗（各二两）、石膏、梅根（各一两）。
以上捣碎，过筛成为粗末。每次用五匙头，水三碗，煎三五沸，温度适宜时给小儿洗浴。先洗头面，次浴身体为佳。
The *Shenghui Fang* discusses: Before an infant or young child's epilepsy occurs and after it is about to occur, or if there is persistent high fever, head shaking, tongue protrusion, or eye twitching, these are signs that epilepsy is about to occur, and early treatment is appropriate.
Zhang Huan discusses: If a child's fright wind (Jingfeng) does not cease, it will transform into epilepsy. There are also cases of epilepsy not caused by fright, but initially there are symptoms to verify this. Before the onset, the body has persistent high fever without cessation, phlegm and saliva are common, and there is a rattling sound in the throat; or there is head shaking, tongue protrusion, squinting eyes, and startle convulsions during sleep. These are definitely signs that epilepsy is about to occur, and interception treatment is appropriate.
The *Waitai Miyao*: The Junhou Black Pill from the *Jiujifang* is an excellent prescription for treating various accumulations and clear fluid retention. This is a prescription for treating epilepsy about to occur in children.
Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin) (each 4 fen); Crotonis Fructus (Badou) (8 fen, remove heart and skin, stir-fry); Genkwanis Flos (Yuanhua) (12 fen, stir-fry); Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren) (5 fen, remove skin and tips, remove double-kernel ones, stir-fry).
The above five herbs: First, crush Platycodonis Radix, Cinnamomi Ramulus, and Genkwanis Flos into powder. Separately crush Crotonis Fructus and Armeniacae Semen Amarum until paste-like, then mix; stir-pound another thousand times, add honey; stir-pound two thousand times, form pills the size of broad beans. Administer one pill with grain water to induce bowel movement, up to two or three pills may be taken. For infants ten months old who are about to have epilepsy, administer one or two pills the size of millet grains. Whenever there is abdominal discomfort or feeling ill, take this medicine; improvement follows after one or two bowel movements. Avoid pork, raw green onion, asparagus fern shoots, etc.
The *Shenghui Fang* treats infants under one hundred days old who gather saliva and foam at the mouth, which is a sign of impending epilepsy due to cold-heat accumulation excess in the abdomen. It is suitable to take Niuhuang San.
Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang) (finely ground), Asari Radix (Xixin), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (chopped, slightly stir-fried), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (roasted until slightly red, stir-fried), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) (remove radicle, each 1 fen), Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu) (1.5 fen, remove sprouts), Rheum Palmatum (Chuan Dahuang) (chopped, slightly stir-fried), Silphae Mummia (Qianglang) (slightly roasted, each 3 fen), Tettigidae Periostracum (Zachan) (3 pieces, slightly roasted).
Crush the above medicines, sift finely to make a powder. Each dose is 1 qian, decocted in one small cup of water until reduced to half a cup, including dregs. Take warm according to the child's age and size, regardless of time.
The *Shenghui Fang* treats children with solid accumulation in the heart and abdomen, high fever, limb stiffness, frequent fright, and impending epilepsy. Fushen San.

Grind to powder, mix with honey to form pills the size of millet grains. One pill for one-month infants, once daily. When taking, ensure the medicine reaches the throat, suck milk so the medicine stays in the throat briefly and disperses. Gradually increase later; for 100-day infants, one pill the size of sesame seeds, twice daily. Make pills just before taking, do not prepare in advance. After forty days, Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang) and Moschus (Shexiang) can be increased because the child is one year old.
